00:00All right, Glastonbury, sing it!
00:30Well, hello there. Welcome back. We continue Glastonbury 2025. Just delighted to be here, aren't we, Lauren?
00:51It's been smashing so far, and it's only day one of the music.
00:54It is only day one. It's been an incredible day of music so far.
00:57And over the next hour, we're going to be celebrating some Glastonbury debuts,
01:01because can you believe it? The icon that is Alanis Morissette has never played Glastonbury until now.
01:07How can it be true?
01:07It is true, isn't it ironic? Don't you think? I really did that, didn't I? But I'm delighted I did.
01:13So Alanis Morissette, you'll be seeing her later on in the show, also making their Glastonbury debut.
01:17The incredible En Vogue. All that's still to come.
01:20So much to come. And of course, tonight, all roads lead to our headliners.
01:23The 1975. We'll bring you that on iPlayer and on BBC One later.
01:28But before we chat to our next artist, I think we should turn the clock back a few hours
01:32and catch her Glastonbury debut on the Pyramid stage for the very first time.
01:36This is CMAT.
01:37Ever since I was a little girl
01:52I only wanted to be sexy
01:57Nine years old, trying to wax my legs with tape
02:04There are some things on me I can't see
02:11A little spot that can't be lifted
02:15On my left hand
02:18Digging like a khaki
02:22So you see
02:25I've been having a horrible time
02:31I'm late
02:31I can't know
02:33Sympathy but all of the greatness
02:36And the progress
02:38And then it's too much for therapy
02:43Oh baby
02:45Oh baby
02:45Keep my solution
02:48And take a sexy picture
02:51Take a sexy picture of me
02:54Oh, oh, oh, oh
02:57And make me look 16er
02:59Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
03:01Listen
03:02I did the butcher
03:04I did the baker
03:05I did the home of the family maker
03:07I did schoolgirl fantasies
03:11Oh, I did light things
03:13And hand stuff
03:14And single woman banter
03:17Now tell me what was in it for me
03:20Glastonbury!
03:21I've been having
03:23A horrible time
03:26I'm late again
03:27I know
03:28Sympathy but all of the pain
03:31And the foggy
03:33And the foggy
03:34And that it's too much for therapy
03:38Oh baby
03:39Oh baby
03:40Keep my solution
03:42And take a sexy picture
03:45Take a sexy picture of me
03:48Oh, oh, oh, oh
03:51And make me look 15er
03:53Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
03:56You haven't looked at me the same
03:59Since I turned 27
04:01Since I turned 27
04:02Where goes my potential?
04:04Oh, she's up in heaven
04:06Rest in peace to any chance of me
04:08Dating within the station
04:10Ah, ah, what?
04:12Ah, ah, what?
04:14No doctor with hope can grant diagnosis
04:20I peel through the forms
04:22There's no cure for otis
04:25I hear the message to the party girls
04:27Dragged out by their ankles
04:29I'm here if you need me, deep in your eyes
04:35I've been having horrible times
04:40Late again, I know
04:42The sympathy but all of the pain is
04:45And the fog is
04:48And that it's too much for me
04:52Oh baby, be my solution
04:57And take a sexy picture
05:00Take a sexy picture
05:03Can't you see me weirdo
05:05Take a sexy picture of me
05:08And make me look for a teen
05:13Or like ten, or like five
05:18Or like two, like a baby
05:21Whoever is the chick on her love
05:24Seems being nice to me
05:27The brilliant Seamat on the Pyramid Stage
05:33Earlier today
05:33She joins us now
05:34Congratulations on that show Seamat
05:37And Pyramid debut for you
05:39So a really big deal
05:40How did it feel from your point of view?
05:43I was so scared
05:45I was so scared
05:46I've been having nightmares
05:48About that gig since probably November
05:50But they were really ramping up
05:52In the last two or three weeks
05:53Like I kind of imagine
05:55We like walked out of the Pyramid Stage
05:56And then it was all seven band members
05:59But it was the size of my childhood bedroom
06:01And then Willie, my bassist, like fell off
06:04And like into muck
06:06And then he couldn't get out
06:07Because he was like a turtle
06:08And then my keyboardist column
06:09Started like weeping
06:10And forgetting the words and stuff
06:11Like I was having horrible nightmares
06:13For like three weeks
06:14So as long as none of that happened
06:15We're good, right?
