00:00This is the highest potential severe weather that we will be tracking as we head into this evening.
00:04It's going to be across the northern plains.
00:06Here's an updated look at our AccuWeather exclusive storm zone.
00:08Large hail, damaging winds, flooding rainfall, and that elevated tornado threat will be possible across this region as we head throughout this evening and as we head throughout tonight.
00:16Look at our AccuWeather local storm max for wind gusts.
00:18We can see an isolated wind gust up to about 100 miles an hour.
00:2295 for our AccuWeather local storm max for a wind gust.
00:26Those are going to be the kind of winds we track here as we head into tonight.
00:28So power outages will be possible once again here across this region.
00:32Some showers and storms now starting to develop across the far western portion of the map.
00:36Future track radar is showing that as we head into this evening, these storms will continue to rapidly intensify as these storms cross the I-29 corridor right around 9 p.m. local central time.
00:46That's when we're really going to see that threat of severe weather really ramp up here.
00:50So as these storms are passing from west to east from I-29 to I-35 during the overnight hours, they are going to quickly and rapidly intensify.
00:58Take a look at the timeline here.
01:00Here's midnight tonight.
01:01You'll see these storms lining up from pretty much International Falls all the way down through Sioux Falls as well.
01:06And then once these storms cross the I-35 corridor around 3 a.m., that's when it looks like we're going to be watching out for once again those strong and damaging winds here across this region primarily.
01:16We'll also be watching out for some strong storms on the southern end of this storm zone in central parts of Nebraska.
01:22There's going to be some strong storms down there to track as well as we head into this evening.
01:26But then after that, as the sun comes up here for your early Saturday morning, we'll also be watching out for widespread rainfall, especially across parts of Minnesota or Wisconsin.
01:34I should say Wisconsin is going to see a wet start here for your early Saturday morning.
01:38So overall, Jeff, this is going to be one of those areas that we're continuing to track here, especially for that risk of severe weather heading into tonight.
