00:34The US, China, and Malaysia, which is the current chair of ASEAN, have offered to facilitate dialogue,
00:39but Bangkok is seeking a bilateral solution to the conflict.
00:43Thai foreign ministry spokesman, Nikon Dejbal and Kura, said Thailand does not need any mediation
00:48from a third country yet, Reuters reported.
00:51Cambodia and Thailand accused each other of starting the conflict early yesterday at a disputed site,
00:57which quickly escalated from small arms fire to heavy shelling along a border where
01:02sovereignty has been disputed for more than a century.
01:05Nikon Dej said the Cambodian side must stop violence along the border first.