06:16None of that happened
06:17No weeping, no mud
06:19No one booed me
06:20No one booed me
06:21People were cheering for you
06:23Which is great
06:24It was incredible to see
06:26Like have you taken it in properly
06:28In this moment or?
06:30I couldn't like talk to anyone
06:32For about three hours
06:33After I came off the stage
06:34Like people were like
06:35Well done
06:35I was like
06:35Like I was really
06:38I don't think I'm going to process it
06:39For probably three to five business months
06:42Like I, yeah
06:43I still, like I can't believe
06:45That it's in the past
06:47And not the future
06:48And this is one of the funny things
06:50You know, Glastonbury
06:51You get to see your progression
06:52And we do too as music fans
06:54So we can see from, you know
06:55The last time you were here
06:56To this time
06:57Like a huge crowd
06:58And that was like a headline sized crowd
07:00I mean absolutely amazing
07:01What's that like for you
07:03Looking out
07:03And reflecting back on everything
07:05That's happened over the past year
07:06I think for me
07:08Everything about it is amazing
07:11And so great
07:11And so wonderful
07:12But it feels like a bit of a victory lap
07:14For the band
07:16And the crew
07:17Because as much as I am
07:19A big diva
07:20And I'm like
07:21Oh everything's about me
07:22Actually there was
07:24Six other people on that stage
07:26Who are
07:26All really stupid
07:28Silly
07:29People
07:30I'm not going to swear
07:31Who
07:32Well done
07:32Please don't
07:33Thank you
07:33Work harder than anyone
07:36I've ever met
07:36And have done
07:38Every stupid thing
07:39I've asked them to do
07:40And wear silly little costumes
07:42That match
07:42And make them look like
07:43Air hostesses
07:44The blue was very fetching
07:46It was so stupid looking
07:48But it must have been hot
07:49That was what
07:50The PVC and the tights
07:51Must have been hot
07:51It was
07:52But it looked good
07:53So I didn't really care
07:53And again it's like
07:55My stylist Mia
07:56My hair makeup artist Niall
07:58Like my sister Roshin
07:59Who's like working as my day to day
08:01And like
08:01There's so many people
08:03That are involved
08:04In putting on a show like that
08:06But nowhere near as many
08:08As you would think
08:08And so everyone is like
08:10Everyone has been treating
08:12The pyramid stage slot
08:13Like it's their wedding day
08:15There's like
08:15Basically like 20 odd people
08:17Who it's all
08:17They've been able to talk about
08:18And the fact that it's like
08:20Centered around me and my songs
08:21Is just like insane
08:22But it just felt like
08:24A real victory lap
08:24For the whole crew
08:25It was insane
08:26It was so insane
08:27Victory lap really is
08:28I think the most astute way
08:29To describe it
08:30Because you know
08:30There are some people
08:31That may think
08:31You just appeared this year
08:33But you've been doing this
08:34Album number three
08:35Yeah
08:35Incoming in August
08:36How are you feeling about it?
08:38Really good
08:38I mean
08:39Everyone says it's like
08:41This is my best album
08:42Yeah
08:42My most personal work to date
08:43It's my most personal work to date
08:45It's like my most autobiographical
08:46I do think
08:48It's actually my best record
08:49Because
08:50I mean
08:51The three singles off
08:52It's so far
08:53Have already
08:54Far and away
08:54Become like
08:55My three biggest songs
08:56So I think
08:56That's like a good enough inkling
08:58That gives you a good enough inkling
08:59Of where it's going
09:00But also
09:01It just feels like
09:03I really
09:04I don't know
09:06I just feel like
09:06I
09:07Because I've made so many albums
09:08In such a short amount of time
09:09I feel like
09:10I got really good
09:11At making records
09:11And so
09:12The wheels were very greased
09:14And I was like
09:15Very on
09:16And I knew exactly
09:17What I was doing on this one
09:18And it's all like
09:19It's really resulted
09:20In like
09:21The most success
09:22I've ever had
09:23In a very short amount of time
09:24So far
09:24But I don't think
09:26I can make another one
09:26For a while
09:27It's another thing
