02:56as the king of Montevallo,
02:58I'm gonna look good doing it, obviously.
03:00I don't do squats for nothing.
03:01The staging business is doing very well.
03:05I got a couple of set designers that have been calling me.
03:07They need like a 60s sofa or a mid-century modern table.
03:11I love to do that, so business is good.
03:14It's got me back in these dirty storage units for sure.
03:21Aw, it's an official date.
03:25Sure be.

04:50Well, hopefully there's enough to go around, because I'm also looking for these types of
04:57things, Brandy.

08:34Light cord here, 5 bucks.
08:37More clothes.
08:39$10 on that crate.
08:41More clothes.
08:43Oh, these are like blankets.
08:44Heavy quilts.
08:45Quilts sell pretty good.
08:46$10 in quilts.
08:50Good looking tool bag.
08:52Very good looking.
08:53Looks like everything's there.
08:54$25.
08:56Oh, right here.
08:57Ooh.
08:58This is a big jack.
08:59Ugh.
09:00I don't see the pipe nowhere.
09:02That brings the value down about half without that.
09:06There we go.
09:10Cooking with grease.
09:11That's 20 bucks, Jack.
09:13All right.
09:14What we got?

09:19Right here, 45 bucks each.
09:23Cuisinart's.
09:23Some kind of cooker.
09:24Yep.
09:24Here's the cooker.
09:25I ain't making no bread, but it'll make me some bread.
09:2825 bucks.
09:28A little bit of dough.
09:30Ooh.
09:31This is heavy.
09:32Ugh.
09:33Listen, it's got to be iron to be that heavy.
09:36Ooh.
09:37It's iron, but I don't know what it is.
09:40Oh, I think this is a brake.
09:43Ooh.
09:44Maybe not.
09:45Can it say anything on the box?
09:47Torque converter.
09:48Oh, a torque converter.
09:49That means you get more power.
09:50And it's made in the USA?
09:51Bonus.
09:52Ugh.
09:53They can be $150 to $500, so let's just call it $200 to be safe.
09:59Well, I see worse.
10:01If it rolls, it works.
10:0320 bucks.
10:05What we got here?
10:07Ugh.
10:08Ah!
10:10Definitely no money.
10:12Frisbee.
10:14That fly's pretty damn good.
10:16No money in the rest of this.
10:19All right.
10:19What we got?
10:20Ooh.
10:21Ooh.
10:23We have, like, an army cantina-type thing.
10:33That's pretty cool.
10:35This looks like World War II-ish.
10:36And a hat.
10:38Oh, helmet.
10:40This is on my ground.
10:41We used to put the fuel in there and had a little light there,
10:44blowing a little gas flame.
10:45These things can be the mother load, or they can be fool's gold.
10:48But my rule is, when I don't know, find somebody who do.
10:51Well, I only got two things left.
10:55Ugh.
10:55Well, Echo, $25.
10:58Leaf blower.
11:00Echo, better looking, $35.
11:02Let's see if they got compression.
11:07Ooh!
11:09Can we get lucky twice?
11:13Ooh!
11:14Ooh!
11:14Double misses!
11:18Ooh!
11:22And that's what I call blowing away the competition.
11:27Now I got to get back to the auction.
11:30I'm coming.
11:31Ugh.
11:32Nobody else steal this when I get out of here.
11:34Here we go!
11:42All right, folks, this is a 6x10!
11:45Another clean unit!
11:51I'm so sorry.
11:52I didn't mean to bother you.
11:54It's tough.
11:55You gonna put up with that?
11:56All right.
11:57All right, well, just don't let it happen again, then.
12:00Good job, because next time won't be so nice.
12:03We're working on her social skills.
12:05Yeah.
12:06Yeah.
12:07You're gonna have to really work on that.
12:08Try to bring the anger out.
12:09All right, let's see what we got here.
12:11We got some fancy clothes.
12:12We got some keyboards.
12:13We got some...
12:15A lot of mystery boxes.
12:16Big old box.
12:17Damn.
12:17I like this one.
12:19Dan, you know what that means?
12:21I'm gonna own it.
12:21No.
12:22Okay.
12:23Okay.
12:24All right.
12:24Come on.
12:25I saw that.
12:26I loved that.
12:27Just tell them all.
12:28I've had enough.
12:29Do you think I was being rude?
