00:03Gentleman from California is recognized for 30 seconds.
00:05Mr. Speaker, this partisan tax bill will be our nation's single largest self-inflicted wound
00:11to working families and to our economy. It's the largest unfunded tax break for the wealthiest
00:18families and will lead to the largest number of working families losing health care. What's worse
00:24is that you're fooling yourself to believe it's paid for. Instead, it adds trillions to our
00:29debt that will drag down our economy and our credibility. And rather than negotiating with
00:35Democrats, you're just placating the president. So I'm voting no, Mr. Speaker, on this partisan
00:40bill to stand up to the president and to stand with working families and to stand for the
00:45financial stability of our country and the credibility of this institution. Thank you,
00:50Mr. Speaker. I yield back.
