00:00:00I pray that you help us to learn something from you tonight,

00:00:03particularly about what's happening in our world,

00:00:06that we may know the signs of the times,

00:00:08and we may know the hope that we have in the Messiah.

00:00:13And we thank you, Lord, that you have given us a future and a hope,

00:00:17and that nothing can separate us from the love of God,

00:00:19which is in Messiah Jesus our Lord.

00:00:22Amen.

00:00:24Amen.

00:00:24So, the last Sunday in the month, we're doing the This Month in Prophecy talk.

00:00:28I'm going to begin with some thoughts about what's happening in Israel and the Middle East,

00:00:34then some thoughts about what's happening in this country and our part of the world.

00:00:41So, as you probably know from coming to my talks,

00:00:44the events surrounding Israel and the Middle East are significant in the light of Bible prophecy.

00:00:51Some have called Israel the epicenter of prophetic events,

00:00:54and that the things which are happening in the last days

00:00:58center around the return of the Jewish people to the land of Israel.

00:01:04Told in the Scriptures that they'll return,

00:01:07implied in unbelief that they'll go through a time of trouble.

00:01:11When the nations round about will try to push them out of the land,

00:01:15make an end to the land of Israel.

00:01:17Psalm 83 speaks about a group of nations coming down from the north in Ezekiel 38 to 39.

00:01:25And then it's seeking to remove the people from the land.

00:01:28It speaks about global powers dividing up the land in Joel chapter 3 and verse 2.

00:01:35Jerusalem is a burdensome stone burdening all nations.

00:01:38In other words, the focal point of attention of the United Nations

00:01:41and the world events in Jerusalem in Zechariah chapter 12,

00:01:47leading to the events of the second coming, last battle, return of the Messiah,

00:01:52the end of what we call the times of the Gentiles,

00:01:55and the setting up of the Messianic kingdom from Jerusalem when Yeshua, the Messiah, returns.

00:02:03There's one passage I want to look at in a little bit of detail

00:02:07before we get into looking at what's happening at the present time.

00:02:10That's in Jeremiah chapter 30.

00:02:13If you go to Jeremiah 30,

00:02:16Jeremiah 30 and 31 are two chapters in the book of Jeremiah

00:02:20which form a unit on their own,

00:02:23particularly dealing with events which lead up to the last days

00:02:26and the events which will come, according to the Hebrew Scriptures,

00:02:31before the day of the Lord.

00:02:32In Jeremiah 30, verse 24, there's an interesting verse in Hebrew

00:02:38which says,

00:02:39which means in the last days you will consider it or understand it.

00:02:46So Jeremiah is focusing this passage in chapter 30 to 31

00:02:49on the last days of this age.

00:02:52And it begins with a passage about the return of the Jewish people.

00:02:56It ends actually with a statement in chapter 31 of the new covenant coming,

00:03:00a new covenant in which God is going to write his law in the hearts of people.

00:03:05They're going to know God, know that their sins are forgiven.

00:03:08And that points us actually to the new covenant

00:03:11which was made through the Messiah, Yeshua.

00:03:13And the implication is that in the end of days,

00:03:15then the Messiah himself is going to come back

00:03:18and restore Israel, not just physically,

00:03:21but also spiritually to God through faith in him.

00:03:25And Jeremiah 31 also implies that as long as the sun and the moon

00:03:28and the stars are shining in the sky,

00:03:30so long will Israel be a nation before me, says the Lord.

00:03:35In other words, no matter what happens in terms of dispersion

00:03:38of the Jewish people, of persecution, of attacks on the Jewish people,

00:03:42they're going to survive as a nation

00:03:43and eventually come back to their land.

00:03:46And indeed, one of the amazing stories of history actually

00:03:49is the dispersion of the Jewish people.

00:03:52And yet in dispersion, they haven't lost their identity.

00:03:55They've continued to be an identifiable people.

00:03:57They've kept their faith.

00:03:59They've kept together as a nation.

