00:00 Quran-e-Hakeem, Sirat-ul-Nabi (SAW)
00:04 Ahadith-e-Mubarka, Fiqh-e-Wasayil-e-Bayan
00:07 and many more, God willing, with the best of scholars.
00:23 As-Salaamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuhu
00:30 Faa'oodu Billahi Minash Shaitanir Rajeem
00:34 Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem
00:36 Allahumma Salli 'Ala Sayyidina wa Nabiyina Muhammad
00:38 Wa 'Ala Aali Sayyidina wa Habibina Muhammad
00:40 Wa Barak wa Sallim
00:42 I would like to tell you an incident from the time of the Prophet (SAW)
00:48 This incident is mentioned in almost all the books of Hadith.
00:55 I will tell you the narration of the Prophet (SAW)
00:59 The incidents in the books of Hadith are slightly different.
01:04 The general incident is the same, only the words are different.
01:08 This is the narration of the Prophet (SAW)
01:10 It is narrated from Sayyidina Umar (RA)
01:13 While we were sitting with the companions of the Prophet (SAW)
01:25 Suddenly a man appeared to us
01:29 He was wearing a very white dress and very black hair
01:39 He said, "I can't see any signs of travel on him."
01:45 In the time of Madinah Murawara, there was a lot of dust and wind
01:55 People who used to travel on horses and camels
02:00 They had a lot of signs of travel
02:04 Their clothes were dirty, their hair was dirty
02:09 But he said that he had no signs of travel
02:13 He had very black hair and a very white dress
02:16 As if he had just washed his hair and put on new clothes
02:20 But he said that none of us recognized him
02:26 If he was a person of Madinah Murawara
02:30 If he lived there, then some of us would recognize him
02:34 But none of us recognized him
02:37 And there is no sign of travel, it means that no one came from outside
02:41 So you try to guess his condition
02:44 The companions were sitting and he had a lot of respect for the Prophet (SAW)
02:50 The way he used to sit in the gathering, he also had a lot of respect
02:57 He used to sit in a circle and the person who came
03:01 Sayyidna Umar said that
03:03 "Hatta jalasa ila nabiyee salallahu alaihi wasallam fa asnada ruqbataihi ila ruqbataihi
03:08 wa wada'a kafaihi ala faqizaihi"
03:11 The person who came, he broke the circle and sat in front of the Prophet (SAW)
03:19 And he sat in such a way that his knees touched the Prophet's (SAW) knees
03:25 And he placed his hands on the Prophet's (SAW) feet
03:31 Now think, no one knows him, there is no sign of travel
03:36 If he came from outside, then there must be some sign
03:40 If he was from Madinah, then someone would recognize him
03:43 The normal way of the gathering, he came out of it and sat in front of the Prophet (SAW)
03:51 So try to guess his condition
03:53 And he started asking some questions
03:55 And he said
03:57 "O Muhammad, tell me about Islam"
04:04 What is Islam?
04:06 The Prophet (SAW) said
04:08 "Fa qala Rasool Allah Sallallahu alaihi wasallam al Islamu anta shahada
04:12 la ilaha illa Allah wa anna Muhammadan Rasool Allah
04:15 wa tuqeem as salah wa tuqtiyaz zakah
04:18 wa tasooma Ramadan wa tahujjal bayt
04:20 an istitata ilaihi sabila"
04:24 Islam is that you give a testimony that there is no one other than Allah
04:29 That Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah
04:32 And that you should perform Salah, give zakah, fast Ramadan
04:36 And perform Hajj to the house of Allah if you have the ability to go there
04:41 This is the definition of Islam
04:43 So this person said
04:47 "Fa qala sadaqta"
04:50 You are absolutely right
04:52 You are right
04:54 In other words, the answer is correct
04:57 So Sayyidina Umar said
04:59 "Fa ajibna lahum"
05:01 We were very surprised at this person
05:03 "Yas'aluhu wa yusaddiquhu"
05:06 That he asks questions and confirms them
05:09 Meaning, if he did not know
05:11 So when he got the answer, how can you say that the answer is correct?
05:15 If he did not know, and if he knew, then why did he ask?
