New Delhi, July 07, 2025(ANI): On Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls in Bihar, Advocate Talha Abdul Rahman said, "To challenge the special intensive revision of electoral rolls announced by the Election Commission of India, about seven petitions were filed today, claiming that the Election Commission lacks statutory powers to revise electoral rolls in this manner. Many of their points contradict the rules... During court proceedings, it was initially stated that if you had voted in any election before, you could not be suspected, and there was concern that a large number of people might be left out due to the rapid pace of the revision process... The court has scheduled the next hearing for Thursday, 10th July..."
