Uttarakhand: Pushkar Singh Dhami Meets Governor to Lay Claim for Government Formation, To Become Chief Minister After Being Elected Chief of BJP Legislative Party

On March 21, the BJP announced that Pushkar Singh Dhami has been given a second term as the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand. The decision was announced after the legislature party meeting on March 21 in Dehradun. This comes even though Pushkar Singh Dhami lost his own seat, Khatima. Union minister Rajnath Singh and senior leader Meenakshi Lekhi were present for the meeting. Later, Dhami met Governor Lt Gen (retd) Gurmit Singh to stake claim for forming a government in the state.
