00:00Last time on Castle.
00:02Ask me why I'm here.
00:03You know, I ask myself that question every day.
00:05That was Paula, my agent, with big news about my book, Heat Wave.
00:09Are they really making a Nicky Heat movie? Dude, did I call it or what?
00:12And you are about to be immortalized on the silver screen.
00:15Yeah, I'd like to report a murder. I did it.
00:17He called to report his crime.
00:19It's like he did this for fun.
00:21Nicky Heat. He dedicated this murder to me.
00:24Nicky Heat, I presume.
00:25It's Beckett.
00:27Special Agent Jordan Shaw.
00:28Tell me everything you know about Jordan Shaw.
00:29She's like the federal you.
00:31If our killer is obsessed with Nicky Heat, then so are we.
00:33So how long have you two been sleeping together?
00:35Excuse me?
00:36I am not going to leave you alone.
00:39Why don't you two escort the body to the morgue once you're dressed, of course.
00:44B-U-R-Burn.
00:46Nicky will burn.
00:47Somebody always has to die, Nicky.
00:49If the man in the window was Ben Conrad, he would have shot himself on the left side.
00:53Ben's not our killer.
00:54Beckett.
00:55What castle?
00:56He wasn't Ben Conrad.
00:57He's not the killer.
00:58The killer's still alive.
00:59The killer's still alive.
01:00Goodbye, Nicky.
01:01Goodbye, Nicky.
01:02Goodbye, Nicky.
01:03Goodbye, Nicky.
01:04Goodbye, Nicky.
01:05Goodbye, Nicky.
01:06Goodbye, Nicky.
01:08Goodbye, Nicky.
01:09Kate?
01:10Are you with me?
01:35KATE?
01:36Kate!
01:49Kate!
01:52You're alive.
01:54Oh, you're naked.
01:55Castle, turn around!
01:58You know, your apartment is on fire.
02:01Now might not be the best time for modesty.
02:03Castle, hand me a towel.
02:06The towels are on fire.
02:08But what about the bathrobe?
02:09Do you have anything to wear that's not flammable?
02:13Sorry.
02:15Give me your jacket.
02:18Don't look.
02:19I'm not.
02:21Don't look.
02:21I'm not looking.
02:23Okay.
02:28Right?
02:29Yeah.
02:30Okay.
02:31I dove into the tub just as a blue.
02:34Can you walk?
02:36Yeah, it's just a little banged up.
02:39Come on.
02:41Nice and easy.
02:42Yeah.
02:42Nice and easy.
02:44You need any pain?
02:46Well, not nearly as much as you.
02:48It's killing you, isn't it?
02:50What?
02:52Having to wait this long to tell me how you banged down the door?
02:55You want me to start from the beginning?
02:56You want me to do it?
03:03Hey, Brian.
03:03What are you doing?
03:06Beckett?
03:07How are you doing?
03:09Yeah, fine.
03:10What did you see when you came home?
03:11Yeah.
03:12The doors were locked.
03:13Like I left them.
03:14The windows were shut.
03:16I don't know.
03:16Nothing seemed out of place.
03:18But I don't know.
03:19You know?