09:28Because it really took a lot out of me
09:29Honestly
09:30Don't
09:31You've got all the nightmares
09:32You've nailed Glastonbury
09:34Exactly
09:34The record's ready to go
09:35Don't worry about what comes next
09:36Just enjoy this moment
09:37Yeah
09:38In fact there was a review of you today
09:40Five stars
09:40It gave you for your performance
09:41That called you
09:42A preposterously fun pop star
09:44So take that
09:45Accurate
09:46Put it in your back pocket
09:47Thank you
09:48And just enjoy the success
09:49Of like this next wave
09:50Thank you
09:51That is a future tattoo
09:52Isn't it
09:53In the making
09:53Preposterously fun
09:54Right now
09:55Speaking of preposterously fun
09:56I wonder what the Glastonbury site
09:58Looks like
09:59From the cow barn
10:00Which is my favourite position
10:01On the site
10:02Jill Wiley is there right now
10:03And I think she can probably tell us
10:05I can
10:06I can
10:06I'm up at the hill
10:07I've actually hired
10:07Beyonce's wind machine
10:09You know when she performed here
10:10And she had the wind machine
10:10But mine is turned up to 11
10:12So bear with me
10:13I am up by the cow barn
10:14Just to give you this
10:15Beautiful view behind me
10:16Can you see
10:16The patchwork quilt
10:18Of all the tents behind
10:19You've got the pyramid stage
10:20Where Biffy Clyro
10:21Will be on a little bit later on
10:22And we'll bring you those as well
10:23But it's been an amazing day
10:25I think the buzzword
10:26Really is exuberance
10:27From the crowd
10:28And also the performers
10:29Like stakes are really
10:30High
10:30You're performing on these stages
10:32To a massive crowd
10:32But also to all of you
10:34Wherever you are
10:34So they've all nailed it
10:36I think
10:36From the likes of
10:37Wet Leg
10:37Franz Ferdinand
10:40Also Supercross
10:41And the Glastonbury Choir
10:42Just kind of supporting
10:44All of these people
10:45Singing along
10:45It's been a really
10:46Really wonderful day
10:47So far
10:48Here are some of the many artists
10:49Who will be bringing you
10:50All over the weekend
10:51It's like rain
10:55Alanis Morissette
10:58I know what it is
10:59Just like a sun
11:02Loyal Conor
11:03The 1975
11:10Sound of your heart
11:12What's it gonna be
11:14Cause
11:14En Vogue
11:15I can't stand up
11:18A 360
11:18When you're in my memory
11:20Charlie XCX
11:21I'm in my memory
11:22You're just looking at me
11:23Falling everywhere
11:23I'm so Julia
11:24Dolce
11:29Scissor Sisters
11:42Patchwork
11:49Ray
11:53I'm a fire starter
11:58To this big fire starter
12:00The Prodigy
12:01I want your love
12:05I want your love
12:08Niall Rogers and Sheik
12:10Olivia Rodrigo
12:16And Rod Stewart
12:22What a line up
12:29Still confused about
12:30Patchwork though
12:31Clara
12:32But alas
12:35Nothing we can say
12:36Until
12:36Until that moment
12:38We can reveal something
12:39For you now
12:39This is live music
12:40From earlier on today
12:41Alanis Morissette
12:42Making her Glastonbury debut
12:44Enjoy
12:45Thank you
12:55I want your love
12:56I want my love
12:57To the people
12:59And a book
13:00I want my love
13:02To the people
13:03To the people
13:03In the middle of the world
13:04And a book
13:05I want my love
13:06To the people
13:07Yeah.
13:11Yeah.
13:13Yeah.
13:15Yeah.
13:17Oh, man.
13:19Yeah.
13:21An old man.
13:23He's on.
13:25In here.
13:27Yeah.
13:29He's on.
13:31Yeah.
13:33He's on.
13:35He's on.
13:37He's on.
13:39He's on.
13:41He's on.
13:43Isn't it ironic?
13:45Don't you think?
13:47It's like rain.
13:51On your wedding day.
13:53It's a free ride.
13:57When you're already paid.
13:59It's a good voice.
14:03Just enjoy.
14:05And who are the star?
14:07It's figures.
14:11Mr. Blair's shape.
14:13It was a great try.
14:15He packed his suitcase.
14:19He kissed his kiss goodbye.
14:21He made it his whole demise.
14:25To take that flight.
14:27And as the plane crashed down.
14:29We thought.
14:31Well, isn't this nice?
14:33And isn't it I've gone?
14:35Don't you think?
14:37It's like rain.
14:39Your actions.
14:41Happy days.
14:45your heart.
14:47Your heart.
14:49Your heart.
14:52Good work.
14:55Your heart.
14:57Your heart.
14:59His other figures.
