00:00Good morning from the Weather Forecasting Center.

00:04This is our update on the weather for the next 24 hours.

00:09We are still not monitoring the low-pressure area or any bad weather

00:13inside and outside of our Philippine Area of Responsibility

00:16that could cause a storm in the next few days.

00:19The effect of the Inter-Tropical Convergence Zone or ITCZ

00:23is that it will cause rain in a large part of Mindanao.

00:27Meanwhile, the Northeast Monsoon or Hanging Amihan

00:30will also cause rain and clouds in some areas of the extreme northern Luzon.

00:35Here in Metro Manila and in most parts of our country,

00:39we will experience fair weather conditions today

00:42in parts of Maulap to Maulap Tapapawirin.

00:45It will be accompanied by isolated rain showers or thunderstorms

00:49usually from afternoon to night.

00:52And for the location of our time here in Luzon,

00:56because of the effect of the Hanging Amihan or Northeast Monsoon,

00:59we expect that there will be a high chance of rain and clouds

01:03in the provinces of Batanes, here in Cagayan, and in the area of Apayaw.

01:09For Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon,

01:12this clear weather will continue.

01:14We will still have isolated rain showers

01:17because thunderstorms are still possible from late afternoon to evening.

01:23is possible to reach 31 degrees Celsius.
