On May 16, Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed shock over attack on Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico. PM Modi said, “India stands in solidarity with the people of the Slovak Republic.” Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico was shot after a cabinet meeting in the central town of Handlova. PM Fico was rushed to the hospital. Visuals of Prime Minister Robert Fico being taken in his armoured limousine by his bodyguards have gone viral.