15:01Well, life feels a funny way
15:04She get up on you when you think everything's okay
15:08Everything's going right
15:12Yeah, well, life feels a funny way
15:15I'm coming out when you think everything's gone wrong
15:19And everything blows up in your face
15:24The traffic jam
15:27When you're only lazy
15:31Smoking time on your cigarette break
15:36It's like 10,000 spoons
15:39And all you need is lying
15:42Between the man of my dreams
15:44Meeting his beautiful husband
15:48So many times
15:50Isn't it ironic?
15:53Don't you think
15:55A little too ironic
15:59Yeah, really, really, really
16:01Things like reading
16:04And on your wedding, you're late
16:07It's a free ride
16:10We've already paid
16:13And on your wedding, you're late
16:19And on your wedding
16:21And you're late
16:22And on your annuity
16:25Besides these verlies
16:26You and your family
16:27You and your friend
16:28You and your friends
16:29You and your spirit
16:32And you're mad
16:33And you're mad
16:34And you're mad
16:35So many times
16:36domains
16:38You're mad
16:39But you're mad
16:40And you're mad
16:42You're mad
16:43Hey, yeah, yeah, yeah, oh
17:13Are you still mad? I kept you out of bed
17:28Are you still mad? I gave you alternators
17:36Are you still mad? I compared you to all I afford
17:42You're old male friends
17:45Are you still mad? I shared our problems with everybody
17:51Of course you are
17:59Of course you are
18:05Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
18:12Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
18:42My sweaters on backwards and inside out
18:50And you say, yeah, yeah, yeah, appropriate
18:53Don't accept everything today
18:58I don't mean to make you a part of the sea
19:00But I could, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
19:03Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
19:06Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
19:11Slapped me with a splintered killer
19:14It would knock me to the bottom of the army
19:20If only I could hunt the hunter, yeah
19:25And all I really want is some patience
19:30A way to calm me and break my soul
19:35And all I really want is deliverance
19:40I, ha, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, oh
19:46Do I wear you out?
19:49You must wanna mind my letless and all struck out
19:52I'm consumed by the chill of solitary
19:55Warm like a cellar
19:58I like to reel them in and then spit them out
20:02A frustrated by your apathy
20:04In my account of this land
20:12If only I could meet the maker
20:16I am fascinated by a spiritual woman
20:22I am humbled by her humble nature
20:26What I would give to my soul
20:32Tell me what else to catch this drift
20:36What I wouldn't give to me like a bird
20:56What I would give to my soul
21:02What I would give to my soul
21:04Nothing about you
21:06It's time for my life
21:08The conflicts, the craziness
21:12A shound, a shound of pretence
21:13If I ride a horse
21:17Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
21:23Why am I so petrified of silence
21:29Here, can we handle this?
21:34Did you think about your bills, your ex, your dirt lions
21:40Or when you think you're gonna die
21:42Or did you long for the next distraction
21:45Not only now is it time to try to curse
21:52My soul to dig the hole much deeper
21:56I have no concept of trial
22:01I have no concept of trial
22:02I have no concept of trial
22:03If only I could kill the killer
22:06Yeah
22:07And all I really want
22:10Is some peaceful
22:12A place to find the common
22:16God, I really want
22:18And all I really want
22:20Is a way that
22:23Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
22:28And all I really want
22:31Is some comfort
22:33A way to get my hands
22:37And tell my heart
22:39And tell my real

26:39Mr. Delicite
26:41I hate to bug you
26:43In the middle of dinner
26:45But it was a slap in the face
26:48How quickly I was replaced
26:50And are you thinking of me
26:53When you're up
26:55It's the love that you gave
26:57That we made
26:58Was unable to make it

27:18I'll let you love me well
27:22It's not fair
27:25To deny the way
27:28I'm outside there
27:31But you can get into my
27:32Yo, yo, yo
27:34I don't know
27:36But you can get into your
27:38I don't know
27:40I'm outside there

28:29And you know, every time I scratch my nails down
28:35Someone else's back, I hope you feel it
28:38Well, can you fit what I have to remind you
28:46Unless you love me, well, why?
28:50It's not fair to deny a lie
28:55I'm offside, girl, but you don't know
28:59You're so hard to know
29:02I have to remind you
29:07I'll let you love me, well, why?
29:11It's not fair to deny a lie
29:16I'm offside, but you're saying to me
29:20No, no, no, I don't know
29:24Thank you so much!
29:32Mr. Cedric Lemayne on bass
29:37applause
30:38I have simply wanted an object to crave, but you, you're not alone, you're out in my chair.
