00:41 In the Circular Memorandum No. 47

00:43 passed by Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin,

00:46 President Marcos ordered all government agencies and local governments

00:52 to support the implementation of the Enhanced Partnership Against Hunger and Poverty program.

00:57 This is one of the programs of the Task Force on Hunger

01:00 that is far from institutionalizing hunger and nutrition

01:06 through the coordination of community-based organizations.

01:11 Meanwhile, President Marcos also simplified the process and measures

01:17 of importing or importing agricultural products to the country.

01:21 President Marcos also ordered the removal of non-tariff barriers

01:25 to resolve the rising domestic prices or price of agricultural commodities.

01:31 Based on the Administrative Order No. 20

01:33 passed by Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin,

01:36 the Administrative Constraint and Non-Tariff Barriers are still in force

01:52 the speed of administrative procedures for the transparency and predictability of importation barriers is important.

02:03 to maintain a sufficient supply of agricultural goods,

02:07 and to promote local production.

02:09 The President also ordered the Agriculture Department to help the DTI

02:14 and the Department of Finance to simplify the license for importers,

02:19 registration requirements, and others.

02:21 President Marcos also ordered the DA, DTI, Bureau of Customs,

02:26 Philippine Competition Commission, DILG, DOJ, NBI, and PNP

02:31 to form a surveillance team to ensure effective implementation of the so-called law.