03:20because i thought the case was done it's not but you are what till we find the right guy wait
03:29this is my apartment okay my life in my case okay fine
03:36my rules you do what i say when i say and how i say it and there will be a security
03:42detail on you at all times fine good fires out you can head up now if you want
03:50oh
04:01did anybody find my father's watch it's not the hole the damage isn't as bad in your bedroom
04:07but your clothes do smell like smoke and explosives does anyone know if insurance pays for dry cleaning
04:12i've got the blast seat here well it had to have been a small device otherwise i would have seen it
04:18the lab will have the breakdown by morning but that's cyclonite
04:21same thing we found in ben conrad's apartment
04:25so what tipped you it wasn't me it's castle
04:30well our supposed killer ben conrad shot himself with his right hand yet the man that detective
04:35beckett and i saw in the window was holding the gun in his left hand the shot went off just as soon as
04:39he stepped out of view he wouldn't have couldn't have had time to switch hands that fast a real
04:44killer shot ben conrad placed the gun in his hand making it look like a suicide we were outside the
04:49door we heard a shot there's no way else out of that apartment so if ben conrad didn't kill himself
04:56then our killer was in the apartment the whole time how the hell did we miss him let's go find out
05:08you guys take a look in here
05:19i think i found something what have you got
05:21maybe he's hiding place
05:32wow discarded clothing the exact same outfit conrad was wearing when we found him right down to the
05:43fake beard to match conrad's the killer wanted us to think he was conrad that's why the man that i
05:49saw in the window and went from our eyewitness accounts led us straight to ben which means the
05:55real ben conrad was being held hostage in his own apartment the entire case must have been bound and
06:02duct taped with no idea that he was being blamed for three murders each of our victims was carefully
06:08selected for their connection to ben conrad making him the perfect fancy the killer's a chameleon
06:14changing his identity to get close to the victims he becomes ben conrad becomes invisible nobody's
06:20looking for him and then we come here and we find exactly what we expect to find our suspect dead on
06:25the ground case closed meanwhile our killer was right here hidden in this secret room he was here the
06:31whole time and we missed him i'll get the evidence team down here see what they can find beckett you are
06:40supposed to be dead i'm sorry to disappoint you it was supposed to be over nikki it was supposed to be
06:46done but now now i have to keep going
07:10he used her cell phone and then he left it on so we could trace it gloria rodriguez it's her id
07:16badge from a hotel in midtown i'll be on the way home from work huh found a slug letter at you
07:24no it looks clean the other murders were planned this one was done out of anger
07:31when i'm being in control all because i lived i can't blame yourself for that
07:35how did he know you lived
07:42he was watching at the aftermath everything about this guy's profile tells me he was watching at
07:49the other crime scenes hey but the first thing we did was compare crime scene photos yeah i know
07:54we ran them through facial recognition but he was there i know he was there he wouldn't be in the
07:59crowd he'd know that's where we'd look no he hides in plain sight he's a chameleon we didn't see
08:05him in the crowd because he was dressed as one of us same cop 30 photos not one of them has a
08:13clear shot of his face that is not a coincidence he knew where the camera was he knows their playbook
08:20i'm gonna get ryan and esposito canvas the other uniforms maybe they can get a description not that
08:24it'll do any good the last sketch we got of this guy he looked like ben conrad okay do you have a
08:30better idea because i am all out and if we don't catch him soon he's going to kill again you can't
08:36take this personally the hell i can't he just blew up my apartment i think that's pretty damn personal
08:42do you know how they caught son of sam parking ticket bergowitz parked too close to a fire hydrant
08:47all we need to find is our parking ticket and we catch this son of a as smart as
08:52he is he's got a fatal flaw hubris it's not enough for him to be smart he wants us to know it he wants
08:58us to know he fooled us all of his first victims the personal injury lawyer the dog walker the taxidermist
09:08they all link back to the death of ben conrad's dog how could our killer have known all the players in
09:15someone else's life he must have known ben conrad so that's where we start we treat ben conrad as the
09:23first victim in this case and then we find out where he intersected with our killer
09:31dad hey hey oh hey oh i'm all right i'm all right where's detective beckett at the precinct
09:39can't imagine how she survived that explosion where was she when it went off she was there
09:44she uh jumped into the bathtub the bathroom door and the cast iron tub protected her from the blast
09:50oh dad why is that person going after detective beckett well at the moment all we have is a theory but
09:57we know more now and we have a strategy do you think we'll come after you oh sweetheart i'm gonna
10:02be fine you are stuck with me for a long long time you know i'm supposed to move out today i think i
10:06should stay here with alexis well there's no need montgomery has someone keeping an eagle eye on our