30:58An unfortunate sight.
31:05Must be strangely exciting to watch the stars squirt.
31:31Must be somewhat hurtful.
31:41But you, you're not alone, you're in my chair.
32:01An unfortunate sight.
32:08Like any uncharted territory.
32:28I must seem great intrigued.
32:37You speak of my love like you have experienced the right mind for.
32:50But death is not alone.
32:57You're in my chair.
33:01An unfortunate sight.
33:08I don't think you are worthy.
33:30I don't think you are worthy.
33:34But I need a moment to liberate.
33:42I don't think you are worthy.
33:43I don't think you are worthy.
33:45I don't think you are worthy.
33:47I don't think you are worthy.
33:48I don't think you are worthy.
34:56Thank you so much.
35:08Mr. Mike Farrell on keyboards.
35:10Such a blast being here with you.
35:16This is bucket list joy for us.
35:20An honor.
35:22This song is for you.
35:23This song is for you.
35:35This song is for you.
36:05How about getting off all these antibiotics?
36:14How about stopping heating when I am full of love?
36:21How about them transparent dangling carrots?
36:31How about that affair I lose a good old?
36:41Thank you, India.
36:46Thank you, terror.
36:48Thank you, disillusionment.
36:53Thank you, frailty.
36:56Thank you, consequence.
36:58Thank you, thank you, silence.
37:05How about me not blame me over everything?
37:11How about me enjoying the moment for once?
37:21How about how good it feels to finally forgive you?
37:27How about how good it feels to finally forgive you?
37:36How about grieving it all one half a time?
37:41How about my effect?
37:42How about broad opening everything but life?
37:43dag
37:47How about
38:02Yes, I left.
38:06The moment I let go, yeah.
38:10Was the moment I got more than I could have.
38:16No, the moment I jumped off the bed.
38:20Was the moment I touched down.
38:24How about no longer be in my socket shape?
38:36How about remembering your divinity?
38:46How about a bash and leave all in your eyes out?
38:54How about not equating death with stopping?
39:06Thank you, Iliad.
39:08Thank you, Providence.
39:11Thank you, disillusionment.
39:16Thank you, nothingness.
39:18Thank you, Terry.
39:20Thank you, thank you, silence.
39:26Yeah, yeah.
39:27Yeah, yeah.
39:28Yeah, yeah.
39:31No, no.
39:34No, oh, oh, oh.
39:38No, oh, oh, oh.
39:44No, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh.
40:14I love you so much.
40:22Take care, Michelle.
40:35No, Alanis, thank you.
40:37Quite literally, making her Glastonbury debut.
40:40Alanis Morissette, Jack Littlepill,
40:4230 years old now, that album.
40:44But Clara Ampho, how do you still know every word?
40:47Because I'm amazed by the sing-along that's just happened.
40:50I am an Alanis Morissette stan,
40:51and I think the thing that's most impressive about that as well
40:53is the quality of her voice.
40:55Those big notes are still sounding like note-perfect in 2025.
40:59Like, yes, Alanis, we love to see it.
41:00We love to hear it.
41:01Well done, Alanis.
41:02Listen, let's have a look at what you can see on iPlayer right now.
41:06We'll show you this.
41:07You can see Biffy Clyro on the Pyramid Buster Rhymes
41:09making his Glastonbury debut on the other stage.
41:12And over on West Holtz, Canadian jazz is bad, bad, not good
41:16for you to enjoy.
41:16But right now, we're going to enjoy
41:18some of the arts aspect of Glastonbury.
41:20They work with many local artists,
41:21and here we're going to follow the journey
41:23of local stained glass artist Edgar Phillips,
41:26who is actually a resident stained glass artist
41:28at the Palace of the Bishop of Wells nearby.
41:32Enjoy his journey to Glastonbury.
41:34For us, we love working with thousands of artists.
41:51It's one of the things that I love the most,
41:53is the sort of the canvas element of this space.
41:55We created some space in the southeast corner.
42:03We talked about calling it Dragon's Tale,
42:05and Edgar came to us at the right moment.
42:10It was just one of those things.
42:12In Somerset, we have this legend
42:16of the dragon of Wells,
42:19and it terrorised this area.
42:23Bishop Jostin came along,
42:25set out with his sword,
42:27and slew the dragon.
42:29Since then, it's marked in different artwork
42:32all over the county,
42:34and even the flag of Somerset is a dragon.
