The South Korean government's latest distribution of emergency COVID-19 relief funds begins on Monday.
From today, families will begin receiving a special allowance of some 170 U.S. dollars per child under the age of 13.
The beneficiaries are the families of some 5-point-3 million children.
Support of 130 dollars per middle school student will be distributed to eligible families after the Chuseok holiday.