10:10building but all the same we should be on the alert
10:16i need to go change go back and help
10:26hey hey where is everybody ryan and esposito are talking to conrad's sister and
10:35agent shaw is briefing the mayor oh i'm sure he'll be less than thrilled to learn that conrad is
10:42just another victim nothing like the threat of being murdered by a serial killer to stifle tourism
10:47and it doesn't help that everyone in the city thinks that we caught the guy speaking of ben
10:52conrad what have you found out 34 years old never married i'm going out on a limb here saying judging
10:59from his relationship with his dog mr bumpkins he didn't have a girlfriend yeah well other than the
11:04people that we've already run down from the dog park he doesn't even have friends the man stuffed
11:08his dog well conrad's sister confirms that he was a loner told her when he lost his job a couple of
11:14months ago that he spent his days emailing resumes at coffee shops that offer free internet other than
11:19bumpkins his only other joy in life was at nick's poor guy jordan said the profile indicated that the
11:24killer hunted conrad he wasn't a friend then he must have met up with him somewhere where people
11:29strike up a casual conversation we figured if he camped out with his laptop at a coffee shop
11:33our killer could have sat down next to him they got to talking his sister said that he was a knicks
11:37fan what's missing from these pictures good taste there he wrote decent lighting a tv which means he
11:46would have to walk to a local bar in order to watch the games yeah if you're a knicks fan you got to
11:50share your pain with somebody true okay you two take all of the coffee shops within a five block radius
11:55of conrad's apartment see if anyone remembers him talking to a customer castle and i'll take the bars and if
12:00you keep quoting jordan i am going to turn the radio way up jealous
12:11well puff crawls are supposed to reach it with a smile and a shot of jaeger not no we've never seen
12:16the guy before keep moving this is beginning to feel pointless buck up castle i got a feeling this place
12:21is different it's still an ongoing investigation so we're going to need you to take that banner down
12:32i was just trying to work an angle you should understand what it's like being a woman in a man's
12:37world uh did ben conrad ever talk to you about the recent death of his dog sure he loved to flap his gums
12:46to me about that little drop kick one time he cried well what about the other customers he ever
12:51talked to them he mostly drank alone and watched the games well a couple of weeks ago he did strike
12:55it up with some guy can you describe him average looking a bit off like conrad he sat at that high
13:01top over there i figured hey words of a feather this other guy did he ever pay with a credit card the only
13:09time he ever said two words to me was the other week when he asked me to call him a cab do you remember
13:13when i remember exactly when the knicks were in overtime and i missed the end while i was on hold
13:19thanks cab company said that they sent a taxi there 10 45 the night of the knicks game got the drop-off
13:25point yeah west village corner of varick and downing home you know i've had about 50 000 people live
13:32within walking distance of that corner we could canvas local businesses for an average looking white guy
13:38i mean we can't even be sure what he looks like looks aren't the only method we have to
13:43identify him we also have behavior you think you can identify him through behavior well originally
13:48his behavior seemed inconsistent but that was because he was pretending to be someone else
13:53we know a lot more now he is the show off a game player with an exceptionally high iq but it's not
14:01enough to be smart he also has a pathological need to validate it which tells me that he probably belongs
14:09to an organization like mensa or prometheus he is a chameleon so we can assume that he is living under
14:17a stolen identity and he is literate he's already shown certain dispositions in his fascination with
14:25nikki heat so we've drawn up a list of periodicals and magazines that he likely subscribes to
14:32i get half of these yes and you've also killed people for a living in your books this is a pretty
14:40wide net so is varick and downing and so our memberships and high iq societies but put them
14:48all together and sometimes we get lucky you mean like berkowitz's parking ticket oh it's not always
14:55that neat you just keep adding pieces of the puzzle until the picture emerges collated subscription
15:00information from the profile periodicals as well as member lists from the high iq organizations
15:04within a one mile radius of the varick and downy area you got 17 hits run the names through a database
15:13most serials have some kind of indication of violent behavior criminal or psychiatric records
15:20negative for any matches all right well this we gave it a shot i'll have our teams interview these
15:25guys huh what listen here chris doherty he's got a recent driver's license but according to his
15:32social security number chris doherty died six years ago he's living under a stolen identity
15:40so does it say where our dead guy supposedly lived
15:46his address puts him half a block from downing and beric okay now i'm officially impressed don't be
15:52not until he's in our custody let's roll
16:10go go go
16:11go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go
16:41I don't know.
