Ingredients:- 1 cup of Sago soaked in water for 2 hours and then drained and kept aside 1 litre of Coconut milk 2 tbsp. of Rice powder 1 cup Sugar 1 tsp. Green cardamom powder Few strands of Saffron soaked in 2-3 tbsp of warm milk 15 Almonds soaked, skinned and finely sliced
Method:- 1. Heat 1 cup of water with Sago and cook for 5 minutes or until almost done. 2. Then add coconut milk, sugar, cardamom powder and boil for 2 minutes. 3. Make a paste of the rice powder with 3 tbsp of Water and add it to the kheer. 4. Stir the kheer continuously until the kheer turns slightly thick. 5. Garnish with the saffron milk, almonds and serve.
