00:00Russia launched 26 missiles and almost 600 drones at Ukraine overnight.
00:07The country's president Volodymyr Zelensky said.
00:10The western regions of the country were hit the hardest,
00:14including the cities of Lviv, Chernivsty and Lutsk.
00:18Lviv experienced its most severe strike since the beginning of Russia's invasion,
00:23the city's mayor has said.
00:25Meanwhile in Chernivsty, at least two people were killed by fallen debris.
00:29And at least 14 others were injured, including four who are in critical condition.
00:35The latest attack comes as Russia has significantly intensified its all-out war on Ukraine,
00:41launching a record number of drones and missiles in recent weeks.
00:45Zelensky reminded western allies to impose additional sanctions
00:49and said the war can only be stopped through strength.