12:30No.
12:30I don't want to be rude.
12:31A lot of really ugly clothing.
12:36A couple of keyboards.
12:38This one's actually kind of decent.
12:39Oh, it's a stair climber.
12:42It looks like the box has not been opened, so maybe it's still in there.
12:45Not what I was looking for, but this kind of equipment can go for a couple hundred bucks.
12:50I'm in.
12:50Nice little clothes rack.
12:52Ooh, neat little marble lamp.
12:54I love that.
12:55You know how I love my marbles.
12:56You lost your marbles.
13:00Yeah, but I found them the other day.
13:01Ooh, nice M88.
13:03Definitely.
13:05I'm glad you came out here, because seriously, this is...
13:08Oh, shoot.

13:29Okay, I already know what I saw.
13:31Swayna, what'd you see?
13:32They have good taste.
13:33Look at their fashion.

20:19Okay, you naysayers, get out of the way.
20:21Yes, girl!
20:22God, she's fighting for it.
20:24We're going to have a good time.
20:26Gosh darn it, that's what I get for being assertive, Lisa.
20:29All right, folks, that's the end of the sale,
20:31and don't forget to pay the lady.
20:33Thank you, everyone.
20:36All right, I might not have learned to not give Dan a pity bid,
20:39but I did learn to come prepared.
20:41Look, you never know what you're going to find
20:44in a locker full of trash bags.
20:45Treasures, hopefully, but it's better to be safe than sorry.
20:48You know what I mean?
20:49I'll start with this one.
20:51Oh, yeah, this one's good.
20:53This one was just asking to come down.
20:55Just get into it.
20:57Oh, awesome.
21:00Literal garbage.
21:04Bag-o-garbage number one.
21:09Only 85 more bags to go.
21:11Dirty, filthy clothes.
21:14Not going to sell that.
21:19Let's see.
21:20Yeah, dirty blankets and stuff
21:22that no one wants to pay money for.
21:28Hey, look at this.
21:29It's actually a skateboard.
21:32With no wheels.
21:33Remind me again why I bought this locker.
21:41No, nothing good here.
21:45All right, we're adding this one to...
21:48Trash pile.
21:52Garbage-o.
21:53Dirty bedding.
21:54Trash pile.
21:55Note to self.
21:58When Dan asks you to put an opening bed on a locker,
22:02stop,
22:03think twice,
22:05and then roll on out of there.
22:09Sweet!
22:09What?
22:11Fifteen.
22:12Fifteen.
22:12Hey!
22:13Randy!
22:13Oh, my God.
22:15Tell me you're here to help me.
22:17I could use...
22:18I could use just the friendship.
22:20Holy mother of trash.
22:22What the hell did I just walk into?
22:24Here's the deal.
22:25You help me just get through the rest of this.
22:28Okay.
22:28And then I'm at your service.
22:31Ooh, I got a much bigger one.
22:32Yeah.
22:33I know I'm gonna regret this,
22:34but...
22:35what the hell?
22:36I remember my first locker,
22:38and it wasn't as bad as this one.
22:39All right, let's do some dishes.
22:41You spent five bucks, right?
22:42Yeah, I spent a whopping five bucks.
22:44But now you have to think of how much
22:45you're gonna have to spend at the dump.
22:47Brandy!
22:48All right, just show the guys
22:49if there's, like, a or something.
22:50They'll let you through.
22:51I'll bring you for that as well.
22:53I mean, that's probably a good idea.
22:55Watch Brandy go!
22:56Watch Brandy go!
22:58Look at these.
23:00Yikes.
23:00And this, I believe, we...
23:03Yeah.
23:03Yep.
23:03We're gonna go ahead and...
23:05Okay.
23:06Do that.
23:07Oh!
23:08What is that?
23:09What's that?
23:11Trash now!
23:12This is it, right?
23:13Last bag?
23:14Last bag.
23:16Oh!
23:18Save yourself!
23:20I'm sorry.
23:21This is so bad, Lisa.
23:23No, Brandy, I'm sorry.
23:25I'm horrified for you.
23:27Well, I learned a very important lesson today.
23:29People actually put trash in trash bags.
23:32I know that we have created the world's largest trash mountain,
23:36but I'm gonna come back, load this up in the Subaru.
23:40But first, let me hold up my pot of the bagging.
