YS Jagan Nellore Tour - నెల్లూరులో హైటెన్షన్ వాతావరణం ఏర్పడింది. జగన్ పర్యటన నెపథ్యంలో జిల్లా వ్యాప్తంగా పోలీసులు 30 యాక్ట్ ను అమలు చేస్తున్నారు. వైఎస్సార్‌సీపీ నేత, మాజీ ఎమ్మెల్యే ప్రసన్నకుమార్‌రెడ్డి ఇంటి వద్ద పోలీసులు వైఎస్సార్‌సీపీ కార్యకర్తలు, ప్రజలపై లాఠీఛార్జ్‌ చేశారు. మహిళలు, వృద్ధులపైనా కూడా లాఠీఛార్జ్‌ చేశారు. పోలీసుల చర్యలకు నిరసనగా ప్రసన్నకుమార్‌రెడ్డి రోడ్డుపై బైఠాయించారు. పోలీసులు తోసివేయడంతో ఆయన చేతికి గాయమైంది. మహిళలను కూడా పోలీసులు చితకబాదారు. పోలీసుల తీరుపై వైఎస్సార్‌సీపీ ఆగ్రహం వ్యక్తం చేశారు. పోలీసులకు వ్యతిరేకంగా వైఎస్సార్‌సీపీ శ్రేణులు నినాదాలు చేశాయి. పోలీస్‌ జులుం నశించాలంటూ వైఎస్సార్‌సీపీ కార్యకర్తలు నినాదాలు చేశారు.
Tensions flared in Nellore during former CM YS. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s visit, prompting police to impose Section 30 across the district. A major incident unfolded near the residence of YSRCP leader and former MLA Prasanna Kumar Reddy, where police reportedly resorted to lathi-charge on YSRCP supporters, common citizens, women, and even the elderly.
In protest, Prasanna Kumar Reddy staged a sit-in on the road and suffered a hand injury after being allegedly manhandled by the police. Outraged by the incident, YSRCP workers raised strong slogans against police excesses, demanding justice and accountability.
