Ballerina sacked by La Scala over anorexia row

A leading ballerina has been sacked from Milan's La Scala for claiming that it turns out anorexic dancers and that colleagues are unable to have children.
The academy, which denies the accusations, said Mariafrancesca Garritano had damaged its image.
In an interview, the ballerina said she still suffered after being pressurised in the past to lose weight.