23:43Okay.
23:44Come and help you with your locker.
23:45All right, let's go.
23:46I think I got my hat.
23:57Phil!
23:59Where you at?
24:00Over here.
24:01Over where?
24:02In the back.
24:03Phil Fabian at King Richard's Antiques.
24:05He's been good to me in the past.
24:06So hopefully today, I'll strike gold again.
24:09How you doing, Mr. Phil?
24:10Phil, how are you?
24:11Good to see you again.
24:12You too.
24:13Well, I brought you two things.
24:14One is this.
24:15Okay.
24:16And the other you'll never guess.
24:17Uh, I have a feeling it might have something to do with your hat.
24:20Yeah, you're good.
24:23Well, check that out.
24:24All right.
24:24This is keeping my head warm right here.
24:26Yes.
24:26So this looks like a self-contained rescue breathing apparatus, mostly for miners, but basically
24:34in all small spaces.
24:35There's a lot of carbon monoxide in mines, which of course, as we all know, is dangerous
24:39to humans.
24:40But yeah, you take this ring out of here, you pull on it to open it up, and out comes this
24:45little mask thing with some chemicals in it.
24:47There's like little things on the inside of the mask.
24:49You bite down on that, that releases the chemicals.
24:51The chemicals turn the carbon monoxide into carbon dioxide, which is non-toxic to humans.
24:58And you can breathe for about an hour.
25:00This one looks like it's probably 1940s, World War II vintage.
25:04They did not use this specific, almost kind of a trash can style for too long, because it
25:09is very heavy.
25:10They've modernized them and upgraded them, but they basically work the same still.
25:13They're still desirable.
25:15They're just kind of more for decorative purposes these days.
25:18So what about the hat?
25:20What about the hat?
25:20Can I see it?
25:21Oh, sure.
25:23Now that I unearthed with this.
25:25Okay, cool.
25:26So this is a carbide lamp.
25:28It was invented in the 1890s.
25:30This actually uses calcium carbide.
25:32That's why it's called a carbide lamp, which is just a basic mineral you can get.
25:35You put it in here in the bottom.
25:37You put water in the top.
25:39You just pour some water in there.
25:40You've got this little flint here, you know, like a lighter.
25:43Click on that, and it creates a spark.
25:45And the calcium carbide mixed with the water creates an acetylene torch, and that lets you
25:50see.
25:50These create a really great, intense light.
25:53This little lamp lasts for just about 12 hours.
25:56Ooh, that little thing, that long.
25:57Yeah.
25:58But this is the most important right here.
26:00Okay.
26:00This is like the Cadillac of mining hats.
26:02The material kind of reminds me of the ones in the army.
26:04You see the little line?
26:05So this would be officially a MSA Comfo Cap Tiger Stripe.
26:10The lighter colors actually reflect off of the light, so it helps see people better.
26:15Like, you know, if you wear fluorescent while you're jogging or something.
26:17Here, it can adjust to your head.
26:19You know, you can tie this little string here or untie it and make it bigger or smaller.
26:24I'd say this isn't even that old necessarily, probably from the 80s or 90s.
26:29They still make this cap today, and it still looks exactly like this.
26:33This is a great find.
26:34Honestly, mining collectibles are a hot commodity.
26:38They have been for a long time, and they still are.
26:40Well, the reason I drove down here is I'm mining for Moolah.
26:43That's where you come in.
26:45Okay.
26:45Well, you got this respirator here.
26:48This would actually probably finish somebody's collection if they were looking for something
26:52like this.
26:54They go for about $75.
26:56All right.
26:57So this little carbide lamp, this is really cool.
26:59And it's still in working condition.
27:01Collectors, they go crazy for them.
27:04They go for about $125.
27:06Not bad at all.
27:09The MSA Comfo Cap.
27:12This is a really nice one.
27:14And it's in great condition, especially with the tiger stripe here.
27:17I've seen them go for upwards of about $750.
27:22And that's the kind of gold I was mining for.
27:25All right.
27:26Thank you, sir.
27:27I got some helmets to sell.
27:29There you go.
27:30See you later.
27:30See you, Ivy.
27:35After you.
27:37Let me unlock it, my lady.
27:39You stupid door.
27:46Diving in, sweetheart.
27:47Dig deep.
27:48$30.