00:04:01And in our time, despite all of the things

00:04:04that are thrown against them from persecutions

00:04:06in the name of, unfortunately, Christianity,

00:04:09leading to the terrible events of the Holocaust,

00:04:12Jewish people have gone back to the land of Israel

00:04:13and it's been restored in the same land from which they came,

00:04:18speaking the same language,

00:04:20with the same capital, Jerusalem, in the land,

00:04:24which is all very remarkable if you look at history.

00:04:27History doesn't work like that.

00:04:30And it shows that God is at work in this people, in this event.

00:04:34But let's have a look at the verses from Jeremiah chapter 30.

00:04:37I'm going to read the first 11 verses of chapter 30.

00:04:41Comment on them.

00:04:43The word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord,

00:04:45saying, Thus speaks the Lord God of Israel,

00:04:47saying, Write in a book for yourself

00:04:49all the words that I have spoken to you.

00:04:51For behold, the days are coming, says the Lord,

00:04:53that I will bring back from captivity

00:04:54my people Israel and Judah, says the Lord.

00:04:58And I will cause them to return to the land

00:04:59that I gave to their fathers,

00:05:01and they shall possess it.

00:05:03Now these are the words that the Lord spoke

00:05:05concerning Israel and Judah,

00:05:06for thus says the Lord,

00:05:08we've heard a voice of trembling,

00:05:10of fear, and not of peace.

00:05:12Ask now and see whether a man is ever in labor with a child.

00:05:15So why do I see every man with his hands on his loins

00:05:18like a woman in labor,

00:05:20and all faces turn pale?

00:05:22Alas, for that day is great,

00:05:24so that none is like it,

00:05:25and it is the time of Jacob's trouble,

00:05:27but he shall be saved out of it.

00:05:29For it will come to pass in that day,

00:05:31says the Lord of hosts,

00:05:31that I will break his yoke from your neck

00:05:34and will burst your bonds.

00:05:36Foreigners shall no more enslave them,

00:05:37but they shall serve the Lord their God

00:05:39and David their king,

00:05:40whom I will raise up for them.

00:05:41Therefore do not fear, O my servant Jacob,

00:05:45says the Lord,

00:05:45nor be dismayed, O Israel,

00:05:46for behold, I will save you from afar

00:05:48and your seed from the land of their captivity.

00:05:51Jacob shall return,

00:05:53have rest and be quiet,

00:05:54and no one shall make him afraid.

00:05:56For I am with you,

00:05:57says the Lord,

00:05:57to save you,

00:05:58though I make a full end of all nations

00:06:00where I have scattered you,

00:06:01yet I will not make a complete end of you,

00:06:04but I will correct you in justice

00:06:05and will not go altogether unpunished.

00:06:08I'm not going to do a detailed study on that.

00:06:12I will do sometime

00:06:13because there's a lot you can get out

00:06:15of that particular passage,

00:06:16but just to bring out a few major points,

00:06:19it says here that there's going to be a return

00:06:21of the Jewish people.

00:06:22I'm going to bring back from captivity my people.

00:06:25I will cause them to return to the land

00:06:27that I gave to their fathers.

00:06:29They shall possess it.

00:06:31Ask yourself,

00:06:31who are the fathers?

00:06:32The fathers are Abraham,

00:06:34Isaac,

00:06:34and Jacob,

00:06:35with whom God made a covenant

00:06:36that he would give to the descendants of Abraham,

00:06:39Isaac,

00:06:40and Jacob,

00:06:40a multitude of descendants,

00:06:42as many as the stars in the heavens

00:06:43and the sand on the seashore.

00:06:45In other words,

00:06:46they would come out of Abraham's loins

00:06:48a people who would be identifiable

00:06:49and who would continue to be identifiable

00:06:52from generation to generation,

00:06:54even to a thousand generations.

00:06:56It says there that the Lord will keep his people

00:06:58to a thousand generations,

00:07:00which is,

00:07:01how many is that?