05:18 So he says that he was very surprised
05:20 But we are seeing the whole scene
05:22 Then this person asks
05:24 "Qala fa akhbirni 'anil iman"
05:27 He has told me about faith
05:29 So Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said
05:32 "Qala an tu'mina bil-lahi wa mala'ikatihi wa qutubihi wa rusulihi wa al-yawmi al-akhiri wa tu'mina bil-qadri khairihi wa sharrihi"
05:39 This faith is that you believe in Allah, His angels, His books, His messengers and the day of the hereafter
05:47 And you believe in destiny, good and bad
05:51 Then this person says
05:53 "Qala sadakta"
05:54 You gave the correct answer
05:56 Then he asks
05:58 "Qala fa akhbirni 'anil ihsan"
06:00 That tell me about Ihsan
06:02 So Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said
06:05 "Qala an ta'budallaha ka anaka taraahu fa illam ta'kun taraahu fa innahu yaaraak"
06:11 Ihsan is that you worship Allah as if you are seeing Allah
06:17 And if you are not seeing Allah, then Allah is seeing you
06:22 Let's ask the fourth question
06:25 "Qala fa akhbirni 'anil sa'aa"
06:27 Tell me when the time of the hereafter will come
06:30 Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said
06:33 "Mal mas'oolu 'anha bi a'lamah minas sa'ail"
06:36 That the one who is being asked, he does not know more than the one who is being asked
06:42 That means neither you know when the time of the hereafter will come nor I know when the time of the hereafter will come
06:46 Allah did not give us the knowledge of this thing
06:49 "Qala fa akhbirni 'an amaratih"
06:52 Tell me about the signs of it
06:55 What are the signs of the hereafter
06:57 When will it happen so that we know that the hereafter is near
07:02 Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said
07:05 "Qala an talidal amatu rabbataha"
07:08 That the first sign is that a slave will give birth to her master
07:14 And the second sign is
07:17 "Wa an tara al hufaatil uraatil a'alataa ria'a al sha'iitaa yata taawaloona fil buniyan"
07:23 You will see that the people who are barefoot, bare-bodied, and graze sheep and goats
07:33 They will compete with each other in the construction of big buildings
07:39 That means wealth and wealth will become very common in other words
07:44 "Summan talaqa"
07:46 Now this person got up and left
07:48 "Syedna Umar said, "I stayed for a while"
07:53 People left, the companions were surprised to see this scene
07:57 They said, "I stayed for a while"
07:59 "Then the Prophet said, "O Umar, I don't know who this person was"
08:06 Do you know who this person was?
08:09 "I said, "I only know Allah and His Messenger, I don't know who he was"
08:17 "He said, "He was Gabriel, and he came to teach you your religion"
08:37 Scholars have written that religion is the name of four things
08:43 Unfortunately, we only describe religion as Salat, fasting, and Zakat
08:48 That means in this blessed hadith, which is interpreted as Islam, we consider it as religion
08:56 In this blessed hadith, we consider the description of Islam that Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) has given as religion as religion
09:04 Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is saying that Gabriel came to teach you religion
09:10 Faith, which is our faith, the things we believe in, which are in our hearts
09:18 Faith in Allah's Oneness, Faith in the Prophet, Faith in the angels, Faith in the books, Faith in the destiny, etc.
09:25 Which is also mentioned in this blessed hadith
09:28 Number two, Islam, which is our duty
09:32 Number three, another thing that I mentioned, is Ihsan
09:36 "Worship Allah as if you are seeing Allah"
09:42 Go in this state
09:44 And if you are not seeing Allah, or you can't see Allah, at least have this state that Allah is seeing you
09:52 Here I would like to take a pause to define worship and praise it
10:00 Allah Almighty has said in the Holy Quran, "I have not created the jinn and the human beings, but that they may worship Me"
10:12 Now some people ask, if Allah Almighty has created us to worship Him, then what are we doing here?
10:20 I am talking to you, you are listening to me, so we are not worshipping, we should be standing on the cross
10:27 So we work, we do jobs, so is this not worship?
10:33 So the answer to this is a brief one, worship is the name of eternity, we are the servants of Allah
10:40 We are all servants of Allah
10:43 And Allah Almighty has put us all in charge
10:48 As a father, as a mother, as a son, as a daughter, as a husband, as a wife, as an employer, as an employee, as a businessman, as a neighbor
11:04 Allah Almighty has put us in charge of many things
11:07 All of these things are worship in the way Allah Almighty has told us to do
11:14 So this is worship
11:17 And you should worship in such a way that you are able to see Allah Almighty
11:24 How I am doing my job, how I am becoming a father, how I am becoming a husband, how I am becoming a wife, how I am becoming a mother
11:33 How I am becoming a son, how I am becoming a daughter, how I am becoming a neighbor, how I am becoming an employer
11:39 How I am behaving with my subordinates who work for me, Allah is watching me
11:46 Now you think, if a person is able to see Allah Almighty, then won't there be a beauty in his morals?
11:56 Some people have a habit of not controlling their anger
12:00 They get angry at their wife, their husband, their wife gets angry at her husband
12:05 They get angry at their children
12:08 But if they are outside, people are watching
12:12 Then even if they get angry, they are able to control their anger
12:17 And they don't express their anger in front of people
12:21 If this is the situation inside the house, where people are not watching
12:26 That people are not watching, Allah is watching
12:29 So the way they were able to control their anger outside, will they not be able to control their anger inside the closed room?
