00:00it's one of those upbringings where we had the outside toilet with the tin bath hanging on the
00:04wall and my mother was very house proud it's all lovely but my dad brought home not just a skipping
00:09rope it was rope that was used for sash cord windows so it was heavier and that was hung on
00:15a nail outside oh i was so good at skipping because it had weight oh i think of all because
00:20you could do so much with it have so much fun and the other thing was a pen knife because
00:26we used to get bits of water and whittle them bake-a-lite train you won't know what bake-a-lite
00:33is it's one of the first forms of plastic it was very hard and would break very easily but there's
00:38bake-a-lite training pushing around the floor and my dad for his sins would put cigarette in it to
00:46create the smoke coming out of the chimney stacks that's one i remember a lot and i've also got a
00:53steam engine and i've still got it but i don't use it anymore because i fear it might blow up