00:07:02About 30,000 years or more.

00:07:04Anyway,

00:07:04they're going to be preserved as a people.

00:07:07And also in chapter 15 of Genesis,

00:07:10God made a covenant with Abraham.

00:07:11He gave to him the title deeds of ownership

00:07:13upon which he was a stranger at that time.

00:07:16And he would renew that covenant

00:07:18with his son Isaac

00:07:19and with his grandson Jacob.

00:07:22So the covenant would go through Abraham,

00:07:24Isaac,

00:07:24and Jacob.

00:07:25Not through Abraham's other son,

00:07:27Ishmael.

00:07:28Not through Isaac's other son,

00:07:30Ishmael,

00:07:31but through Abraham,

00:07:32Isaac,

00:07:33and Jacob.

00:07:33So that's the covenant

00:07:35which God made with the fathers.

00:07:37And we know that this

00:07:38has actually come to pass.

00:07:40And remarkably,

00:07:41we've seen it happen in our time

00:07:42that the Jewish people

00:07:43have been scattered to the nations

00:07:44and in our time

00:07:45have gone back to the land of Israel,

00:07:48rebuilt the ancient cities.

00:07:50So you have Tel Aviv,

00:07:51Beersheba,

00:07:51and of course Jerusalem

00:07:53and other ancient cities

00:07:54from the Bible

00:07:55being rebuilt

00:07:56in modern times.

00:07:58And we see the Jewish people

00:08:00back in the land

00:08:00speaking the language

00:08:01which they spoke,

00:08:02Hebrew,

00:08:03and back in the land

00:08:05and in the land

00:08:08that God gave to their fathers.

00:08:11Chapter 4,

00:08:12verse 4,

00:08:12it goes on to say

00:08:13that God is going to speak

00:08:14concerning Israel and Judah.

00:08:16And here he speaks

00:08:17about some less good news.

00:08:18He says they're going to hear

00:08:19a voice of trembling,

00:08:20of fear and not of peace.

00:08:23Implication is

00:08:23they may be looking for peace,

00:08:25but instead of peace

00:08:25you have a time of fear

00:08:27and of trembling.

00:08:28And this is going to be so great

00:08:30that it would be like

00:08:31a man being in labor

00:08:32with child.

00:08:34And why do I see

00:08:35every man with his hands

00:08:36on his loins

00:08:36like a woman in labor

00:08:37and all faces turn pale?

00:08:40If you follow through

00:08:41Bible prophecy

00:08:41you'll see that the image

00:08:42of the woman in labor

00:08:44is one which is used

00:08:45frequently in scriptures

00:08:46of the end of days,

00:08:48the troubles which come

00:08:49upon the end of days.

00:08:51I've said this before,

00:08:52but when a woman

00:08:52goes into labor

00:08:53she experiences

00:08:54a series of shocks

00:08:55which are contractions

00:08:56which become more and more

00:08:57intense

00:08:58nearer she gets

00:08:59to the birth of the child.

00:09:00And once that process

00:09:01has begun

00:09:02it can't be reversed

00:09:03until the child is born.

00:09:06And so when you see

00:09:07a certain sequence

00:09:08of events taking place

00:09:09which are painful events

00:09:11which become more intense

00:09:12and become more frequent

00:09:14as they get nearer

00:09:15to the birth of the child

00:09:16then you know

00:09:17that the end time sequence

00:09:19is taking place.

00:09:21Doesn't only apply

00:09:22to Israel actually.

00:09:23Jesus referred to this passage

00:09:24as well in Matthew 24

00:09:25so there are certain events

00:09:26taking place

00:09:27in the nations

00:09:28which will correspond

00:09:28to this.

00:09:29And you see that

00:09:30they are taking place

00:09:31in our time as well.

00:09:35It says also

00:09:36be a time of trouble

00:09:37that is great

00:09:38so that none is like it.

00:09:40It is the time

00:09:41of Jacob's trouble

00:09:41but he shall be saved

00:09:42out of it.

