00:00Alright, we have some news just coming in.
00:02This is the Chief Election Commissioner, Gyanesh Kumar's big defense of the Bihar Poll Survey.
00:07The poll body chief warns against fake voters.
00:10Pure voter list must for fair elections, is what he says.
00:14CC Gyanesh defends purging non-existent voters.
00:19It's a big message to RJD, Congress and the Voter Survey war.
00:23With the Chief Election Commissioner warning against fake voters
00:27asserting that a pure, transparent voter list is essential for fair elections
00:31and the protection of India's democracy.
00:34It's questioned whether the Election Commission should bow down to pressures
00:38and allow dead, migrated, duplicate of foreign voters to remain on the rules,
00:43stressing that the time has come for all citizens to think beyond politics
00:48and uphold the Constitution.
00:54It's a strong message there from the CEC.
00:57The Chief Election Commissioner of India talking about the fact that the clean-up
01:01was much, much required.
01:03He's also urged citizens to think beyond politics and uphold the Indian Constitution.
01:09It's a big message to several members of the opposition who are opposing the Bihar election
01:15revision role to the nail.
01:17He says, or questions, whether the Election Commission should now bow down to pressures of this kind
01:24and allow dead, migrated, duplicate of foreign voters to remain on roads.
01:30Amit Bhardwaj is getting in more.
01:31Amit, a big message there from the Chief Election Commissioner
01:34saying that the Election Commission has to uphold the Indian Constitution
01:38and can't really bow down to pressures of this kind.
01:42Absolutely right, Sneha.
01:44You know, and this particular message is coming right a day after, rather,
01:49barely 12 hours after,
01:52Deja Sri Yadavu is leader of opposition in Bihar
01:54and is also the leader of the most prominent opposition party in Bihar, RGD.
02:01He, in a way, indicated at the idea that's being pondered upon
02:06of by-causing the upcoming Bihar election.
02:09So, obviously, that particular statement was being looked into
02:12the spectrum of pressure tactics that's being done
02:16to pressurize the Election Commission on the issue of SIR.
02:20And now you have a very straight, you know, message coming from the CEC,
02:24Gyanesh Kumar in this context,
02:26saying that should the Election Commission bow down
02:29to the pressure of pressure while it, you know,
02:34only wants to make the entire process even more transparent.
02:39And Gyanesh Kumar, in fact, is asking two prominent questions.
02:43Number one, you know, should the Election Commission
02:45not precise to actually weed out the double voters
02:50or the fake voters or voters who have died,
02:53as well as the foreigners who have been able to get
02:57effect ID in India.
03:00So, is that cleaning process and transparent cleaning process
03:03not necessary?
03:04Number one, number two, number two.
03:05Bivada Samit, I'll come back to you for more on that.
03:08I'm going to go straight across to RGD's Mrithun Jai Tiwari.
03:10Shukriya India Today
05:51मनिकम टेगर of the Congress party is also with us,
05:54मनिकम टेगर, thank you for your time,
05:56how do you respond to what has been said by the Chief Election Commissioner,
05:59that everybody should be working towards upholding the constitution,
06:03you'd have the same argument that there is very little time for this entire process,
06:07and that's where you oppose,
06:08but in principle you are okay with S.I.R.
06:13The problem with Mr. Gyanneesha saying is that
06:16he is the largest master of the position to the constitution,
06:19and he is a member of the system that
06:21if bad people have voted in 24.4,
06:27it is very believable for the election commissioners.
06:33We have a bad line with मनिकम टेगर,
06:36we'll try and rectify that connection
06:38for our viewers,
06:39I apologize for that,
06:40but this is the opposition responding to what the Chief Election Commissioner
06:44has now said,
06:46warning against fake voters,
06:48saying that those who migrated or have passed away
06:50over a period of time,
06:52or foreign nationals,
06:53duplicate voters,
06:54they should not be figuring on the poll list,
06:57it's a clean up,
06:58the opposition says we are okay in principle,
07:00but the timing of this is suspect,
07:03and also,
07:04there should have been more time given to this entire exercise,
07:07is what the opposition is now saying.