27:49What about in this little fancy gray box?
27:51Let's see.
27:52What is it?
27:53It's some hardware.
27:54At least $30.
27:56All right.
27:56I'm looking through the rack.
27:58There's Adidas.
27:59I mean, at least $50.
28:01Oh, wow.
28:02I thought it was going to be heavier.
28:04Look at this.
28:04It's a Yamaha.
28:05There's missing some knobs, but maybe you're missing some knobs.
28:08$300.
28:09With this one, you can probably still get $100.
28:11Okay.
28:12Oh, at least there's stock.
28:16They got their little iced out little bracelet thing.
28:19At least $300.
28:20It's pretty heavy.
28:21There's all kinds.
28:22This is a hot mess.
28:24There's at least $100 in purses here.
28:26What is this?
28:28These sunglasses?
28:29Maybe she was selling them.
28:30This is like, you never need another sunglass case again.
28:33Dollar an item.
28:33There's at least like 100 of them in here.
28:35It's getting warm.
28:36Aye, aye.
28:37Okay.
28:37Ah!
28:39Ah!
28:40Ah!
28:41You did it.
28:42But what is it?
28:43What does it say?
28:44It's the climber connected vertical climber.
28:47For exercise?
28:48This is an exercise device.
28:49Oh, wow.
28:50Definitely.
28:50That's not cheap stuff.
28:52It can't be.
28:53Yeah.
28:54Should we use our trusty friend?
28:56Yes.
28:57Brandy.
28:58Oof.
28:58What?
28:59This thing new is $3,000.
29:02What?
29:02I mean, let's try for half price.
29:03$1,500.
29:05Let me get it for you.
29:06You're doing all the heavy lifting around here.
29:09I'm joking.
29:09It's not that heavy.
29:10Really?
29:11I was excited.
29:12Heavy meant better stuff.
29:13Not always.
29:14Oh, what's this?
29:15Oh, man.
29:16I don't know what's going on in here.
29:17A disco light.
29:19Ah, this thing's cool.
29:20What is it?
29:21I, you know, it's got a sensitivity control.
29:24Mm-hmm.
29:25And I mean, this cord, I haven't seen one of these in a long time.
29:27This looks like it's easily, like, from the 70s.
29:30So I think it actually is some form of, like, a party light.
29:34It has a sensor that plays to whatever music you're listening to, which I assume would
29:39be disco music.
29:40Because of this?
29:42Well.
29:43Yeah.
29:43But you know, I haven't seen one in such a long time.
29:46So, I mean, let's take it somewhere.
29:49Yeah, because I don't know the value of it.
29:51I've never seen one.
29:53Okay.
29:54Wow.
29:55This was very light.
29:56Very light?
29:58It's very light.
29:59So I think pillows or bedding.
30:02For sure.
30:02Oh, look, there's more.
30:04Wow.
30:04Look.
30:05Wow.
30:05Look, this is, like, some hippie stuff right here.
30:07Look, there's a bigger one.
30:09This is a disco extravaganza.
30:10Now we have, like, half a Studio 54 here.
30:13We'll just add these to the other 70s stuff and have it looked at, too.
30:17What about this rack?
30:18It's got a lot of colors.
30:19You see anything good?
30:19There's some brands.
30:20Maybe, I don't know, $100?
30:22I mean, it doesn't look pretty, but thanks to the stair climber, and we have a couple nice keyboards.
30:29Yeah, yeah.
30:30And we still have the surprise.
30:31That's the sequel to the day.
30:33Yes, there's more, part two.
30:38All right.
30:39You ready?
30:40I think so.
30:41Yes, I'm ready.
30:42All right.
30:42You've got to learn something today.
30:44Yeah.
30:44But I won't just stand around and watch.
30:45Don't you worry.
30:47Okay.
30:48This is a perfect time to teach Lisa a thing or two about these units.
30:52She could use some serious mentoring.
30:54All right.
30:55Hey.
30:55Get up in here.
30:56Oh, this is heavy.
30:57Okay.
30:58Oh, what a fancy handbag.
31:00I think it's paperwork.
31:02Oh.
31:03Books.
31:05All right.
31:06Let's put this where we go, over here, because we don't want it.
31:10Okay?
31:11Okay.
31:11Okay.
31:11That's the not.
31:12This is a no pile?
31:14Yeah.
