00:04I'm Kate Constable from Beck UL and I'm joined by Matt Horner and Casey Hudson.

00:08We have an odds boost for you once again today.

00:11This is called the Daily Boost after all.

00:14It is on for MLB teams to get the win today.

00:18How about we go Red Sox, Pirates, Guardians, and Mets all to win.

00:26Matt, tell us why you like this one.

00:28Yeah, I mean, you're getting 8-1 odds here, so obviously a little bit of a sprinkle.

00:32I'm not going to go heavy on this, but the Red Sox are facing the Marlins.

00:35We all know the Marlins are one of the worst teams in baseball.

00:38They're absolutely dreadful.

00:39So for them to get the win, probably not asking too much there.

00:43The Pirates, that might be asking a lot.

00:45They're facing the Cardinals who have been hot offensively recently.

00:49They do have Jared Jones on the mound, though, who has been quite solid for them.

00:52So there's always a shot they can beat St. Louis.

00:55Going to the Mets.

00:56I love the Mets today against Mitchell Parker, who's a big-time regression candidate.

01:01The Mets have also been destroying left-handers with a 125 WRC+.

01:05So I love the Mets looking at that.

01:07And then the Guardians are facing my wonderful White Sox, who are just disgusting.

01:13Watching them play baseball is a pain to my eyes.

01:16So yes, I think the Guardians can win.

01:18So 8-1 odds.

01:20Don't mind that at all.

01:21Yeah, I couldn't agree more.

01:22I think this is at least worth a look.

01:24The White Sox are 7th in both batting average and slugging percentage, 9th in base percentage.

01:29So they've got a lot of things going for them.

01:31And as Matt mentioned, the Marlins aren't doing too hot right now.

01:34As for the Pirates, Cardinals, apparently the Cardinals should be allowing a decent

01:37number of runs today, which could be favorable for the Pirates.

01:40Pirates at home should have a more solid performance.

01:42Then you've got the Guardians and the Mets.

01:44Mets being the more flatter—not versus each other.

01:47Mets being a flattering yes here.

01:49Guardians kind of being the question mark in this situation.

01:51So I think when you're looking at a solid 3 out of 4, it's worth taking a look at and

01:54definitely with that sprinkle.

01:57Love it.

01:58I'm on board with all those as well.

02:18I'm going to go with the Phillies to get the win on the Moneyline against the Cubs tonight.

02:22Phillies, you can get the minus 128, minus 130 most places.

02:27Shota Imanaga is on the mound for the Cubs.

02:29And that's a name that might make you think, OK, he's been good this season.

02:33He's gotten roughed up quite a bit over his last couple starts.

02:36So I don't have a ton of faith in him.

02:37Zach Wheeler is going for the Phillies.

02:40Much more confident in Wheeler right now, plus those Philly bats.

02:43Always seem to get hot, whereas the Cubs, you know, their offense is bent up and down

02:48at times and their bullpen is awful.

02:50That's kind of been the Achilles heel is a ton of blown leads, blown saves for the Cubs.

02:56So I don't have much confidence, even if the Cubs do get up early in this one.

02:59So I will take Phillies on the Moneyline minus 128.

03:06We are in a state of awfulness in Chicago when it comes to baseball.

03:09They all are terrible.

03:10It's just disgusting.

03:12I hate watching them as a fan.

03:15I'm going to go to the night game.

03:16We got the Angels and the A's.

03:18I actually picked the Angels last night, and they lost this.

03:21The first time I've given out a loss here in a while because I trusted the poverty Angels.

03:26How could I do such a thing?

03:28I'm going to go with the over in this game tonight, the Angels and the A's.

03:32Davis Daniels on the mound for the Angels.

03:34He had an unbelievable MLB debut.

03:36He went eight innings.

03:37No word runs allowed.

03:39He was just destroying in that outing.

03:42Don't see that happening again.

03:43I think that's a little ridiculous that he could do that.

03:46In his debut in the first place, so I think this total is a little low at eight.

03:50Plus, you're playing in the Coliseum tonight.

03:53Obviously, it's a very hitter-friendly ballpark with winds blowing out.

03:57Expect it tonight as well.

03:59Joey Estes on the other side for the A's.

04:01Little positive aggression coming his way, but I expect the Angels to still put up a

04:06few runs on the guys.

04:07So, yeah, give me the over eight.

04:08I just think that total is slightly low here for these two starting pitchers.

04:13Love both of those.

04:15Actually going to take mine across the pond.

04:17With all the craziness going on with hockey and free agency and draft and all the things,

04:22nobody would remember that Wimbledon is taking place, at least in my world.

04:25So, we've got Ben Shelton beating Lloyd Harris at minus 137.

04:30Shelton had a great bounce-back performance versus Bellucci, whom Harris lost to on May 22nd.

04:35Yes, the bigger difference being that Harris lost on clay versus grass, but with clay,

04:41you can get a lot more slip going on.

04:43Not to mention is that they had some weather delays and issues taking place when this tournament

04:47went down.

04:48So, you were dealing with a lot of unpredictable clay versus the grass that seems to be playing

04:52in favor of a lot of the tops over at Wimbledon right now.

04:55Harris also has not faced Shelton in two years, and we've seen how much his game has elevated

05:00and how much faster his serve has gotten, how much faster his forehand has gotten.

05:05His response alone is really, really hard to gauge and to be able to weather.

05:09So, Harris is going to be in for a battle going against left-handed Ben Shelton today

05:13in the afternoon.

05:14So, I'd like Shelton to just outright win this one and move on.

05:17Love it.