07:19More news coming in,
07:20we have a JDU MP who is recounting difficulty in Bihar's SIR process,
07:25it took 10 days to complete this for my family,
07:28JDU MP says,
07:30doubtful over my son's name in the voter role,
07:34Giridh Hari says,
07:35I face difficulty as an MP,
07:37may be tougher for citizens,
07:39will people quit farming and finish SIR,
07:41SIR is what the JDU now is saying.
07:44SIR and SIR,
07:47you were all built in SIR,
07:48how long did you live for your family,
07:50you did have the time of the time?
07:53You told me,
07:54it's been 10 days later,
07:55it was the first of all,
07:56the first day in Bihar,
07:58one month,
08:00we took the FOM to order for Bielo and not,
08:03and we took it to Delhi,
08:04and signed on it,
08:05and then took it,
08:06and said that we are not close to Delhi,
08:08to Delhi,
08:09and after we took it,
08:10we took it,
08:10we took it,
08:11foreign
08:25foreign
08:39all right so you heard that from a jdu mp essentially saying it's not an easy exercise
09:04it's so tough for a man for an mp think about citizens in general how difficult it would be
09:10for them is what he's told india today's amit vantwaj will people quit farming stop doing the
09:15work and sit down and fill the form and complete the sir process is the question that the jdu mp is
09:21asking interesting given that the jdu and the bjp are in government in the state the bjp government
09:29in favor of the election role is now having its own ally question it i'm doubtful over my son's name
09:36in the electoral role is what a jdu mp has said the opposition has been opposing this tooth and nail
09:43questioning either timing of it and also the time given to this entire exercise is extremely less
09:49is what they said
09:59political showdown over electoral role revision in bihar continues to escalate a fresh electoral
10:04storm is brewing over opposition raising questions and objections over the revision of poll roles
10:10in the state of poll-bound bihar india bloc is planning a full-fledged protest in parliament
10:16accusing the election commission of facilitating voter fraud bihar leader of the opposition rjd leader
10:22they just be yadav who has threatened a possible boycott of the bihar election said will this
10:28starts boycotting the polls with allies the bjp is hit by card accusing tejasvi of fearing defeat and
10:35making baseless claims further predicting rgd's poll end or political end after bihar elections meanwhile
10:42government sources have said electoral role is the bold bodies domain not percenters and that no
10:48discussion will be held in parliament on this issue sire jo prakriya hori howpko is cover road day
10:57hey sire cover road record they can joke prakriya jo pardishita hori chahiye imandari say nishpak choker

13:21We have more news coming in. Let's take a look at these developments.
13:36This is BJP's Big Defense, a Bihar poll survey.
13:41Ghost voters must be purged, says the Saffron Party.
13:45BJP is rubbish. RGD Congress vote no charge.
13:48Survey war is an ongoing one, as we've seen.
13:52RGD could be boycotting elections, is what they've interacted.
14:18If you want to call it, you should call it one, two, two, three.