31:14Here, you give to me, and I'll put in the pile.
31:16Is there a blanket?
31:16Okay.
31:18No.
31:20Ah.
31:20Oh, these are actually some designer jeans in there.
31:24Probably, like, 40 bucks.
31:26Okay.
31:27Okay.
31:28Now, don't let me help with it.
31:30It's heavy, okay?
31:31That's what I'm here for.
31:33Thanks.
31:33I mean, I don't know.
31:35It's actually nice.
31:35Oh, they're jewelry.
31:37You know what?
31:38A lot of people like this junk, so we'll keep that.
31:40I'll say, like, 20 bucks a meal.
31:42Here, Brandy.
31:43We'll just, you know what?
31:44Yeah, I've really learned the plastic bag technique.
31:48Oh, goodness.
31:49Okay, and then we're going to just grab all that and put it right back into that bag.
31:54Is this that leather?
31:55Hard to say.
31:56It's hard to say.
31:57Take a gander at that.
31:58It says, leather baby.
32:01It is.
32:01All right, so we can sell that.
32:02Maybe 40 bucks.
32:0340.
32:04Yeah.
32:04Fine.
32:04Hey, man, that's a sweet-ass tire.
32:06It is a sweet-ass tire.
32:07Give her a snack.
32:08Bad tire.
32:10Bad.
32:10The tread's still on it.
32:1120.
32:12A mini fridge.
32:13Oh, don't open that.
32:14We got enough.
32:15All right, you're at funeral.
32:16You have to find out.
32:16I'm going to walk over here.
32:20Yeah, that's a bad idea.
32:21Yeah.
32:21Yeah, you're learning.
32:24Do not open fridges ever.
32:32Buy moisturizer.
32:35Yeah?
32:35Okay.
32:36Yeah.
32:37It was not heavy at all, so that was weird.
32:38Oh.
32:39Scuba suit?
32:40No, I think it's seat covers for your car.
32:42Actually, these are clean.
32:44And they look like they're brand new, actually.
32:46Yeah.
32:4640 bucks for these?
32:47Yep.
32:48All right.
32:48Stroller.
32:49Looks like it's in decent condition.
32:5120 bucks.
32:57Oh.
32:58Okay.
32:59Oh, that's cool.
33:01Is that a lighter?
33:02Huh?
33:03Hold on.
33:04It's an old, um...
33:06It's a lighter, no?
33:07Greyhound.
33:08It's a lighter, right?
33:09It's from a greyhound bus?
33:12Oh, maybe is it a...
33:13Is it a...
33:14Oh.
33:15It's from an old vintage bus.
33:16Oh, the hood ornament.
33:18Hood ornament.
33:18Yeah, that's the word we were looking for.
33:19Yeah, yeah.
33:20The hood ornament.
33:21That's cool.
33:21Yeah.
33:22That might be...
33:22That looks cool.
33:23It might be worth something.
33:24Okay.
33:24Something to investigate for sure.
33:26Okay, this is the something to investigate pile.
33:28Yeah.
33:29What else is in here?
33:33Oh.
33:34It's another hood ornament.
33:36Hood ornament.
33:37Yeah.
33:37Hell yes.
33:38Hell yes.
33:39That's a falcon right there.
33:40We're going to look at that little...
33:42Yeah, this is...
33:42That little falcon.
33:43TBI.
33:43To be investigated.
33:45Yeah.
33:47More seat covers.
33:49Another 40 bucks.
33:50What on earth?
33:51Oh, more seat covers.
33:53Another 40 bucks.
33:54More seat covers.
33:55Another 40 bucks.
33:57Oh, more seat covers.
33:5840 bucks.
33:59Seat covers.
34:0040 bucks.
34:02Seat covers.
34:0340 bucks.
34:04All right, what is that one?
34:05200 bucks on seat covers right here.
34:07I won the jackpot and seat covers.
34:09More seat covers.
34:10Another 40 bucks.
34:11Car seat covers are fast.
34:15Come on down.
34:16We got you covered.
34:18How about this beautiful bed frame?
34:20It is not beautiful.
34:21It's a little outdated.
34:22It's not worth it.
34:23All right.
34:23There are some toolboxes here, which is...
34:25Yeah.
34:26...promising.
34:28Okay.
34:30These are good.
34:31Rent city.