17:11He's done this before.
17:34Hey, I signed this.
17:37To Scott, write what you know.
17:39Scott, do you remember him?
17:41No, but I signed hundreds of books.
17:44His manifesto?
17:46His manuscript.
17:47Dead Heat?
17:49Heat examined the bullets, each of them perfectly engraved with a letter.
17:53She rearranged them like scrapple tiles until they spelled her name.
17:57A book.
17:57All of this over a damn book.
18:00He was writing about his murders long before Nicky Heat.
18:03Night terrors.
18:04Looks like it's about killing prostitutes in Seattle.
18:07I don't remember that case.
18:09I thought they caught that guy.
18:11Not so much caught as found dead.
18:13He hanged himself.
18:14Another patsy, just like Ben Conrad.
18:16He gets away with murder.
18:19Why would he write about it?
18:20Why risk it?
18:22Writing is probably a symptom of the psychosis, like taking a trophy.
18:27He both memorializes the deed and distances himself from it, like turning fact into fiction.
18:32And then along comes Nicky Heat, tailor-made for his psychosis.
18:38One part fact, one part fiction, just like him.
18:43What better for him to challenge?
18:45Must have known.
18:46By going after Beckett, we'd realize Ben wasn't the killer.
18:49Why tip his hand?
18:50It's a part of the thrill.
18:52He needed to escalate in order to feel alive.
18:54Or, he's a psychotic, obsessive, compulsive, and has already decided how it has to end.
19:01Agent Shaw, I've been dusting for Prince trying to get an ID.
19:04Problem is, there aren't any.
19:06That's not possible.
19:07You can't live in a place without leaving Prince.
19:09Unless he doesn't have any.
19:11He likes to play with fire.
19:12Maybe he'd burn them off.
19:14Well, without Prince, we can't get an ID.
19:16We don't need an ID.
19:17Put this back where you found it.
19:18Let's unass this place right now.
19:20He's got to come back sometime.
19:24Agent Shaw, my surveillance team is moving into position now.
19:31Copy that.
19:32Standing by.
19:36Be advised.
19:38Our subject is a white male, 6'2", approximately 200 pounds.
19:42Profiles suggest he studied our tactics and has prepared for contingency, so communicate people.
19:48If he shows no one, I repeat, no one is to make a move until Agent Shaw gives the order.
19:54Man, it's all here.
19:56The engraved bullets, the cat and mouse phone calls, the cipher.
19:59Only it's Nikki Heat investigating, and she's always one step behind him.
20:03Till now.
20:04Castle, what part of unass, don't you understand?
20:08All of it.
20:10For future reference, it means get the hell out and don't take anything.
20:15Unass.
20:16Nice.
20:17Unass.
20:17Is he always like this?
20:20Castle has the attention span of a cocker spaniel.
20:24Oh, and the loyalty.
20:26The way he follows you around.
20:28From what I've observed, this unorthodox partnership worked well for you.
20:35For now.
20:37Good enough.
20:38Is it enough for you to hop on a Learjet six times a year, catching serial killers across
20:44the country?
20:45I'd be lying if I said it was easy.
20:48How do you manage?
20:51You miss a few birthdays and you make a lot of phone calls.
20:57My husband tucks her in every night.
21:00Tells her that mommy's off slaying dragons.
21:02The trick to this kind of operation is having enough personnel in play to take the target
21:10down, but not so many that he can smell a trap, which is why we have to get our people
21:14to go downwind.
21:16Avery, tell our guy on the roof to find another spot.
21:20I can see him from the street.
21:22Viggin?
21:22The guy on the roof.
21:24Southeast corner.
21:25One with the binocs.
21:27We don't have anybody up there.
21:29It's him.
