코로나19 신규확진 50명, 사흘째 두 자릿수…추석연휴 최대 변수

Our starting point tonight: the nation's virus tally at fifty today - the lowest in almost two months.
South Korea has reported double-digit increase in Covid-19 cases for the last three days.
But, health authorities here remain on alert as sporadic cluster infections continue to pop up at small gatherings and community centers for senior citizens across the country.
To prevent another wave during and after the Chuseok holiday period, a special virus prevention period is now in effect for the next two weeks.
Restrictions are in place for gatherings: 50 or less for indoors and no more than one hundred for outdoors; local festival and traditional games, which are common during Chuseok, must be held with a limited number of spectators.