34:31I can sell the hell out of this.
34:32There's a solid 100 bucks in tools in there.
34:35Okay, last thing.
34:36This is it.
34:37Ready?
34:37Okay.
34:37I'm ready.
34:39Ooh, zip ties.
34:40Zip ties.
34:41Can't ever go wrong with zip ties.
34:42I'll probably get 50 bucks tools in here.
34:45Not the best locker I ever had, but at least I taught Lisa a little something.
34:49I think I did just about make my money back in seat covers, if you know anybody that's
34:53in the market.
34:54I'll put the word out.
34:56But I did find those hood ornaments, so they've got to be worth some money.
35:00I think they're worth some money.
35:00You want to go with me?
35:01See if we can get some money out of it?
35:02Yeah.
35:02At least maybe I'll make a little money today.
35:04Well, let's just hope I can find them.
35:07Let's see.
35:10I'm excited.
35:11Oh, no.
35:13Look at all the dresses.
35:14I'm already scared.
35:16Wow, look at this place.
35:20Hey, guys.
35:21Come on in.
35:22I'm Wanda.
35:23Hi.
35:23To find out more about this disco party we found in the locker the other day, Lupe and
35:27I are meeting with Wanda Swallow, owner of Play Clothes Vintage.
35:32We heard you were the dress expert.
35:34Oh, I don't know if I'm an expert, but I've seen a lot of clothes in my life.
35:39This is a really cute little 70s pattern.
35:42It looks like the fabric's probably original.
35:44It's that typical kind of mini skirt, turtleneck, long sleeve, but it looks like it's made by
35:51someone at home.
35:52But this is beautifully done.
35:53The fabric looks original.
35:54It's an old metal zipper.
35:55Even though it is homemade, it's still really well constructed and kept in wonderful condition.
36:01And now this one.
36:02I call it a Brady Bunch dress.
36:03It's definitely a Brady Bunch dress.
36:06So it's a 70s pattern, 70s colors, the oranges, the yellows, the limes.
36:11But unfortunately, it's new.
36:13This is a newer store label, and they do mainly 70s things.
36:17But they're both really cute.
36:18Well, we have some other things, too.
36:20Oh, my goodness.
36:21So we've got the party dresses.
36:23Now we've got the party supplies.
36:24Now you've got the mirror ball.
36:26Yeah.
36:26And you know, these go way back.
36:27They go back into the 20s, even, when people were swing dancing.
36:32But these would have been fairly common in the 70s.
36:35So we've got the two smaller ones.
36:37This is really great.
36:38Just the glow, the color.
36:40It's in good condition.
36:41There's no mirrors missing.
36:43The attachment is still here.
36:45Looks like it works pretty well.
36:47That's great.
36:48Well, our disco party is not quite over yet.
36:51Oh, okay.
36:51We have the partied light.
36:53Oh, my God.
36:55Why don't we plug it in?
36:56Awesome.
36:57We'll see what it does.
36:58Look at that.
36:58Oh, my gosh.
36:59Look at that.
37:00So cool.
37:01It's so great.
37:03Well, what we have here is a Saturn sound light.
37:06Sort of a lot of disco clubs.
37:09You can even buy them and have them at home when you had your disco party.
37:12It does all different color lighting, and it also lights up to the beat of the music, which is really fun.
37:17Now look at the back.
37:18There's a microphone right here.
37:19And then this is a sensitivity knob.
37:21So I guess it can make the lights go at different levels and stuff.
37:24There's maybe a little crack in the plastic there.
37:27But this is really in good condition for thinking about how old it is and that you would be carrying it from house to house for your house parties.
37:35So, I mean, what do you think about these things?
37:37What do you think they're worth?
37:38I would say in total about $800 here.
37:46Whoa.
37:47Wow.
37:48I could dig that.
37:49All I hear is $800 worth of vintage dresses.
37:55We'll get right this way.
37:56I got the goods.
37:59Oh, good.
38:02Lisa and I are meeting with Jimmy Shine, the owner of Shine Speed Shop.
38:05To find out if the stuff we found the other day, we'll put some more money in my pocket.
38:08Put your greasy towel down.
38:09Okay, here it.
38:10We've got a greasy towel for you.
38:11I like greasy towels.
38:13All right.
38:13So what do we have here?
38:14Many different radiator caps.
