00:43louisiana was arrested after authorities say he kidnapped a man he suspected of stealing thousands

00:48of dollars worth of tools from his business and used a hammer to smash the man's hands up

00:5337 year old chad baxter contacted the jefferson paris sheriff's office after he returned to work

01:00and realized that someone had stolen a bunch of stuff from his shop the thief made off with drills

01:05socket sets other tools well over seven grand they estimated he checked his surveillance cameras and

01:12spotted a man he knew as dorian oh it's dorian stealing the stuff dorian is a dead man oh no

01:19he recently had hired dorian for one day to help him clean up around his shop

01:25deputies did identify the suspect as 39 year old dorian lewis they obtained a warrant for his arrest

01:30but baxter found lewis before the cops did how you doing dorian oh baxter i guess you know

05:43be arrested he was booked with second degree battery and second degree kidnapping charges

05:48he's currently being held at the jefferson paris correctional center in lieu of 75 000 bond it's like

05:54if suge knight grabbed you and threw you in his back room and smashed your fingers yeah dude