14:23we data bho kum karke
14:25minus karke tb
14:27bolna chahiye
14:28tisra yye
14:29ki jin logon ne apna pata dya tha
14:32ki hem is patay par rahate hai
14:33aur hem bharat ke nagri
14:34aur us pata par woh admi
14:37rahata hi nahi
14:38iska matlab hai
14:40ki na to woha ka asthaniyah nivasi hai
14:42na us gowon ke mahalye ke loog
14:44usko jantay
14:45to iisse loog bhi karibe karibe 1,00,00,00
14:48loog hai
14:48humara yye kahna hai
14:50ki jab hum data bolte hai
14:52toh data bolne ke baad
14:55humko un sab teen chij ko minus kar deena chahiye
14:57us par koji sawal khara nini karna chahiye
15:00all right so now the bjp of course
15:04has retraded the charge that it is making
15:06that rjd and the opposition collectively are fearing a poll defeat
15:10charges of bias are unfair
15:12and there are ghost voters that have to be
15:15removed from the poll list
15:17and that's the reason why this exercise is important
15:20i'm going to go across to amit bardhwaj for more details on that story
15:25amit it's interesting and i'm going to ask you about what
15:27a jdomp has told you talking about the difficulties
15:30in finishing the exercise you really sounded like somebody from the opposition
15:35saying that we're okay in principle but this is problematic
15:38and time taken and that's the reason why more time should have been given
15:41isn't it
15:43absolutely right sneha you know and remember this is a bjp ally
15:50mp from janita dal united and not also first timer
15:54he is a seasoned politician from baka constituency of bihar
15:59and he is saying that it took him 10 days several visits to the national capital
16:03back and forth between national capital and bihar
16:06in order to ensure that the sir process for his family is completed
16:09so for instance he said that i had to come back to the national capital
16:13get signature of my wife my daughter
16:16when i went back the bill was not available the photographs were required
16:20so it took me a couple of rounds between delhi and bihar
16:23along with that he's also saying for his son he had to write in the signature column
16:29lives in united states lives in america because uh you know he's not here
16:35and hence election commission of india should have given at least six months of time
16:39to complete this exercise of sir it's an extensive exercise
16:43and he's also doubtful about his own son's fate as far as electoral role is concerned
16:48he's saying that look i've filled the form given it to the election commission of india
16:52but i do not know whether his name will be featuring in the electoral roles or not
16:56and by saying that he's also putting out a message that look
17:00if a seasoned mp like me is facing so many difficulties in completing the exercise of sir
17:07uh you know just imagine the kind of problem that common voters might be facing
17:12and it is the election commission's responsibility to ensure that every rightful voter get uh you know
17:18have the right of casting the vote and in fact he is also pointing out the uh at the fact the timing
17:24the problem with the timing is saying that look this is the timing of rain and during monsoon
17:29bihar usually faces a flood like situation how do you force people to come up you know gather their
17:36documents uh put them together uh to complete the sir exercise when the threat of floods could be looming
17:41large number one number two it's also the sowing season for farmers in bihar so you are putting them
17:47to put their entire resource together in this particular issue sir to get their documents
17:53together and he's also pointing out that this is going to impact the dalit voters as well as the
17:59tribal voters who live in bihar basically those from the lower economic strata and uh you know
18:04socially backward classes uh because they usually do not have the habit of keeping the documents
18:10together so it's going to have a huge impact on them as well moreover he's saying that timing is wrong
18:16there should have been a longer timing to carry out this particular exercise along with that he's
18:21also saying uh that uh you know uh after loksaba election there was enough ample time to carry out
18:27this particular exercise uh but now that elections around the corner uh this is certainly not the time
18:33to carry out this sir exercise in fact he is proposing the idea of holding a discussion on the
18:40issue in the parliament while you have the uh you know and the other nda uh parties of the bjp for
18:45instance saying that uh look uh this is a issue related to the election commission of india their
18:50own allies mp jdu mp saying that we must have our discussion on this particular issue on sir in the
18:57parliament sneha
18:58amit i'm going to leave it at that for the moment we'll of course keep coming back to you
19:04expecting that matter to once again play out in parliament with the government making it clear
19:09this is not in our purview and this isn't something that we are discussing
19:13meanwhile india today's rajdeep sardasai spoke to rjdmp manod jao on the electoral roll revision issue
19:22let's take a listen i appreciate your joining us mr jao a bit of a flutter being created by your leader