21:30All units.
21:31Be advised.
21:32We have contacts.
21:33Southeast corner.
21:34Bedford and Downing.
21:36Subject is on the roof.
21:40We're blown.
21:41We're blown.
21:41All units.
21:42Go hot now.
21:47Stay in the van.
21:48You're the target.
21:52Now you know what it's like for me.
21:56Viggin.
21:59Viggin.
22:00Seal off the west side.
22:00That's him.
22:05He must have jumped the rooftops.
22:07He's getting away.
22:10Beckett!
22:11Wait!
22:12No.
22:12No.
22:13No.
22:13No.
22:20What's that?
22:20I'll be close.
22:22Pardon me.
22:29NYPD on the ground now!
22:34Get down!
22:35Stop!
22:44Stop!
22:45Police!
22:46No!
22:46Stop!
22:47Stop!
22:57Police!
22:58Watch, watch, watch, watch!
23:13Stop in 20 seconds.
23:18Please stand in there.
23:20Freeze image.
23:41Zoom in.
23:46Run it.
23:48Run in facial recognition.
23:53Scott Dunn.
23:54Busted, you smug jackhole.
23:56Lost a child, sealed juvie record, three-year stint in the Bay Area Psychiatric Institute, and a single arson conviction.
24:03Ray burns his hands in a fire.
24:05He hit all the cliches.
24:06Last seen February 15, 2004.
24:09Six years ago, he simply disappears.
24:11I want every bit of research you have on the sky on my desk half an hour.
24:17You know, I'll have my guy's contact on his family in case he reaches out.
24:20You're out.
24:21I'm sorry, what?
24:22I told you to stay in the van.
24:23I just broke this case.
24:24I need people backing me I can trust.
24:26Well, hold on a second.
24:27Sorry, detective.
24:28You're off the case.
24:33She's got jurisdiction.
24:34Beckett, there's nothing I can do.
24:35Sir, this is my case.
24:37He's coming after me.
24:38Like it or not, I'm already on the front line.
24:40You and Castle found him.
24:42That's the hard part.
24:43They've frozen his financials.
24:44They've alerted TSA.
24:45His face is all over the news.
24:46We got him cornered.
24:47And you're the one who taught me that when you have an animal cornered, that that's when
24:51they're the most unpredictable.
24:52Yes, and that's also when they make mistakes.
24:54He does something stupid, and we will take him down.
24:56And you've been running flat out for days.
24:58You need to go home and get some sleep.
24:59Sir, I don't have a home.
25:01Yes, you do.
25:02It's a secure building with an extra bedroom with people who care about you.
25:07With the federal detail at the door, it's the safest place in the city.
25:10Thank you, Castle, but I couldn't.
25:11You can, and you will.
25:14Detective, I took that security off of your apartment, and that gave him an opportunity
25:18to get to you.
25:19And I'm not going to make the same mistake twice.
25:21Consider it an order.
25:23Well, who would have thought that I would be homeless and caseless in one day?
25:36I know I'm the king of going rogue, but you were right to chase after Dunn.
25:41And Agent Shaw was right to kick me off the case.
25:44I would have done the same thing if I was in her spot.
25:46I'm too close to it.
25:48I'm sure after all this, you're a little sorry you let me follow you around.
25:52No, not this.
25:54All the other annoying things that you do, but not this.
25:58What about you?
26:00Are you sorry that you ever wrote Heat Wave?
26:02The way I look at it now, if it wasn't for Nicky Heat, this guy would have just gone on killing
26:06because he wouldn't have met anyone smart enough to catch him.
26:09I'm speaking, of course, about Special Agent Shaw.
26:15Night, Castle.
26:17Good night.
26:19First thing in the morning, I'll check your homework, okay?
26:23It's time for you to get some sleep.
26:26Okay.
26:28Aw, I love you too, sweetie.
26:33Good night.
26:35Hello, Jordan.
26:53Martha.
26:54Kate.
26:55I'm here on orders from the FBI.
