00:00Hello there, welcome to your morning weather forecast from the Met Office. Temperatures
00:05climbing quickly through the day today, but it's not dry everywhere. We do have low pressure
00:10across the north and west of the UK, introducing some cloud and some heavy rain across Northern
00:15Ireland and Scotland as we move through the day. But it is a hot picture across England
00:19and Wales, particularly towards the southeast where temperatures could be around 34, maybe
00:24even 35 Celsius. So looking at the details, some low cloud initially this morning, but
00:29for much of England and Wales, this largely moves back towards coastal stretches. Across
00:34Northern England, Northern Ireland and Scotland, a cloudier day to come with some outbreaks of
00:39rain moving across Northern Ireland, Western Scotland. Some of this rain could be heavy
00:43at times, could lead to some localised flooding as we move through the afternoon into the evening
00:48time. But bright skies across Eastern Scotland, some sunnier spells here. And if we look at
00:53the temperatures under the cloud and rain, generally reaching the low 20s, perhaps in the sunshine,
00:58Eastern Scotland towards the mid 20s. But across England and Wales, higher than the weekend,
01:02largely the mid to high 20s for many of us. And then the low 30s across central and eastern parts
01:09of England, 34, 35 towards the London area. The heat of the day could spark one or two heavy showers
01:15across eastern England as we move through the afternoon into the evening time. But it will be
01:19a hot start to Wimbledon. And also for those leaving across Glastonbury, temperatures around
01:2529, 30 Celsius. You may need some extra water for your journeys back. Through the evening time,
01:32heavy rain across Northern Ireland, pushing eastwards into the rest of Scotland, perhaps
01:37Northern England too. One or two heavy showers still possible across eastern parts. But this weatherfront
01:41slowly pushes southeastwards overnight to the far southeast of England. It's another warm, humid
01:47night to come tonight. Temperatures not falling much below 20 Celsius. But notice the fresher air
01:53starting to move in Northern Ireland and Scotland here. Minimum temperatures back down to 11 or 12
01:58Celsius. It's a sunny start here on Tuesday morning. Dry for many. Just one or two showers across
02:04the far northwest. This weather front though lingers across southwest England into Wales,
02:09the Midlands, Northern England, Southern Scotland. Thick enough to give some outbreaks of rain at times
02:14through the day. But sunshine to the southeast of this. And again, some strong UV developing around
02:20seven or eight on the index. And those temperatures rising as well. 34, 35 Celsius. So another hot day to
02:27come at Wimbledon. Under the cloud and rain, temperatures around the low 20s. And in the sunny spells
02:34across Scotland and Northern Ireland. Again, high teens to low 20s here. But some fresher feeling
02:38air. Into the evening time on Tuesday, this weather front only slowly pushes a little further
02:44southeastwards. But it eventually introduces that fresher air to all parts. A mixture of sunny spells
02:49and showers is expected through the rest of the week. And temperatures largely around the high teens
02:54to low 20s for many of us. If you'd like more information on the weather where you are, you can follow