19:28teja sardasai suggesting that uh boycotting the elections can also be considered are you serious
19:36is the rjd serious that it will consider boycotting the elections because of the special intensive
19:42revision being carried out by the election commission radeep don't look at this statement
19:49uh in isolation with what we have uh conveyed to election commission of india and honorable supreme
19:59court if you look at this statement as a standalone statement bereft of the background i think that will
20:09not do any justice you know what happened 24th of june honorable supreme court said that we want to be
20:17do this kind of exercise 25th they started 2003 we had a similar size nobody ever complained what
20:31happened in 2003 election commission's presumptions are basically untenable and in in in a democracy like
20:41ours if election commission behaves like uh a kind of a kind of uh uh uh a body which is dictated by
20:59uh the top two i i i only worry about my democracy my people and potential elections
21:11all right so you heard in fact from rgd's manoja there this is the opposition responding to the
21:22election election the electoral revision role there which are opposing tooth and nail inside and outside
21:28parliament now a major political face-off is erupted in bengal over mamata's nrc claims and with the
21:35ongoing showdown over election commission's electoral role revision issue the bengal chief minister has
21:41alleged a housewife in ali purdwar gotten a sam nrc notice but the woman now says she never received any
21:49letter bjp has slammed tmc for spreading fake news to stoke fear before elections take a look at this report
21:57amid the ongoing showdown over election commission's electoral roll survey in bihar a fresh storm is now
22:08brewing in neighboring bengal chief minister mamata banerji recently put the cat amongst the pigeons
22:16by claiming that an nrc notice was mistakenly sent by the assam government to a bengali-speaking woman
22:23in phalakata calling it a conspiracy she threatened legal action bangalara bengalara
22:30ashambi kore has to keep quality it has to do unethically no unconstitutional illegal
22:40i'm a double indian shark article bjpk bolbo me did it check out i tell the
22:45you're going to call him under the fountain dunga coaching but the woman at the heart of the
22:52controversy anjali she has told india today that she never got a notice i'm a jala
22:58talking about the issue of alipurti your phone for some media to get off on a mission together
23:04she's a native of dhupri district in assam moved to west bengal after her marriage she clarified that her
23:10marital home is in falakata while a father's family remains in assam
23:15Now, these homes are not far from us.
23:16I can't breathe.
23:17I can breathe.
23:19We are in a hurry.
23:20Where are you coming from?
23:21This is my husband from the back house.
23:23When I had a hospital, it was late in my house.
23:27I wasn't told her to cry.
23:29If I wanted my husband to help my husband,
23:32I would have to choose my husband,
23:33so I've told her to give him thetiming.
23:35He said that he had 55,000,
23:37THEY WERE IN PUTIN.
23:38Didn't he say that he had 55,000?
23:40It was 55,000.
23:41The BJP has called out Mantha Banerjee's allegations, claiming it is a bid by TMC to create fear and spark unrest ahead of state polls next year.
24:04Calling her claims are deliberate and anti-national, the Saffron Party sought answers from the TMC Supremo.
24:11No official NRC in Bengal yet, but the politics around it is only getting louder in the run-up to next year's election.
24:20With Tapasen Gupta, Bureau Report, India Today.
24:29Well, we have some news just coming in at this point and time has got to do with AIA-DMK's shocking organ theft charge on the DMK.
24:37Erippadipal and Samir's claim the kidney racket in DMK MLA's hospital.
24:41EPS says Stalin government admits to the kidney racket, even organs not safe and Stalin rule is what Erippadipal and Samir said.
24:50Listen.
24:50Erippadipal and Samir's claimant.
24:59Dude.
24:59Erippadipal and Samir's claimant.
25:07Erippadipal and Samir's claimant.
25:17Some people say that, he said medius, he and he said,
25:26people may be the one who to get him to get him.
25:33What are the words and the words and the words and words are using them.
25:38The female dung, and the female.
25:41She died again and the next day her womb.
25:46The female dung, and the female dung,
25:49she died again and was told,
25:50she was dead and was dead.
25:53The female daughter did not know the name,
25:56the female dung,
25:58and she decided to take it again and chest.
26:03She just added the feeding of the female dung.
26:04An organized organ-stealing racket involving DMK and DMK Nathas, as in shockwaves, is very clear and evident that this DMK-associated members, DMK cadres and Nathas and hospitals are involved in the kidney racket, stealing kidneys from the downtrodden.
26:33And marginalized people. The health ministry is exercising all its powers not to investigate in the right way, at the right angle and the culprit is still on the run.
