00:03Here is our update on the surveillance of Hurricane Christine.

00:08At present, the floodwaters of Hurricane Christine have covered almost the entire country.

00:15At present, the distance of the center of Hurricane Christine is 360 kilometers

00:21east of Daed, Camarinas Norte.

00:24The strong winds near the center of the storm remained at 75 kilometers per hour

00:31while the gust of wind reached 90 kilometers per hour.

00:37It is expected to move in the direction of northwest at a speed of 10 kilometers per hour.

00:45At present, we are experiencing heavy rainfall

00:50here in Luzon, especially in the southern Luzon, Bicol region

00:56and also in Visayas, particularly in eastern and central Visayas.

01:04There are many places that are under the Tropical Cyclone Wind signal,

01:09almost the entire Luzon and some parts of Visayas.

01:13Signal No. 2 is high in the southern portion of Maylan, Cagayan, Isabela,

01:19northeastern portion of Aurora, Catanduanes, eastern portion of Camarinas Norte,

01:25eastern portion of Camarinas Sur, eastern portion of Albay,

01:31eastern portion of Sorsogon, northeastern portion of Northern Samar

01:37and northern portion of Eastern Samar.

01:42Signal No. 1 is high in Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, Apayau,

01:53Calinga, Abra, Mountain Province, Ifugao, Benguet, Batanes,

02:00ten parts of Cagayan, along with Baboyan Islands, ten parts of Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya,

02:07ten parts of Aurora, Nueva Ecija, Terlac, Zambales, Bataan, Pampanga, Bulacan, Metro Manila,

02:18Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon, along with Pulilo Island,

02:25Occidental Mindoro, along with Lubang Island, Oriental Mindoro,

02:32Masbate, along with Tikau and Boreas Islands, Marinduque, Romblon,

02:38ten parts of Cam Norte, ten parts of Cam Sur, ten parts of Albay, ten parts of Sorsogon,

02:47Calamian Islands, Aklan, Capiz, northern portion of Antique along with Caluya Islands,

02:54northern portion of Iloilo,

02:59ten parts of Eastern Samar, ten parts of Northern Samar,

03:05Buong Samar, Leyte, Biliran, Southern Leyte, Dinagat Islands,

03:11Sirigau del Norte, along with Siargao, Bukas, Grande Group.

03:17And here is our forecast for the rain.

03:25So we expect today until next Thursday or Friday,

03:30that there will be heavy or strong rain.

03:32Today until tomorrow night,

03:35we expect intense to torrential rain

03:41in Catanduanes, Cam Norte, Cam Sur, Albay and Sorsogon.

03:47Meanwhile, heavy to intense rain in Masbate,

03:52Eastern Samar, Northern Samar, Cagayan, Isabela, Aurora and Quezon.

04:00Moderate to heavy rains in ten parts of Cagayan Valley,

04:05whole Cordillera, ten parts of Central Luzon, ten parts of Calabarzon,

04:11Metro Manila, Mindoro Provinces, Romblon, Marinduque, Calamian Islands

04:18and ten parts of Visayas.

04:21So almost the whole Luzon and Visayas will experience heavy or torrential rain.

04:30From tomorrow night until Thursday night,

04:36we still expect intense to torrential rain in Isabela, Cagayan, Apayaw and Ilocos Norte.

04:46Heavy to intense rain in ten parts of Cordillera, ten parts of Cagayan Valley,

04:54ten parts of Ilocos Region and whole Central Luzon.

04:59Moderate to heavy rains in Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Metro Manila and Occidental Mindoro.

05:09When it comes to Thursday evening until Friday evening,

05:14we expect heavy to intense rain in Ilocos Region, Sambales and Bataan.

05:21Moderate to heavy rains in whole Cordillera, Tarlac, Pampanga and Occidental Mindoro.

05:30And because of this, we expect heavy to intense rain until the next day.

05:37We should continue to be careful and alert because the threat of flooding and landslides is still there.

05:51Today, we expect strong winds in Mimaropa, Visayas and Mindanao.

05:58Tomorrow, we expect strong winds in Mimaropa, Visayas and Mindanao.

06:06On Thursday, we still expect strong winds in Mimaropa, Bico Region, whole Visayas,

06:14Basilan, Sulu, Tawi-Tawi, Zamboanga, Del Norte, Lanao del Sur, Northern Mindanao,

06:21Dinagat Islands, Surigao del Norte, Davao del Sur and Davao Oriental.

06:27On Friday, we still expect strong winds in Mimaropa, Bico Region, Western Visayas,

06:34Negros Occidental, Zamboanga del Norte, Basilan, Sulu and Tawi-Tawi.

06:45In our forecast track of the storm Christine,

06:50we expect the center of the storm to go to Northern Luzon.

06:59And before it hits the ground, we expect it to be a severe tropical storm.

07:08If the storm does not change its course,

07:13maybe tomorrow night or Thursday morning,

07:23we expect to see a landfall in Aurora.
