00:12learned that through the years they're my friends and i play with them all night

00:18they're my friends and they'll give you quite a fright

00:25decomposing friends decomposing friends i have decomposing friends and they love me

00:38gets me every time that guy but um this michigan funeral home is the one making headlines today

00:50unfortunately it's been shut down after the state says they found things like maggots oh

01:00and unrefrigerated bodies my friends don't like the cold they like it where it's warm

01:11sometimes the flies they come

01:18and maggots start to swarm here's more on this story about this funeral home shutdown from uh

01:29wnem tv let's take a listen here the michigan licensing and regulatory affairs agency states

01:36it's because of multiple health and occupational violations such as maggots on the floor in the

01:41facility's garage unrefrigerated human bodies stored in un-air-conditioned areas some for more than five

01:48months oh my god the building smelled of decomposing bodies and there was blood and fluid stained casket

01:53pillows in the hallway jesus help i wouldn't even want to go to swanson funeral home but they wouldn't

02:00talk to us we are sorry now i did talk to some people outside of swanson funeral home who didn't

02:07want to go on camera but they're concerned because they have loved ones inside and they can't get in

02:12touch with the funeral home either was there another story about the same few that's what i think there

02:16was i remember swanson me too i think they're a chain because there's two but they say the two here

02:22there's one in detroit and one somewhere in a suburb around here they're not affiliated with this one

02:26they say okay different okay owners well because we talked about a swanson before i guarantee your

02:32home story but the manager of this one is actually o'neill swanson the second is he an african-american

02:40dude i don't i don't know that owns it because i remember yeah you remember didn't you have like

02:46account you tried to do like the black funeral director voice yeah i remember that and it was too hot

02:53like that you can't do black and creepy hard to be creepy

03:08i do was that swanson i don't know yeah what was that story about though i can't remember it was like

03:17they were cheaping out on a lot of things like the swanson funeral home seems like

03:22when you have someone die and you don't have a lot yeah the state has been investigating this home

03:29since november last november last november they were reportedly investigated after they found

03:35decomposing bodies in the garage back then yeah yeah it's not putting the bodies in the garage

03:41yeah if you find bodies in a garage shut the place down immediately there's no investigation needed do

03:46you think what it is is like uh they're like well you know we got to get 20 bodies before it's

03:50affordable enough for us to like cremate like a mass cremation but i don't care that's you can't if

03:55they discover that you can't run your business like that you shut down immediately yeah it's dead

04:00bodies like have some respect here yeah you would think so oh yeah it's like all a financial thing

04:06like it's insane how much we will have to spend to just put ourselves in a box yeah that's crazy

04:11that's why a lot of people opt for a cremation i think too yeah

04:15oh but there'll always be guys like that out there i think there's some wonderful funeral directors

04:48mix up the ashes and just spread them out and give them to everybody i don't know