00:09:44Again a time of trouble

00:09:45with none like it.

00:09:47You have that phrase

00:09:48similar phrase

00:09:49in the book of Daniel

00:09:50chapter 12

00:09:51concerning the end of days

00:09:53and in Jesus' own prophecy

00:09:54in Matthew 24

00:09:55where he speaks about

00:09:56a time of great tribulation

00:09:57unlike any that has been before

00:09:59nor ever shall be

00:10:00and unless God

00:10:01cut short those days

00:10:02no flesh will be saved

00:10:03but for the sake

00:10:04of his elect

00:10:05he will cut short

00:10:06those days.

00:10:07So there is going to be

00:10:08at this time of trouble

00:10:09and that's the bad news

00:10:11which people don't want to hear

00:10:11but it's in the Bible

00:10:12that there's going to be

00:10:13a time of trouble

00:10:14as we get nearer

00:10:15to the end of days

00:10:16and if God didn't

00:10:17cut short

00:10:17then it would be

00:10:18the end of life

00:10:19on earth

00:10:20and the implication also

00:10:21is it would be

00:10:22the end of Israel

00:10:23if God didn't cut short

00:10:24this time.

00:10:25So God is going to do

00:10:25something to save

00:10:27his people

00:10:27out of the time of trouble

00:10:29and we read on

00:10:30in chapter 30

00:10:32it speaks about

00:10:32the Lord breaking

00:10:34the yoke from off

00:10:34your neck

00:10:35bursting your bonds

00:10:36foreigners shall no more

00:10:37enslave them.

00:10:38So the source of trouble

00:10:40is going to be

00:10:40from the non-Jewish world

00:10:42from the opposition

00:10:43to Israel

00:10:43and God's going to

00:10:45break the oppression

00:10:46which is over them

00:10:47and set them free

00:10:48and in the end

00:10:49they're going to

00:10:50serve the Lord

00:10:50their God

00:10:50and David

00:10:51their king

00:10:51whom I will

00:10:52raise up for them.