26:46From Urmada, Visvidas Pramod, this is a very, very serious charge. How has the DMK government admitted to this racket? Whom does this hospital really belong to? What's their defense? Tell us more.
26:57Well, Sneha, just like you mentioned, it's a serious issue and what happened is that a statement has been released from the Tamil Nadu government on 23rd where they have stated a committee was constituted, led by an IES officer to conduct this particular inquiry in the two hospitals that have come under the allocation of kidney racket, kidney smuggling racket from poor people especially.
27:19And based on the preliminary report, the actual license for kidney transplant has been suspended to this particular hospital.
27:26Dhanalakshmi, one which is at Parambalur and Siddhar, which is at Trichy. So this is the reason that Yadapadi K. Pandinswami has raised this issue right now, claiming that even the government has released a statement like this.
27:37But however, EPS has gone a step forward and he is claiming that one of the hospitals belongs to a DMK MLA from a Manachalur constituency, Kadiruban.
27:46And this is where he raises the allegations that under DMK rule, such kind of organ smuggling racket is occurring, Sneha.
27:53To us about whether there is a criminal case as well, because is this just a political allegation or is there more to it? Is there a case that has been registered?
28:03Sneha, the first and foremost thing is that like organ transplant of any matter is not allowed in our nation.
28:08And the important aspect is that right now, nobody has gone ahead and filed a complaint so far.
28:13But however, there have been allegations that poor people from the surrounding area have been lured into donating their organs for money in such a manner.
28:21And this has become an issue right now. As a preliminary inquiry has been initiated only recently and a statement and suspension has occurred 23rd,
28:29we are expecting more development possible, a filing of cases as well, Sneha.
28:33Alright, I'm going to leave it at that for the moment for Mohd Madhav, getting us up to speed.
28:36The newest controversy they're brewing between the DMK and the AIA DMK in the state of Tamil Nadu.
28:49Alright, more news coming in.
28:50Frianka Gandhi-Wadhra, Member of Parliament from Wynard, has said who is hijacking Parliament debate and that is an issue which is snowballing.
29:00Blaming the ruling combined MPs, she says there is a gag order on the Congress MPs.
29:05NDA MPs create ruckus and then there is adjournment. We aren't creating the ruckus.
29:11Day 4 to be lost to ruckus and sloganeering is what it appears.
29:14In the last session, I was surprised because I'm a new MP. I was surprised to see that the disruption was starting from the treasury benches.
29:27I was surprised. They would pick a topic so that we react to the topic and then there's a hangama and the house gets a jaan.
29:33And so I think it's suiting them just fine.
29:36Alright, so who's the one blocking Parliament proceedings? Is it us? Is it India block? Is it Congress? Or is it NDA MPs?
29:46Is it the question that Frianka Gandhi-Wadhra is asking, Member of Parliament from Wynard there, talking about the fact that they continuously disturb proceedings and the blame is then put on the opposition?
29:57That's what Frianka Gandhi is charged. Who is hijacking the Parliament debate is the big question here.
30:02Gandhi blaming the ruling combined MPs, saying NDA MPs are the ones throwing a ruckus in Parliament.
30:23More news coming in. Well, after Jagdeep Dhankar resigned from the post of the vice-president, big developments are now emerging.
30:31According to our sources, the next vice-president will be from the BJP.
30:36The upcoming elections of the vice-president is going to be, in fact, the contestant is going to be aligned with the BJP's ideology.
30:45Earlier, there were speculations about our JDU leader and union minister Ramna Thakur.
30:50However, sources have called those reports baseless.
30:54Thakur's recent meeting with BJP president J.P. Nanda was a routine interaction is what sources are indicating now.
31:00There has been no discussion with the JDU leadership regarding Thakur or the vice-president's post.
31:07Meanwhile, many theories are circulating about why Dhankar resigned in the first place.
31:12As per sources, the government made three separate attempts to dissuade the vice-president
31:16from accepting the opposition's impeachment motion in Ratsaba.
31:21Top brass of the BJP indicate that they had urged Dhankar to wait, but he remained firm.
