The West Indies vs Australia first Test 2025 at the Kensington Oval, Bridgetown, Barbados on Day 2 saw West Indies take a ten-run lead in the first innings. They bowled out Australia for 180 on Day 1, but the conditions were bowler friendly and West Indies were down to 72/5 in no time. It was then Roston Chase and Shai Hope came together at the crease and they stitched a partnership of 67 runs which took West Indies out of deep waters and made the game evenly poised. Alzarri Joseph chipped in towards the back end with some big hits as well helping West Indies take a small lead. Mitchell Starc scalped three wickets while Josh Hazlewood, Pat Cummins and Beau Webster picked two wickets each.  In the second innings, by the end of Day 2's play, Australia are 92/4 with Travis Head and Beau Webster out on the crease. They will look to set a strong target in front of the hosts with the pitch slightly getting better to bat on.
