New Delhi, July 10, 2025 (ANI): Supreme Court allows the Election Commission of India to continue with its exercise of conducting a Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in poll-bound Bihar.Supreme Court says that it is of the prima facie opinion that in the interest of justice, the Election Commission to also consider including documents like Aadhaar, Ration Card and Voter ID card etc. during the ongoing Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls in Bihar.Notably Advocate Barun Kumar Sinha said, "...Now the hearing of this case will be held on July 28, till then the Election Commission will continue its work of voter list revision and will present all the information through a counter affidavit in the Supreme Court on the next date. Regarding Aadhaar, the Hon'ble Court said that if the Election Commission wants, it can consider Aadhaar card, voter ID card and ration card. If the Election Commission wants, it can also reject them by giving reasons..."

01:17आज सुप्रीम कोर्ट में दोनों पक्षों को सुना गया एक पक्ष ऐसा है जो चाहता है कि बिहार में जो intensive revision हो रहा है
01:24जो मद्दाता सूची का सत्यापन हो रहा उसको रोग दिया जाए
01:27हमारी आज का हमारी मांग यह है कि यह सत्यापन चलना चाहिए

01:32हमने यह कहा है कि voting fundamental right नहीं है
01:36right to vote fundamental right नहीं है लेकिन free and fair election fundamental right है
01:39अगर voter list में एक भी रोहिंग्या का नाम है
01:42एक भी घुस पैठिये का नाम है उसको काटा जाना जरूरी है
01:45बिना जब तक घुस पैठिये भारत में ओट करेंगे
01:48तब तक इसको free and fair election नहीं कह सकते है
01:49माननी सुप्रिम कोट में हमारी आजका पे भी है
01:52और जो दूसरा पक्ष चाहता था कि यह रुख जा
01:54दोनों पक्षों की आजका पे election commission को notice जारी किया है
01:57हमारी आजका में सारे राज सरकारें भी party इसलिए उनको भी notice जारी किया है

02:04और सुप्रिम कोट ने stay करने से साफ साफ बना कर दिया है
02:09जो election commission का जो drive चल रहा है
02:12इस पे सुप्रिम कोट ने कोई नहीं रोक लगाया है
02:16दूसरी तरब से मांग की गई थी कि आधार को और आसन कार्ड को और ओटर लिस्ट को भी सामिल करने की लिए घुजारिस की गई थी
02:24सुप्रिम कोट ने कहा है कि election commission चाहे तो उन तीनों document को accept करे
02:29यह election commission का domain है उसमें कोई इंटरफेर नहीं होगा
02:32ताइम लाइन को लेगे काती सवाल उठाए सुप्रिम कोट ने की exercise खतम हो पाएगी कि नहीं
02:36आने वाल election चे पहले माने सुप्रिम कोट यह कह रहा था कि क्या election के पहले पहले यह drive पूरी हो जाएगी
02:45उस पे election commission ने कहा है कि 60% लोगों का सत्या document पहले आ चुके हैं कि वह 40% बचे हुए है और election commission ने भरोसा दिया है कि बिहार चुनाओं के पहले यह जो intensive drive हो रही है जो गहन पड़ताल चल रही है यह पूरी हो जाएगी
