00:00The Acting Secretary of the Presidential Communications Office, Cesar Chavez, has resigned.

00:06He thanked President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. for the opportunity to serve.

00:11That's what Kenneth Paciente reported.

00:16Cesar Chavez, the Acting Secretary of the Presidential Communications Office, resigned.

00:23In his statement, he admitted his irrevocable resignation on February 5, which was effective at the end of the month.

00:31In his departure from his post, he said one of the things he regretted was that he did not fully fulfill the things he expected from him.

00:39As a former acting secretary, Chavez insisted that he needs to make public the real reason for his resignation.

00:46He also admitted that ever since he served in the administration, he has always served in the best possible way.

00:54And now, he will leave with enthusiasm, gratitude, and hope for a brighter future for the country.

01:01However, he will continue to support the current administration as he continues his public service.

01:09He also thanked the President for the opportunity to serve, which is an honor for him because of the trust given by the executive branch.

01:16Although Malacanang has not confirmed yet, Chavez has already talked to the veteran journalist, J. Ruiz,

01:23and he said that he will introduce him to PCO Mancom on Monday as the start of the transition in his appointment as the secretary of the PCO.

01:32Chavez will really be remembered as the acting secretary of the PCO last September.

01:38He also served as the Undersecretary for Railways of the Transportation Department under Marcos Jr. Administration.