00:10:54So the end result

00:10:55of this intervention

00:10:56of God

00:10:56is to bring the people

00:10:58to the point

00:10:59of worshipping

00:11:00the Lord

00:11:00their God

00:11:01and worshipping

00:11:02David their king

00:11:03no, not worshipping

00:11:04King David

00:11:05but I think

00:11:06that David their king

00:11:07is a type

00:11:08of the Messiah

00:11:09and Jewish people

00:11:11speak about

00:11:11Mashiach

00:11:12ben David

00:11:13Messiah

00:11:13son of David

00:11:14also speak about

00:11:15Mashiach

00:11:16ben Yosef

00:11:16Messiah

00:11:17son of Joseph

00:11:17and those two

00:11:19expressions of the Messiah

00:11:21actually correspond

00:11:22to two comings

00:11:23of the Messiah

00:11:24in the Hebrew scriptures

00:11:25in the Bible

00:11:26you have prophecies

00:11:27concerning the coming

00:11:28of the Messiah

00:11:29Isaiah 53

00:11:30which speaks about

00:11:31a suffering servant

00:11:32Messiah

00:11:32one upon whom

00:11:33the Lord would lay

00:11:33the iniquity of us all

00:11:35he'd be wounded

00:11:36for our transgressions

00:11:37bruised for our iniquities

00:11:38chastisement

00:11:39of our peace

00:11:40would be upon him

00:11:40be despised

00:11:42and rejected of men

00:11:43a man of sorrows

00:11:43acquainted with grief

00:11:44and the Lord

00:11:45would lay upon him

00:11:46the iniquity

00:11:47of us all

00:11:48that prophecy

00:11:49of course

00:11:49applies to

00:11:50Yeshua

00:11:51Jesus the Messiah

00:11:52it's already happened

00:11:53Jesus fulfilled

00:11:55Isaiah 53

00:11:55to the letter

00:11:56in all its details

00:11:58and in his death

00:12:00and resurrection

00:12:01he provided the

00:12:02necessary atonement

00:12:03for the sin

00:12:05of humanity

00:12:05whether you're Jewish

00:12:06or Gentile

00:12:06all of us

00:12:07fall short of the glory

00:12:08of God

00:12:09all of us need

00:12:10a atoning sacrifice

00:12:11and Jesus himself

00:12:12provided that sacrifice

00:12:14through his death

00:12:15and resurrection

00:12:16following his resurrection

00:12:18remained on the earth

00:12:20for 40 days

00:12:21for departing

00:12:23sending to heaven

00:12:24and sending out

00:12:26the disciples

00:12:26with the commission

00:12:27to take the gospel

00:12:27into all the world

00:12:29and we're now living

00:12:30in the time

00:12:31since the first coming

00:12:33of Jesus

00:12:33when the gospel

00:12:33is going out

00:12:34for salvation

00:12:35to the nations

00:12:36of the world

00:12:37and the fact

00:12:38that we are here

00:12:39a group of

00:12:41some Jewish people

00:12:42but mainly non-Jewish

00:12:43believing in Jesus

00:12:44is a sign of the truth

00:12:46of the message

00:12:46of the gospel

00:12:47here we are

00:12:47nearly 2,000 years later

00:12:49amongst the people

00:12:52scattered all over the world

00:12:53in great multitudes

00:12:54who believe

00:12:55the gospel

00:12:56that Jesus

00:12:56is the Messiah

00:12:57who died

00:12:58and rose again

00:12:59from the dead

00:12:59praise the Lord

00:13:01and the implication

00:13:02of this scripture

00:13:03is that ultimately

00:13:04Israel itself

00:13:06is also going to come

00:13:07to recognize

00:13:08Mashiach

00:13:09Messiah

00:13:10in the person

00:13:11of Yeshua

00:13:12when he comes

00:13:13the second time

00:13:14coming this time

00:13:15as Mashiach

00:13:15ben David

00:13:16Messiah

00:13:16son of David

00:13:17and the implication

00:13:18of coming as Messiah

00:13:19son of David

00:13:20is going to rule

00:13:21and reign

00:13:21as David reigned

00:13:22as a king

00:13:24ruling over

00:13:25the world

00:13:25in the New Testament

00:13:27he's described

00:13:27as king of kings

00:13:28and lord of lords

00:13:29with all the power

00:13:30of God

00:13:30at his disposal

00:13:31and in Revelation

00:13:33it tells us

00:13:33that when Jesus

00:13:34comes again

00:13:34the kingdoms

