A pair of dogs could not hide their excitement when their airman dad returned home from deployment in the Middle East to surprise them after seven months apart. Tarus Marshall, 33, a technical sergeant in the United States Air Force Reserve, shares a close bond with his two pit bulls, Bella and Ryder, missing them while he was away on deployment in Saudi Arabia. Tarus, from Houston, Texas, received Bella as a gift from his brother as a puppy; while Ryder was a friend's dog who needed a new home. While Tarus was based in the Middle East, the pooches stayed with a friend, who Tarus contacted to say he was returning home and would like to surprise them. And so, on April 9, the friend had the pair wait in the backyard while their military dad made his way into the house. Then, when Bella and Ryder were let back inside, they immediately darted for Tarus, jumping up and down with excitement as he lowered himself to their level to greet them. Tarus said that he was nervous the pair might not recognize or remember him, but having seen their reaction, the delighted 33-year-old later shared a video of the moment on social media.