12:38 They will definitely be able to
12:40 But this feeling that Allah is watching me, this should be tried to create
12:48 And in this, the question that Sajjad Jibreel asked was "What is Ihsan?"
12:54 Ihsan is from beauty
12:57 Hussan means beauty, we also call it beauty in Urdu
13:01 Beauty is created inside a person's personality
13:05 If we bring the state of Ihsan inside our life
13:08 That Allah is watching me all the time
13:11 Allah Almighty has said in the Quran
13:14 "Allah is with you wherever you are"
13:20 So we should try to create this state
13:25 And this is the third dimension of our religion
13:28 We talk about dimensions in pictures, even in cameras
13:34 First 3D cameras came, then 4D cameras, then HD cameras
13:39 As the dimensions kept on increasing, the beauty of the picture on the camera also kept on increasing
13:46 40 years ago, 30 years ago, the way all the programs were broadcasted, look at the quality of those and look at the quality of today
13:56 High definition, 4D
13:59 So Ihsan is the third dimension of our religion
14:03 When there is a 2D picture, it has one beauty
14:09 But when the third dimension is added to it, the picture becomes more beautiful
14:14 So this is the third dimension of our religion
14:19 Ihsan, and by Allah, it is also called Ihsan
14:23 That it creates beauty in a person's personality
14:28 Please, we should all try to create this state, the state of Ihsan
14:34 And it will be created when we realize that Allah is watching us
14:41 Allah is watching us all the time, even when we are in a closed room
14:46 Even when we are in a bathroom, even when we are in an office
14:50 Even when we are with people, even when we are alone
14:54 When this state of Ihsan is created, a person does not do anything wrong
14:58 His soul tries to fill it, that do something wrong
15:03 But when he remembers that Allah is watching him, he stops doing that wrong thing
15:08 Control your tongue, control your anger, control your eyes, control your ears
15:12 Control your body, control your emotions
15:16 Please try to create this
15:19 And I had asked a fourth question, Inshallah, we will talk about that fourth question in another episode
15:26 Which is very important, that the signs of the day of judgement
15:30 In the part of religion, Jibreel (AS) asked this question
15:36 Jibreel came to teach you your religion
15:39 He also asked the signs of the day of judgement
15:42 But please, we should understand the whole religion, religion is very beautiful
15:46 This is the religion of nature, that Allah has created man in his nature
15:50 According to that, Allah has given us our religion
15:54 So Inshallah, we will take a short break, we will meet after the break
15:57 You can also email your questions
16:00 At dinefitrat@arydigital.tv
16:06 Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuhu
16:09 Welcome back, after the break we are here with your questions
16:13 We have received an email from Mr. Razi Umar from Canada
16:25 He has written in the beginning that your program Dine Fitrat is broadcasted every Sunday morning at 7.30am
16:33 And since the inception of your program, I have been watching all your shows and enjoy it as it relates to the reality of our lives
16:40 In Canada, at 7.30am, this program Dine Fitrat is broadcasted
16:45 And since the beginning, we are watching it and enjoying it
16:49 Please keep up the good work and I hope and pray that we all gain wisdom
16:54 And live a life that enhances the betterment of our societies
16:58 So please continue this work because it is related to our daily life
17:04 And I hope that we all gain wisdom and live a good life that is beneficial for our society
17:10 Thank you very much Mr. Razi, may Allah keep you happy
17:15 That you are watching this with a good intention
17:19 And that you are enjoying it
17:21 And I hope that we all gain wisdom and live a life that enhances the betterment of our societies
17:29 This is the purpose of this program, to bring positive change in our society
17:34 And as a Muslim and as a human being, we can make a beautiful reflection of our religion in front of the world
17:42 This is our purpose here
17:45 And I have asked some questions about forgiveness
17:52 I am just summarizing that there are some people who hurt others knowingly and lying
18:03 Sometimes they accuse, slander and provoke
18:09 So, these people who deliberately hurt others and are disrespectful, should they be forgiven?