31:26A key point of contention that added to the differences was the government refusing Dhankar's request to oversee the visit of U.S. Vice-President J.D. Vance.
31:36Another issue stemmed from Dhankar's vehicle fleet overall not being accepted.
31:41The vice-president of India is the vice-president of Kyalangana.
31:56The vice-president of Kyalstak is the chief and Detective Shepard's vehicle.

32:43But now, and then, this session didn't have been so serious that the session didn't have been able to do it.
32:51Former Vice President Navindia Jagdeep Dhankar's shock resignation on the first day of the parliament's monsoon session caught everyone by surprise,
32:59with the opposition left speculating the reasons behind this sudden exit.
33:04But what followed was even more shocking.
33:06In spite of repeated attempts by different leaders, Jagdeep Dhankar was unreachable.
33:11On top of that, he reportedly started packing right after his resignation was submitted.
33:17It wasn't accepted formally then.
33:19The former Vice President was determined to move on, leaving behind just so many unanswered questions.
33:38Jagdeep Dhankar remains in the headlines.
33:41Not only for his sudden resignation, but also for his actions post his resignation.
33:47The morning after his decision to quit, the power corridors of Delhi were rife with speculation of what led to his sudden decision to retire.
33:55The former Vice President made no appearance or interaction with anyone, despite requests from leaders of all parties to meet him.
34:02Notably, Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut and Sharad Pawar were among many others who requested meetings with Dhankar on Tuesday,
34:10but were denied by his office due to non-availability of a time slot.
34:14Nearly 36 hours later, he spoke over the phone with Congress President Malik Arjun Khadgi.
34:21It was a courtesy call.
34:25Sources confirmed that the leader of opposition in the Rajya Sabha had inquired about Mr. Dhankar's well-being and his health.
34:31The 74-year-old former Vice President had two more years left in his tenure, when he resigned, citing health concerns.
34:39Though the opposition refuses to buy the excuse the veteran JAT leader expressed in his resignation letter,
34:45Dhankar himself seems to have prepared his staff and family for retirement.
34:49Reports suggest that the former Vice President started packing his belongings right after he resigned on Monday evening.
34:58His resignation was not officially accepted at that point, but he seemed all set to vacate the Vice Presidential accommodation at the earliest.
35:05Determined to not turn back on his decision, Dhankar moved into the newly built Vice President enclave on Church Road,
35:13close to Parliament House complex in April of last year.
35:16This VP enclave, which houses both the Vice President's residence and his office, was developed as part of the Central Vista redevelopment project.
35:25After residing there for nearly 15 months, he is now entitled to a type 7 or 8 government bungalow in the Latian zone of Delhi.
35:33The electricity and water bills of the bungalow provided to the former Vice President were also covered by the government.
35:39Jagdeep Dhankar seems all set to move on, leaving behind loads of unanswered questions.
35:47Bureau Report, India Today.
35:48And in other news, in a major India Today impact, after we exposed the online fraud racket being operated from Cambodia,

36:09In one of the biggest global crackdowns in online fraud networks, Cambodian authorities have arrested over 3,000 people in a sweeping 15-day operation targeting digital scams.
36:21The move came after requests from Indian authorities, including the MHA, the MEA and Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre.
36:28The Ministry of External Affairs are taking steps now to deport more than 105 Indians also arrested in this scam.
36:35From the scenes of the raids, authorities recovered a wide range of evidence, including computers, laptops, mobile phones, drug processing equipment, ecstasy powder, pills and weapons.
36:48This coordinated action came after a high-level meeting last month between Cambodian authorities
36:53and senior officials from India's Ministry of External Affairs and UNOA affairs.
37:03Well, this was actually a global scam ring which was busted on India's alert.
37:08Now, from the scenes of the raids, what was found?
37:11A wide range of evidence, including computers, laptops, mobile phones, drug processing equipment, ecstasy powder as well, pills and weapons.
37:21This has got to do with a scam which has now unfolded.
