Paneer Butter Masala is a creamy onion-tomato-cashew nuts based curry with paneer, butter and aromatic spices. It's rich flavorful and often enjoyed with naan or rice.
Paneer Butter Masala Ingredients: 3 Big Tomatoes 2 Big Onions 20 Cashew Nuts 4 Cardamoms 5-6 Cloves 2 Bay Leaves Paneer Pieces 1 and 1/2 Tsp Ginger - Garlic - Green Chilly Paste Powdered Spices: 2 Tsp Chilly Powder 1 and 1/2 Tsp Coriander Powder 1 Tsp Cumin Powder 1 Tsp Garam Masala 1/4 Tsp Turmeric Powder Oil (According to you) Butter (According to you) Salt as required Water or Milk Kasoori Methi Fresh Cream (Optional)
Method of Cooking: 1. Heat Vessel add Oil, then add Butter according to you. 2. Add Cardamoms and Cloves. 3. Add Onions and saute till translucent. 4. Add Ginger - Garlic - Green Chilly Paste and fry till raw smell disappears. 5. Add the Tomatoes and saute till tomatoes become smushy. 6. Add the Cashew Nuts. 7. Close the Lid and let the mixture cook for sometime. 8. Then Switch off the Gas and allow the mixture to cool. 9. Grind the Mixture into fine paste. 10. Strain the fine paste as shown to get the required Puree. 11. Heat Vessel add Oil, Butter and Bay leaves. 12. Add the Puree and the Powdered Spices. 13. Add Salt as required. 14. Add Paneer pieces and give a gentle stir. 15. Add Water or Milk if the gravy is too thick. 16. Close the Lid and let it cook for sometime. 17. Switch Off the Gas. 18. Finally Add Kasoori Methi and Fresh Cream.
