Tornadoes tear through US Midwest

Storms have cut a swathe through the US's Midwest claiming at least 10 lives.

Tornados flattened homes and demolished shops and offices buildings.

Emergency services were called out across the region as people were trapped in rubble that was once a home.

Rescue crews in Missouri searched a trailer park, a shopping centre and upturned cars for the injured.