38:17Okay.
38:18This one I'm looking at right here, it almost looks like a Model A, but the shape is a little bit different.
38:23I would think that's probably late 1920s like Chevrolet.
38:27That looks more like a Chevrolet cap to me and probably chrome plated because chrome plating came about in 1924, 1925 because the chrome was really highly corrosion resistant.
38:38And they still use the same process where they polish the metal, it gets copper plated, and then nickel.
38:43But it fades, it corrodes.
38:45The chrome goes over the nickel and it retains that luster.
38:48So that's why we still use that process today.
38:50This is a bit earlier and it still has the pressure cap in here for pressure relief.
38:56They found that by holding the pressure in the radiator, it raises the temperature of the water before it boils.
39:02So you've got better cooling properties.
39:04And it's steel and it was nickel plated before they had chrome.
39:08That's probably late teens, early 20s, and I think that might be off of like a Ford tractor.
39:14Oh.
39:14So this, this was a combination, hood ornament as well as the radiator cap.
39:20This is actually Lincoln.
39:22Oh.
39:22Probably late 20s, early 30s as well.
39:25Lincoln was like the high-end part of like Ford Motor Company.
39:28Henry Ford started that division.
39:30A lot of this was like almost a status symbol on your car.
39:33I like the detail that they have the ribs and everything in there.
39:36It's art.
39:37Again, it is art.
39:38It's like somebody, like an artist made that.
39:40Because of the zinc and the chrome plating, you can see it's in really good condition.
39:45This, this is like high-end Chevrolet, late 20s once again.
39:50But look how art deco that is.
39:51I know.
39:52Look how sharp and crisp all the lines are.
39:55About the time these were produced, we were going through the Depression.
39:58And there was a lot of pride in built-in America, that resilience, that strength.
40:03And again, the cars were a big part of that as well.
40:06So that's an example of an American Eagle.
40:09Interesting collection you got there.
40:10You know, if somebody's restoring a car, they're going to want something original like this.
40:14But even if you don't have a car, I mean, there's a lot of people that collect these.
40:17All right, so how much money do I have here?
40:21I would think this being, you know, a baseline Chevrolet cap, probably a good $40.
40:28This tractor cap, about $60.
40:30Okay.
40:31I would think this would come in second place here.
40:34Wait, wait.
40:34Did you see?
40:35Did you turn it over?
40:36Is it anatomically correct?
40:39What?
40:40It might add to the value.
40:41So I would think something like this, even to somebody who's just a collector, that's probably $380.
40:49Okay.
40:49That didn't hurt.
40:50That's good.
40:51Now, this 1920s Chevrolet Eagle, it too's in really good condition.
40:56The rarity of it, I'm thinking about $400.
41:01Okay.
41:01Here we go.
41:03If my math is right, that's $880.
41:06I'm not complaining about that.
41:07All right.
41:08Well, thank you.
41:09All right.
41:09Nice to see you again.
41:10Lisa, nice to meet you.
41:12Thank you, Mr. Speed.
41:13Speed, shine, whatever.
41:15Mr. Shine.
41:17That's right.
41:19That's cool.
41:22Dusty and Lupe's date was a ball as they discoed to the beat of $2,500.
41:29Ivy Calvin mined his way to $1,500 big ones.
41:33Brande Passante capped off her day with $900 smackers.
41:38And though Lisa Delario's tried to be assertive, all she got was a big old pile of trash.
41:46Is this hand sanitizer?
41:47Instant hand sanitizer.
41:48Instant hand sanitizer.
41:49Instant.
41:50Because the other ones take time.
41:52Hang on.
41:53You got to wait 30 minutes before you're sanitized.
41:54You're clean now, babe.
41:55You're clean now.
41:56There you go.
41:57We'll just sanitize the pile.
41:58Oh, that's okay.
41:59Great.
42:00Yeah.
42:01Yeah.
42:02Yeah.
42:03So now it's clean.
42:04Now it's clean.
42:05Hey, wait.
42:06I think I saw a lighter.
42:07Ha ha ha ha.
42:08Ha ha ha.
42:09That's okay.
42:10Great.
42:11Yeah.
42:12Yeah.
42:13So now it's clean.
42:14Now it's clean.
42:15Hey, wait.
42:16I think I saw a lighter.
42:17Ha ha ha.