27:10Darling, I'm hardly the one to judge.
27:12I'm sorry, I wouldn't impose, but my place is...
27:15Ashes.
27:16No, I know.
27:17Well, that explains the pat down by the hunky guy with the earbud.
27:22I assumed it was Richard making a dramatic statement about the conditions for my dropping by unannounced.
27:27I just woke up and literally smelled the coffee and the bacon.
27:32Dropping by to return your key?
27:34Very funny.
27:35Very funny.
27:36Very funny.
27:37No, I am looking for my aqua gloves because these flash.
27:41Well, she cooks.
27:43Actually, my mom was an amazing cook.
27:46She used to make a Sunday brunch, and I would get the choice between pancakes, omelets, waffles.
27:53Wow, that's funny.
27:54Every Sunday, my mom would have me make her an ice pack and a Bloody Mary.
27:57Hmm.
27:58Don't listen to him.
27:59That only happened twice.
28:01Tops.
28:02There, my girl.
28:05Oh, I missed you.
28:07I missed you.
28:08Choppa, choppa, choppa.
28:09You'd think it was months.
28:10It's been a day.
28:12Excuse me.
28:16Beckett.
28:20Okay, I'll be right there.
28:23Castle, that was Agent Avery.
28:25Jordan never made it home last night.
28:38She left the precinct just after 9.
28:40Her husband said she never came home.
28:42What about the car?
28:43Stationary at this location since the transmitter was activated 20 minutes ago.
28:47Our vehicle security tech said this was his way in.
28:50So he was already in the car waiting for her when she got in.
28:57The purse is still in here.
28:59There's no bullet hole.
29:00Medium velocity spatter.
29:02So he leans in from behind, she elbows him in the nose.
29:07He recoils, and a blood trail flies from that direction.
29:12She took a shot.
29:14And left us some breadcrumbs.
29:21Here's another one.
29:22Then another one here.
29:24His nose is still bleeding, but he has Jordan at gunpoint.
29:29And he brings her to here where there's a car waiting.
29:31There's tire treads.
29:32Let's run down reports of all stolen vehicles from the past 24 hours.
29:39Beckett.
29:40There's nothing like the bond between girlfriends, is there, Nikki?
29:43You must really miss her.
29:45Where is she?
29:46Safe.
29:47For now.
29:48If you hurt her, I will-
29:50Well, that all depends on you, doesn't it?
29:52This is your story, Nikki, not hers.
29:55She's just an extra.
29:56The showdown only works if it's between you and me.
29:59Come to the Battery Park Ferry Terminal at midnight tonight, Nikki.
30:02And come alone, or she dies.
30:05How can I be sure she's still alive?
30:07I'll send you an email.
30:16Say hi to your friends, Agent Shaw.
30:18I've got a hell done.
30:20I don't care if it's your story, Detective.
30:22I'm bringing her back alive.
30:23It's not my story, it's his.
30:26And if Agent Shaw was here, she'd say the same thing.
30:29Whatever he's got planned, it's a trap.
30:30If I don't show up, she dies.
30:32But if you do, you both die.
30:34We need to get to him before the exchange.
30:36We traced the email's IP address to an internet cafe in Midtown.
30:40Not that it helps us find her.
30:45There's no reflective surfaces, and the windows are all blacked out.
30:48Not all of them.
30:49Look.
30:52Let's out that window.
30:54Agent Avery, if you don't mind me rejoining this investigation,
30:57I suggest we take this party next door.
30:59Zoom in.
31:00What are those?
31:04Buildings?
31:05Bridge towers.
31:06Call up all the bridges in the city, see if our partial view fits.
31:13Ah, a Whitestone.
31:15That means we're looking south and east.
31:16But we still need another coordinate to find them on the axis.
31:19Play the audio again.
31:20But this time without the voices.
31:25And get rid of all the traffic as well.
31:29That's a subway.
31:31And not just any subway.
31:32Those are elevated tracks.
31:33I'll pull up the subway map.
31:35See where it intersects with the approximate line of sight.