37:25Remember, there were meetings that were held to discuss the same and this was a coordinated action that came after the meeting
37:32that was held last month between Cambodian authorities and senior officials from the Ministry of Home Affairs
37:38and the Ministry of External Affairs.
37:41A cyber fraudsters network has now been busted and over 3,000 people have been arrested in Cambodia
37:52out of which 105 are Indians.
37:55I'm going to go straight across to Jitendra Bahadur for more details.
37:59Jitendra is poor in this racket, 105 Indians have also been arrested, authorities have come to the house.
38:05I have told you, there was a meeting that was the External Affairs Ministry and Home Affairs Ministry.
38:11What was the coordinated action plan after that?

42:31In the video, there was talk of demolishing temples.
42:34That's what the voiceover said.
43:01That's the news that we have this hour.
43:05As far as Pooja Khetkis' matter is concerned, she's now lost the non-creamy layer certificate.
43:11Well, this is an end to the fakery racket that she was running.
43:21This is the IAS officer at Fake Documents to get special privileges.
43:26And now what we're learning is that the non-creamy layer certificate has been taken away.
43:32This, remember, is the big India Today impact.
43:36We've been reporting on this case.
43:38And now the non-creamy layer matter has, or certificate rather, has been taken away from Pooja Khetkar.
43:46This is the former IAS probationer, Pooja Khetkar, and the cheating case against her.
43:55She's been accused of cheating in the civil services exam.
43:58I'm going to go straight across to Oumkar.
44:00For more on that, Oumkar talked to us about the investigations and the fact that the system
44:06has now identified that she clearly was not deserving of the non-creamy layer certificate,
44:13which has now been taken away.
44:14Exactly.
44:18The central government has already formed a committee over her extra attempts at how
44:22could Pooja manage to give more than nine attempts while she was appearing for the UPSC.
44:27And now it is very interesting action taken by the Divisional Commissioner of Nasik.
44:32He cancelled her non-criminal certificate because reports reveal that even India Today did its
44:38own investigation last year.
44:40After that, we highlighted that she owns more than 23 properties, 12 vehicles, also assets
44:49worth near 40 crores.
44:51And that too, she managed to get non-criminal certificate from the Oumkar.
44:56And now, just because she appeared to the Ahmednagar district and later on she received the
45:04same certificate from there, so that is why the Nasik Divisional Commissioner has taken
45:08action against Pooja Khetkar.
45:09What about the investigations?
45:11Otherwise, in this case, the hearing, of course, we know is underway in this matter as well.
45:16Get us up to speed with that, Oumkar Waple.
45:18Well, single member committee has already been formed.
45:22The committee has submitted its report.
45:24But interestingly, Delhi police are still struggling to get her custody in the High Court because
45:31the crime is, and the basic AFR is registered in Delhi NCR.
45:35So, now Delhi police has to decide what exactly they are going to do because the High Court has
45:39already given her interim bail.
45:41Now she is protected by the court's permission.
45:45But Pooja Khetkar is, she already condemned all those allegations.
45:49And now she is saying it is happening under the pressure and now she is going to challenge
45:54to the state secretary.
45:56All right, I am going to leave it at that for the moment.
45:59Oumkar Waple getting us those details.
46:01Remember, the UPSC has already initiated a series of actions against Khetkar, including
46:06lodging a criminal case for availing attempts in the civil services exam by faking her identity.
46:13Delhi police has filed an FIR against her for various offences.
46:17The creamy layer certificate is now taken away.
46:21So, she is now, she doesn't have that certificate anymore.
46:25This on grounds of suppression of information, even as she has challenged this cancellation.
46:47Prime Minister Modi has reached London for his two-day visit to the United Kingdom.
46:57He will receive the rousing welcome from the Indian diaspora in the UK.
47:01Thanking them, the Prime Minister called the reception heartwarming.
47:05Indian diaspora expressed joy and admiration after meeting the Prime Minister.
47:09Several welcomed Prime Minister Modi with traditional performances.
47:12The Prime Minister will also be meeting UK Prime Minister, Khetz Tama.