00:13:35of this world

00:13:35will become

00:13:36the kingdom

00:13:37of our God

00:13:37and of his Messiah

00:13:38and he shall reign

00:13:39forever and ever

00:13:40so there's going to be

00:13:42a return of the Messiah

00:13:43this time

00:13:44not coming as

00:13:45a suffering servant

00:13:46this time coming

00:13:47as the all-powerful

00:13:48reigning king Messiah

00:13:50with all the power

00:13:51of God

00:13:51to bring in

00:13:52the messianic kingdom

00:13:53according to the

00:13:55scriptures

00:13:55the prophetic scriptures

00:13:56when he comes again

00:13:57he'll bring an end

00:13:58to the war

00:13:59there'll be no more

00:14:00wars and desolations

00:14:01the nations will beat

00:14:02their swords into plowshares

00:14:03and also their

00:14:04horrible weapons

00:14:05of tanks and missiles

00:14:06and drones

00:14:07and all the other

00:14:07ridiculous stuff

00:14:09that they built

00:14:09and cause the nations

00:14:11to live at peace

00:14:12with each other

00:14:12and not study war

00:14:13anymore

00:14:14and the Bible says

00:14:16that Jesus will reign

00:14:17from Jerusalem

00:14:18come back to Jerusalem

00:14:19come back to the

00:14:21Mount of Olives

00:14:21then set up his

00:14:22kingdom from Jerusalem

00:14:23which maybe

00:14:25or is

00:14:26the reason why

00:14:27Jerusalem is such

00:14:28a hot spot

00:14:29in the world today

00:14:30because

00:14:31not only does God

00:14:33tell us this

00:14:33the devil also knows this

00:14:35and he wants to stop

00:14:35this from happening

00:14:36which is why you have

00:14:37all the action

00:14:38over the status

00:14:40of Jerusalem

00:14:40and because the

00:14:43outcome is a good one

00:14:45for Israel

00:14:45God tells Israel

00:14:46not to fear

00:14:47not to be dismayed

00:14:48because I will save you

00:14:49from afar

00:14:49from your seed

00:14:50and your seed

00:14:52from the land

00:14:52of your captivity

00:14:53Jacob shall return

00:14:54have rest

00:14:55and be quiet

00:14:56and no one

00:14:57shall make him afraid

00:14:58now clearly

00:14:59we're not in that time yet

00:15:00people

00:15:02Jewish people

00:15:03are back in the land

00:15:04but they are very much

00:15:05afraid of what's coming

00:15:06so something's going to

00:15:07have to happen

00:15:07to change that situation

00:15:09and in fact

00:15:10Jewish people

00:15:11here in the diaspora

00:15:12are afraid of

00:15:12the growing anti-semitism

00:15:14and the hostility

00:15:15which they're facing

00:15:16because of the

00:15:17world situation

00:15:18and because of the

00:15:19way in which

00:15:20hatred of Israel

00:15:21is being stirred up

00:15:22in our nation today

00:15:24but there's a time

00:15:25coming when God

00:15:26is going to cause them

00:15:27to return

00:15:28and to have rest

00:15:29and be quiet

00:15:30and no one

00:15:30will make them afraid

00:15:31because the Lord

00:15:32is going to save you

00:15:33he says

00:15:34though I make

00:15:35a full end

00:15:35of all nations

00:15:36where I've scattered

00:15:36to you

00:15:37I will not make

00:15:37a complete end

00:15:38of you

00:15:38so God promises

00:15:40he's going to

00:15:41bring a resolution

00:15:43to this issue

00:15:45about the status

00:15:46of Israel

00:15:47and the Jewish people

00:15:48which will cause

00:15:49them to continue

00:15:50as a people

00:15:51identifiable

00:15:51and going to

00:15:54be blessed

00:15:56by the Lord

00:15:57and saved

00:15:57but just one thing

00:16:00we do have to notice

00:16:00in verse 11

00:16:01at the end

00:16:01it says

00:16:02I will correct

00:16:02you in justice

00:16:03and not let you

00:16:04go altogether

00:16:04unpunished

00:16:05so there's something

00:16:07which God

00:16:07is going to correct

00:16:08in Israel

00:16:09in this end time

00:16:11period

00:16:11now you could say

00:16:14there are a lot of

00:16:14things which Israel

00:16:15needs correcting for