18:18 But the Sunnah of Prophet (PBUH) is that when he was attacked, he forgave
18:27 But when he was harmed in society, he did not forgive
18:34 Not everyone is forgiven, but it is judged how much harm is being done by their actions
18:43 If someone talks to me in a disrespectful manner, for example, and that is limited to their own self
18:49 It does not have any effect on the society
18:52 So, the good thing is that I forgive him
18:56 But the bad thing is that whenever I go to him, he hurts me
19:01 So, we should keep a distance from such people
19:05 So that we do not interact with them so much
19:10 Because we know that whenever we meet, we will hurt them
19:14 We will say something bad, we will say some bad words
19:18 So, we should keep a distance
19:20 I am not saying that we should cut off all relations
19:23 It is not at all permissible to cut off all relations in our religion
19:27 But the opposite of cutting off relations is not that you meet them every day
19:34 So, we should keep a distance and protect ourselves from the evil of others
19:41 So, if it is only about the self, then Allah likes to forgive
19:49 We hope that if we forgive people for the sake of Allah, then Allah will forgive us on the Day of Judgment
19:58 Another question is how can I practice Islam to the best of my ability
20:07 I am summarizing again
20:12 I continue to fail in my life
20:14 I have failures in my life and sometimes I doubt if Allah is punishing me for any sin
20:22 But the world is a place of trials
20:24 We should remember this
20:26 I should remember this and you should remember this
20:29 That the world is a place of trials
20:32 This is the place of trials
20:34 We are coming from somewhere and going somewhere
20:38 This temporary phase in this world, we are in some trial every moment
20:45 That trial sometimes comes in the form of a loss and sometimes it comes in the form of a benefit
20:54 Allah said in the Quran that I will test you with good and evil
21:03 And believe me that the test of goodness is more difficult than the test of evil
21:10 If someone's wealth is lost, for example, if there is a loss in business
21:16 Then it is possible that if he is a believer and has a relationship with Allah, then he will be heartbroken
21:23 He will pray and say to Allah that Allah, there is a loss, what should I do now
21:29 He will test his ways and will be more unjust in his prayers
21:33 In other words, his closeness to Allah increased and he increased in his prayers
21:39 There was a test but the result was that his attachment to Allah, his closeness, his prayers increased
21:49 So this is a benefit for him if we look at it carefully
21:54 But if someone has wealth, wealth makes many people arrogant
22:03 They forget Allah, when there was a test
22:08 What should have been the answer to that test?
22:11 The answer should have been that when I got wealth, Allah gave me his blessings
22:17 So I would have gone a long way to thank Allah
22:21 I would have spent that wealth on good ways, on poor people, on spreading the religion of Allah
22:31 I would have spent it on my relatives, etc. There are many avenues to spend wealth
22:36 So I would have spent the wealth, thanked Allah and I would have felt more humble
22:42 I would have felt that Allah has blessed me so much that I am such a weak person but Allah's blessings are so much on me
22:52 So I should have felt more humble and thankful
22:55 But most people when it comes to wealth, when it comes to good, they become arrogant and out of control
23:03 So this failed in that test
23:05 So Allah says in the Quran that I have created life and death only to test you to see who does the best deeds
23:14 Allahi khalaqal mawta wal hayata liyaabluwakum ayyukum ahsanu amala
23:19 So life is a test, sometimes with trouble, sometimes with good, sometimes with trouble
23:26 Health comes and sickness comes, wealth comes and wealth goes, all these are tests
23:32 So please, no one should feel that I have faced so many difficulties and Allah is angry with me and is punishing me
23:42 So what should I do?
23:43 See, not every difficulty is a punishment, some difficulties are tests
23:49 Yes, it happens that when a person is continuously making mistakes and not turning to Allah and not repenting
23:59 So Allah sends a difficulty to wake him up so that he can make a new connection with Allah
24:09 And this is also what we call in English as blessing in disguise
24:13 This is also a hidden goodness and the biggest goodness is that you can make a connection with Allah
24:20 So please don't feel so small
24:22 There are many blessings, so think about your blessings
24:26 The blessings of eyes, ears, heart, health, food, family, we have talked about this in detail
24:38 We are surrounded by blessings, these are small things, these are very ordinary things
24:44 In comparison to all those blessings that Allah has given us
24:49 So please don't feel so sad, this is Satan who wants to push us into despair
24:54 Allah says, "Do not despair of Allah's mercy"
25:03 We want to defeat Satan, he is our enemy, he is spreading lies, we should ignore those lies
25:11 "Do not fear Allah, but fear Allah, and seek refuge in Allah from Satan"
25:16 Allah says, "When Satan spreads lies in your heart, seek refuge in Allah"
25:21 Allah will bring us to goodness, and He wants goodness for us
25:28 So please don't go into despair
25:30 May Allah keep you happy
25:32 Keep watching the program, keep asking questions
25:35 On Deen-e-Fitrat at arydigital.tv
25:38 InshaAllah, we will meet again next week
25:41 Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh
25:44 May Allah bless you
25:46 May Allah bless you
25:48 May Allah bless you
25:50 May Allah bless you
25:52 May Allah bless you
25:54 May Allah bless you
