00:00Presidential Communications Office Secretary Dave Gomez confirmed that PCO Undersecretary Claire Castro will retain her position as the Palace Press Officer.
00:11According to the PCO Secretary, Undersecretary Castro is doing a fine job in her position in the PCO.
00:18As the Palace Press Officer, her responsibilities include delivering official press briefings to the media
00:24and give clarifications to policies, activities and positions of the President as may be authorized.
00:31As of now, this is the only one appointment confirmed by the PCO in reshuffling of the departments
00:36after Secretary Gomez directed all the political appointees to submit their unqualified courtesy resignation.
00:44And more than that, the Secretary said that there will be no new appointees in the PCO at this time.