00:16:16a lot of people

00:16:18criticize Israel

00:16:19for the way

00:16:20they treat the

00:16:20Palestinians

00:16:21criticize them

00:16:22for the fact

00:16:23that it's a

00:16:23secular state

00:16:24criticize it

00:16:26for the fact

00:16:26that it's a

00:16:27religious state

00:16:27and the religious

00:16:28don't always do

00:16:28what they should do

00:16:29as far as God

00:16:30is concerned

00:16:30so you can find

00:16:31lots of things

00:16:31wrong with Israel

00:16:32lots of things

00:16:33which God

00:16:33needs to correct

00:16:34but there's one

00:16:36fundamental thing

00:16:36which God

00:16:37wants to correct

00:16:37not just in the

00:16:39land of Israel

00:16:40but in the

00:16:40dispersion

00:16:42in the Jewish

00:16:42people all over

00:16:43the world

00:16:44and that is

00:16:45the identity

00:16:46of the Messiah

00:16:47and God

00:16:49wants to correct

00:16:50Israel

00:16:50from not accepting

00:16:52Yeshua as the Messiah

00:16:53to accepting

00:16:54Yeshua as the Messiah

00:16:55if you look in

00:16:57Jechariah chapter 12

00:16:58it speaks about

00:16:58the time of

00:16:59Jerusalem being

00:17:00the burdensome stone

00:17:01burdening all nations

00:17:02and it says

00:17:03at that time

00:17:03they're going to

00:17:04look upon me

00:17:04whom they have

00:17:05pierced

00:17:06and mourn for him

00:17:07as for an only son

00:17:08and grieve for him

00:17:10and you could ask

00:17:12yourself

00:17:12who is one

00:17:12who has been

00:17:13pierced

00:17:13who came as

00:17:15an only son

00:17:16and following that

00:17:18it says that

00:17:18there's a fountain

00:17:19going to be open

00:17:19for sin

00:17:20and for uncleanness

00:17:21don't have to be

00:17:23a great theologian

00:17:24to work out

00:17:25that that applies

00:17:26to Yeshua

00:17:26Yeshua

00:17:27is the only son

00:17:28he was pierced

00:17:30he was wounded

00:17:30for our transgressions

00:17:31and as we look

00:17:32to him

00:17:32in repentance

00:17:33and faith

00:17:34our sins are forgiven

00:17:35and the fountain

00:17:36is opened

00:17:36for cleansing

00:17:39from sin

00:17:39and for righteousness

00:17:41and following that

00:17:42according to Zechariah 14

00:17:44the nations will gather

00:17:44together against

00:17:45Jerusalem to battle

00:17:46and then Jesus

00:17:48will return

00:25:05people view Israel

00:25:07as a terrorist

00:25:08state as a state

00:25:10committing atrocities

00:25:12committing genocide

00:25:13and causing famine

00:25:15in the land of

00:25:16Israel

00:25:17amongst the

00:25:18Gazans

00:25:18I'm just going to

00:25:20read a part of an

00:25:21article from the

00:25:22Jewish news service

00:25:23JNS

00:25:25it says

00:25:26pictures of starving

00:25:27children are horrifying

00:25:28and motivate

00:25:29decent people to do

00:25:31anything to relieve

00:25:31their suffering

00:25:32this sentiment is

00:25:34driving the current

00:25:35diplomatic offensive

00:25:36against Israel

00:25:37in which much of

00:25:38Europe is demanding

00:25:39that the Jewish

00:25:39state end the war

00:25:40against Hamas

00:25:41on virtually any

00:25:42terms in order to

00:25:43stop the suffering

00:25:44of Gazans

00:25:45the food crisis

00:25:46has been manufactured

00:25:47by Hamas

00:25:48through tactics

00:25:49designed to hijack

00:25:50and or obstruct

00:25:51the delivery of

00:25:52supplies to those

00:25:53Gazans who needed

00:25:54them

00:25:54this succeeded in

00:25:56increasing sympathy

00:25:57for the Palestinian

00:25:58criticism of Israel

00:25:59it's important to

00:26:02understand what

00:26:02created the food

00:26:03shortage in Gaza

00:26:04contrary to the

00:26:06misleading stories in

00:26:07the corporate media

00:26:08it's not because

00:26:08Israel is preventing

00:26:10food from getting

00:26:11into Gaza

00:26:11or because of a

00:26:13mythical effort to

