00:16what are your thoughts on the 4th State of the Nation address of President Ferdinand Bamba Marcos Jr.?
00:22Well, I think it's anon. It's very clear and at the same time, simply done.
00:26Direct to the point, straightforward, at yung mensahe, I think resonated well with the public
00:33in a language that is easy for them to understand.
00:37Walang masyadong pompous numbers, walang masyadong highfalutin words na ginamit.
00:42Just simple language, as if he is directly talking to an ordinary Filipino.
00:49And I think yun yung kagandaan na itong Sona.
00:51And sa panimula, may pagbanggit ang ating Pangulo regarding what he perceived was a shortcoming of the government,
00:59the perception of the general public regarding what he believes is medyo nagkaroon ng mga kakulangan sa gobyano.
01:06So may admission.
01:08And I think that symbolizes humility on his part.
01:11But at the same time, he also tried to second it with well-meaning reforms and some of the accomplishments
01:18from the previous year, particularly doon sa ating economy.
01:23Maganda yung numero, particularly doon sa mas mababa at mas manageable na inflation rate natin,
01:29which is right now at 1.3%.
01:31And I think maganda rin yung mga pinanggit niya na mga balak niyang gawin moving forward,
01:37particularly in the areas of disaster resilience, ganon din sa transportation, health, education, infrastructure, connectivity.
01:48I think these are all well-meaning programs.
01:51But we do hope sana na yung mga nakaraang zona niya, sana merong follow-through as to what among these promises were already fulfilled,
02:02alin dito yung nasa implementation phase pa lang, alin dito yung naisa katuparan na,
02:07so that may proper guidance ang publiko regarding what to expect in the forthcoming sonas of the President.
02:14I think yung anti-corruption stance siya ngayon, particularly with, number one, with the flood control projects,
02:30alam naman natin, I think dito makikita natin that the President is not detached from the day-to-day hardships of the people,
02:39especially ngayon na nandito tayo sa ganitong panahon, I think it's good that the President also pointed out
02:46that what he believed is a result of massive and orchestrated corruption,
02:54especially dito sa mga high-ranking officials ng gobyerno.
02:58And I think this is good because we are, you know, invested billions and billions of money for flood control
03:03only to realize later on that all of this is a failure at this point.
03:08So, I think maganda yun, ano, that he is risking, you know, his political capital and his allies, no, mainly.
03:17Kasi maaaring doon sa mismong bulwagan na yun, maaaring nandoon yung ilan sa mga sangkot dito, no,
03:22pero wala siyang pakaelam and I think this is good, ano.
03:25And sana nga mapanagot, sana magkaroon ng mas masusay at mas malalim niyong investigasyon,
03:31which will be laid down transparently to the public so that we will create better context of accountability.
03:39Because this is really important na malaman natin ano ba't punod dulo nito,
03:43bakit despite and in spite of the billions of pesos spent for this,
03:47we are still mired in the same problem, no, that is peringal, no.
03:52Every year naman, ganito yung nangyayari.
03:54Pero maganda na matutukan talaga niya ito ngayon.
03:56And then, another thing siguro yun sa budget, no, I think he really wants to instill fiscal discipline.
04:03And this is something also that he learned from last year's budget na talagang medyo nagkaroon ng mga issues and problems.
04:12Right now, he really wants to be on top of the situation.
04:14He really wants to execute it well.
04:17It has to be aligned with the National Expenditure Program.
04:20Wala siyang pakialam kahit na anong insertions ang ilalagay niyan.
04:26Basta yung gusto kong budget yun ang masusunod.
04:28I think this is also an anti-corrupt stance of the President, which I think is also good.

04:37Para sa inyo, kompleto yung naging talumpati ng pagulo o para po sa inyo,
04:42mayroong mga dapat pang nadescuss ang ating pagulo dun sa kanyang fourth sona?
04:46Well, walang masyado siyang nabanggit with regards to digital connectivity.

04:54Medyo nakulangan tayo roon sa digital divide.
04:57Medyo kulang din tayo patungkol dun sa OFWs.
05:00I think enough attention should have been given to the OFWs because they are our primary revenue generators.
05:09And yeah, a lot of things actually could have been included.
05:19Siguro, yung sa youth, medyo kinulang din ang ilang usapin tungkol sa kabataan.
05:26Pero siyempre hindi natin may kakaila that the President is doing this on a limited time.
05:32And so, maaaring may mga na-miss out, mga nakaligtaan, including yung inaabangan natin na prohibition or ban on illegal gambling, online gambling, was not mentioned also by the President.
05:46Pero sabi ni Prophet, tama yung sinabi ni Prophet, yung follow-through.
05:49Kasi after the speech, ano-ano yung mga kailangang hakbang na gawin para maramdaman talaga yung mga servisyo ng gobyerno na nabanggit ng ating pagulo.
05:58So, yung talagang ramdam ng sigmura ng mga Pilipina yung talagang tinatch ng ating Pangulo.
