00:46terrible. He's got a 489 expected ERA. He's just awful at home, especially because he

00:52plays in cores and he allows a lot of home runs. So if you want to put a little sprinkle

00:56on this, I definitely wouldn't mind it. But just a little bit, obviously, 22 to one longer

01:01odds. But yeah, could be worth it. I love this. And this goes with my my bet as well,

01:06because I will get to Austin Gomber and how bad he is when it comes to my bet. So he's

02:02But also this bet. So he just hit this on Sunday with six total bases, a home run in

02:07that game. He has hit this in two of his last three games with three total bases four games

02:12ago against Austin Gomber, who, as you said, is not great. He's bad. He's batting to eighty

02:18six against him with two hits. And Gomber gave up eight hits and five runs in his last

02:23start. Just last start. Zara is just under five. So that's not so great. So I like Christian

02:29Yellen's chances for over one and a half. Yeah, I love that. Definitely can hit inside

02:35cores against Gomber. He's just terrible. I am going to I'm not going to go to that

02:40game. I'm going to one of the three games we have today. Really not three games. Yeah.

02:46Three games. There's really not much to be picking from today, but I'm going to go with

02:50the Mets on the money line here. Minus one. Oh, six. Kind of a surprising price, honestly,

02:54if you look at facing the Nationals, who are just not good. Never buys high on the Mets

02:59right now. But I am going to go with the Mets here. And I think the reason why they're priced

03:03this way is because David Peterson is on the mound and everybody knows David Peterson is

03:07a huge negative regression. Kennedy is a three sixty seven era, but he's got a six twelve

03:13expected era, a four eighty five expected FIP and eighty point four percent strand rate

03:19and a six sixty seven K through nine and a four thirty three BB through nine. Basically,

03:24he walks a ton of people and he doesn't strike out a lot of people. He stinks. And Mackenzie

03:28Gore is on the mound on the other side, who's a lot better. Three sixty era, three seventy

03:32nine expected three fifty six expected FIP and a really high three fifty nine Babbitt.

03:37So I think maybe a little positive regression for Gore, who's clearly the better starting

03:41pitcher here. But the Mets have advantages pretty much everywhere else across the board

03:46except for starting pitching. Huge advantage offensively. One twenty five WRC plus versus

03:51lefty is one of the best in baseball against left handers like Gore, whereas the Washington

03:56Nationals are having eighty one WRC plus against left handers like Peterson. They're terrible

04:00against left handers. Bullpen. Huge advantage once again going to the Mets defensively.

04:06Huge advantage once again going to the Mets. The Nationals are fifth worst in defense and

04:09defensive runs scored. So, yeah, I'm going to go with the Mets here at this minus one

04:15or six price. I think we're getting a discount because they're just way better in everything

04:19except the starting pitching in this game. Love that the Grimace Mets. Hopefully in July

04:23they can keep that up because they had a massive June. So hopefully Grimace comes along for

04:28the ride in July. I like that bet very much. Going to tell you on that. I think get in