00:26:14perpetuate a genocide

00:26:54aid trucks into Gaza

00:26:56but the plain fact is

00:26:57that as repeatedly has

00:26:59been the case since

00:26:59the conflict began

00:27:00more than 900 trucks

00:27:02packed with supplies

00:27:03intended for needy

00:27:04Palestinians have

00:27:05already entered Gaza

00:27:06and are in the hands

00:27:07of the UN

00:27:08yet their contents are

00:27:10not being distributed

00:27:11something verified by

00:27:12the press

00:27:13Israel has offered

00:27:14the world body

00:27:15five different routes

00:27:16for the distribution

00:27:17of the food

00:27:18though none have

00:27:19been accepted

00:27:19or acted upon

00:27:20the Gaza

00:27:25the organization

00:27:26created by the

00:33:52need to know

00:33:52is that radical

00:33:53Islamists

00:33:53in Syria

00:33:54today are

00:33:55carrying out

00:33:56a program

00:33:57of slaughtering

00:33:58minorities

00:33:58the Alawites

00:34:00including the

00:34:00Christians

00:34:01and I watched

00:34:02a film which

00:34:03showed the

00:34:04things that

00:34:04were taking

00:34:05place in

00:34:05southern Syria

00:34:06and it was

00:34:07absolutely atrocious

00:34:08I did think

00:34:08about showing it

00:34:09but it was so

00:34:09brutal and so

00:34:10horrifying that I

00:34:11decided not to

00:34:12beheadings

00:34:14children taken

00:34:15away from their

00:34:16babies taken

00:34:17away from their

00:34:17parents

00:34:18parents slaughtered

00:34:19whole Christian

00:34:20family taken

00:34:21away and

00:34:21slaughtered

00:34:22most atrocious

00:34:24and violent

00:34:25and wicked

00:34:25things taking

00:34:26place there

00:34:27and as they're

00:34:28doing these

00:34:28atrocious things

00:34:29they're shouting

00:34:30Allahu Akbar

00:34:31Allah is great

00:34:32and it's just

00:34:36absolutely horrendous

00:34:37what's taking

00:34:37place there

00:34:38I think that

00:34:41some 300

00:34:41people have

00:34:42been killed

00:34:42houses have

00:34:43been destroyed

00:34:44burning and

00:34:45looting of

00:34:45civilian houses

00:34:46and Israel

00:34:47intervened in

00:34:49support of the

00:34:50Druids

00:34:50it launched

00:34:51dozens of

00:34:51airstrikes on

00:34:52convoys of

00:34:53government forces

00:34:53in southern

00:34:54Syria and on

00:34:55government

00:34:55facilities in

00:34:56Damascus

00:34:57in fact the

00:34:58film I said

00:34:59Christian family

00:35:01in Syria

00:35:02who were

00:35:04actually in the

00:35:04process of

00:35:05being killed

00:35:07by the

00:35:07Islamists

00:35:08and the

00:35:10mother

00:35:11mother and

00:35:13father with

00:35:13two children

00:35:14the mother

00:35:15got down on

00:35:15her knees

00:35:16and started

00:35:16praying out

00:35:18loud

00:35:18father said

00:35:19don't pray

00:35:20it's going to

00:35:20make things

00:35:20even worse

00:35:21she carried

00:35:22on praying

00:35:22and as she

00:35:23was praying

00:35:24a missile

00:35:24came over

00:35:25from Israel

00:35:25and landed

00:35:28just near them

00:35:28and the

00:35:29jihadis fled

00:35:30and they were

00:35:32saved and

00:35:33they were set

00:35:33free

00:35:33so that was

00:35:35amazing

00:35:35so Israel

00:35:35actually did

00:35:39just

00:35:40reminded you

00:35:42these forces

00:35:49in Damascus

00:35:51Syrian army

00:35:54the fighting

00:35:57were actually

00:35:57sent by the

00:35:58government

00:36:52which helped

00:36:53to get this

00:36:54government

00:36:54into power

00:36:55and Turkey

00:36:56is more and

00:36:57more involved

00:36:57in Syria

00:36:59and according

00:37:00to some people

00:37:01actually the

00:37:02leading of the

00:37:02war of Gog

00:37:03and Magog

00:37:03is not going

00:37:04to be from

00:37:04Russia

00:37:04it's going

00:37:04to be from

00:37:05Turkey

00:37:05now I hold

00:37:08one but it

00:37:08is possible

00:37:09and you see

00:37:10now Turkey