47:15He will hold crucial bilateral talks during which the India-UK trade deal is expected to be signed.
47:22Discussions will cover the entire gamut of India-UK relations.
47:27As part of the trade deal, talks are underway to eliminate 99% of tariffs on Indian goods entering the UK.
47:33The deal will cover the full scope of bilateral trade.
47:37In return, India will cut duties on 90% of British products.
47:40Within the next 10 years, around 85% of these products will be tariff-free in India.
47:47Apart from trade, other key discussions include the extradition of Indian fugitives from the UK.
47:52India is also expected to continue flagging the issue of Khalistani extremism with its UK counterpart.
47:59After these engagements, the Prime Minister is expected to be hosted personally and separately
48:05by both Prime Ministers Tama and King Charles Rafferty.
48:09Like this, 15 buses full of people from 9 to 10 locations in London are going to welcome Modi-ji.
48:21And I'm here with some of the people.
48:22They don't have too much time in hand.
48:24This is a short trip indeed and people have had less time to get together.
48:29But apparently, 500 to 600 people, I'm told, will be there and welcoming Modi-ji.
48:36And I've got here a very little, small, cute girl.
48:39Swecha, what are you doing?
48:41I'm doing a dance.
48:44Okay, what dance is it?
48:48Bharat Natyam.

48:52So, what are you performing?
48:54What's your name?
48:55I'm Praban and I'm performing a dance as well.
48:58Okay, what dance is it and what's your message for the Prime Ministers?
49:03It's a Red Matching Dance.
49:05Can't scream out your message if there is any.

49:38All right, so as always, it's not surprising at all that the Diaspora is all excited to
49:43welcome and meet the Prime Minister.
49:45They've already welcomed him and there will be further engagements as well.
49:48I'm going to go straight across to Laveena for more details on that story.
49:53You know, talk to us about how the free trade agreement that is being looked at
49:59will be impacting both the nations here.
50:02As far as doing business is concerned,
50:04will this significantly reduce tariff deals,
50:08boosting commerce and investment relations between India and the UK,
50:12especially at a time when India is scrambling to reach a trade consensus with the US?
50:18The FDA is expected to be beneficial for both the countries, Britain as well as India.
50:25If India comes with the benefit of being a huge market,
50:30Britain comes with the benefit of being a high-value market for India.
50:35Now, it is expected that this deal could boost the GDP or will be economic injection
50:42for Britain to the tune of £4.8 billion.
50:46It is expected that the trade between the two countries could go up to or double
50:52by £120 billion by 2030-2035.
50:57So, it is quite huge indeed.
51:00Now, talking about the image of global Britain,
51:04this plays quite well into that image.
51:06Do they have had deals with Australia and New Zealand,
51:09but none present such a huge market for their goods.
51:14And the goods that are will stand to be benefiting from this,
51:19especially the Scotch whisky, much in demand in India and in cars.
51:24These are the two, apart from many others, of course,
51:27but these two stand to benefit.
51:29It is expected that the 150% duty on Scotch will fall down to 75% immediately
51:37and over a period of time to 40%.
51:40So, many such details would, of course, show up.
51:43But this is a high performer.
51:45And this Scotch whisky played a big,
51:48the entire union and the group played a huge role in the negotiation process.
51:54For India, of course, the textile, the food, all of these markets,
52:00electric cars, education, healthcare, pharmaceuticals,
52:04this is where it stands to benefit.
52:07It is expected that the tariff is going to go down for India to UK
52:12in exports to the tune of 99%,
52:16while for Britain it is 90%.
52:18So, the fine details will come true once it's signed off.
52:22But, of course, both the countries are expected to benefit.
52:27There are some worrisome points for the small and medium-sized businesses.
52:32Of course, many esteem to benefit,
52:36but there are pockets, there are very pockets of worries.
52:39But then one has to remember that for this deal to come into practice,
52:45it is still some time because it has to be ratified
52:48by the parliaments of both the countries.
52:51Oh, well, Levina getting those details there on what is expected
52:54as far as the trade deal there is concerned.
