Jimmy Kimmel is reacting to being sued by George Santos. The ABC late-night host devoted a portion of his Tuesday night monologue on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' to talking about being sued for alleged fraud by the former congressman. Kimmel said Santos brought the legal action against the late-night TV host, his company and the Walt Disney company because "we did a nice thing, because we supported him by ordering his Cameo videos."

00:30 Since Santos was expelled from the U.S. House of Representatives,
00:33 he's filmed cameo videos for people that have appeared on social media.
00:37 In December, Kimmel joined in and anonymously made his own request to Santos' cameo account,
00:42 asking for personalized videos of him reading what were actually fake stories,
00:46 and later airing it as part of a new segment, "Will Santos Say It?"
00:50 "He says we deceived him under the guise of fandom, soliciting personalized videos,
00:56 only to then broadcast these on national television.
00:59 And if there's one thing George Santos will not stand for,
01:02 it's using a fake name under false pretenses."
01:05 Santos is requesting $750,000 plus damages.
01:09 Kimmel dismissed Santos, claiming he had been duped by the messages sent to him by the late
01:13 night show. "This is like getting sued for paternity by Nick Cannon."
01:17 The ex-congressman separately faces numerous criminal charges,
01:22 including allegations he defrauded campaign donors, used campaign contributions to pay
01:26 for personal expenses, and lied to Congress about his wealth.