31:37That's the IRT Pelham Line.
31:38What's the stop that intersects?
31:39Zarega Avenue Station.
31:40Got it.
31:41Got it.
31:421756, 48th Avenue, The Bronx.
31:43Have hostage rescue team meet us there.
31:44Got it.
31:451756, 48th Avenue, The Bronx.
31:46Have hostage rescue team meet us there.
31:47Standing by.
31:48This is the place.
31:49What's the stop that intersects?
31:52What's the stop that intersects?
31:53Zarega Avenue Station.
32:04Got it.
32:051756, 48th Avenue, The Bronx.
32:08Have hostage rescue team meet us there.
32:14Standing by.
32:16This is the place.
32:17The building's supposed to be abandoned.
32:18Thermo confirms the hot spot on the fourth floor.
32:20That's where he's holding there.
32:21Team's gonna enter on the blind side of the building.
32:23This is wrong.
32:25What's wrong?
32:26I feel like Princess Leia when the Millennium Falcon
32:28escaped the Death Star.
32:29It's too easy.
32:30What do you mean, too easy?
32:31I mean the sneak peek out the window,
32:33waiting to record the message just as the train was going by.
32:35He led us here.
32:36You remember how perfect everything was with Conrad.
32:38Yeah, I got the trap memo too.
32:39That doesn't mean I'm gonna sit on my ass and do nothing.
32:41That's my partner up there.
32:45She'll be dead the moment you breach that door.
32:48That's why we're not gonna breach.
32:49Hostage exchange goes down at midnight.
32:51That means he has to move it before then.
32:53We move in quietly, take position.
32:55And then as soon as Dunn comes out?
32:57I'll put him down.
32:59Like the rabid dog he is.
33:07Make an entry to the south side.
33:27I don't know how he's doing it, but he's not up there.
33:42And what are you basing that on?
33:43I don't know how I know, I just...
33:45You just what?
33:46Castle, you and I have known each other long enough for me to know that sometimes your silly theories are right.
33:57So if you have a reason to believe that he's not up there, then you need to tell me why now.
34:02Just because...
34:06It's not how I would write it.
34:08What happens in your version?
34:10He lets us think we've found him to lure us here.
34:13Let's the FBI converge on the building when he's not in there.
34:16Where is he?
34:17You're by, watching, watching it all unfold.
34:20He's got something planned.
34:22If it were me, I'd wait until they all got inside, got settled into position, and then I'd blow the building.
34:32Where is he watching from?
34:34I don't know.
34:36He wants to show he's smarter than us, so he'd be somewhere close by and out of the way.
34:42Castle, if it were you, where would you be watching from?
34:47I wouldn't be watching from this building where they are.
34:50I'd be watching from here.
34:56Come on.
35:09Here.
35:10Want me to hold it while you tie your shoe?
35:12No, I want you to take it, just in case.
35:17Boy, that's all.
35:19All right, let's go.
35:20Give me another ring.
35:21I'm almost sad to see it come to an end agent, Shaw.
35:25You know, I'd expected more from you.
35:26I heard such a great week.
35:27Castle, he's there.
35:28I'm gonna draw him away.
35:29You free Agent Shaw and get some help.
35:30Castle, you're my only backup.
35:32Okay, go.
35:33You're my only backup.
35:34Okay, go.
35:35Okay.
35:36Okay.
35:37I thought it was me you were after.
35:38I thought it was me you were after.
35:39I thought it was me you were after.
35:40I thought it was me you were after.
35:46Nikki.
35:47Nikki.
35:48You came.
35:49You came.
35:50You came.
35:51You're my only backup.
35:52I thought it was me you were after.
35:56I thought it was me you were after.
35:57I thought it was me you were after.
35:58I thought it was me you were after.
36:03I thought it was me you were after.
36:04I thought it was me you were after.
36:09Nikki.
36:11You came?
36:14I thought it was me.
36:17I thought it was me.
36:21Put your hands up, Dunn, or I'll take you down.