42:36All the folklore surrounding dragons,
42:40all the mysticism and magical elements,
42:43we have such a connection
42:45in the Vale of Avalon to dragons.
42:48My dad was an antiques dealer
42:50on Portobello Road.
42:53He got into the arts and crafts movement,
42:56buying and selling,
42:57especially stained glass,
42:59and he started selling so much stained glass
43:01that he was needing to get it restored.
43:04So I'd go in on my weekends
43:05and in my summer holidays
43:06and learn stained glass.
43:10So for me,
43:11no matter what state I'm in in my life,
43:15it's always there.
43:22I had my fair share of mental health
43:26and struggles,
43:28and one day,
43:31it was all too much.
43:33I sort of closed my eyes,
43:35and it was like oblivion.
43:37It was just deep.
43:39And in that deep,
43:40burnt this pair of wings,
43:42and my eyes kind of opened up.
43:45I stopped,
43:47and I knew immediately what I had to do.
43:49Emily Evis saw them
44:00and said,
44:02I'd like these at the festival.
44:05It's been a wonderful journey from then.
44:08It created that relationship with Glastonbury.
44:10They've really supported me.
44:12And I'd just done a couple of other little sketches
44:15of other things,
44:16and they pointed at that one sketch of this dragon.
44:21They were like,
44:22what's that?
44:23All these people just coming up with so many ideas all year.
44:27We were like,
44:28okay,
44:29let's get Edgar,
44:31who we know so well,
44:32to design a stained glass dragon for this area.
44:36This bright dragon on the hill at night
44:43will draw people up,
44:45and then they'll be able to look back down
44:47over the festival site.
44:49The dragon itself
44:50is something like 46 metres in length overall.
44:57It's being brought to life
44:59in a very short timeline.
45:02So, literally 11 weeks.
45:0611 weeks.
45:11Edgar rocks up with a cardboard cutter of a dragon.
45:14Much different from the normal day-to-day work.
45:17We're making a church worth of glass.
45:22My son has kindly come on board to help me out.
45:26The dragon is very much coming to life.
45:28The timing now,
45:32less than two weeks,
45:33it's, you know,
45:34you start really feeling it.
45:36I'm starting to see it all together,
45:38and it's a monster.
45:40We're nearly there.
45:41We're nearly there.
45:46What skill and what a story.
45:48We're going to be hearing more about Edgar
45:50and his dragon over the weekend.
45:52Now, stick around,
45:53because Jack Saunders and Joe Wiley are coming up.
45:56Lots of live music to come from Biffy Clyro,
45:59Busta Rhymes,
46:00Self Esteem Nine,
46:01but for now,
46:02another Glastonbury debut for you.
46:04From the West Holt stage,
46:05vocal icons,
46:07girl group supremacy,
46:09one might say.
46:10You're never going to get it.
46:10Actually, no, you are going to get it.
46:12We're slipping all the song titles in.
46:14So, from the West Holt stage from earlier on,
46:16this is the fantastic On Vogue.
46:19On Joy.
46:20Yeah, yeah, yeah.
46:21Ooh, yeah.
46:23What a man, what a man,
46:25what a mighty good man.
46:27He's a mighty, mighty good man.
46:29What a man, what a man,
46:30what a man,
46:31what a mighty good man.
46:32Hey!
46:33Y'all ready?
46:33Come on!
46:34What a man, what a man,
46:35what a man,
46:36what a mighty good man.
46:37He's a mighty, mighty good man.
46:39What a man, what a man,
46:41what a man,
46:41what a mighty good man.
46:43Say,
46:44I want to take a minute to
46:45and get my respect due to the man
46:47who's made a difference in my world.
46:49Although most men are hoes,
46:51he goes on the down low.
46:52I never heard about him with another girl
46:54I don't sweat it, because it's just pathetic to let it
46:57Get me involved, now she said, she said, proud
47:00I know there ain't nobody perfect
47:02I give props to those who deserve it
47:04And believe me, he's worth it
47:06So here's to the future, we got through the pairs
47:09I finally found somebody's accent and made me laugh
47:12You're so crazy
47:14I think I wanna have your name
47:16Wanna man, wanna man, wanna man, wanna mighty good man
47:20You're a mighty, mighty good man
47:22Wanna man, wanna man, wanna man, wanna mighty good man
47:25Hey, I see it now
47:27Wanna man, wanna man, wanna man, wanna mighty good man
47:31Let it go, no
47:32Wanna man, wanna man, wanna man, wanna mighty good man
47:36I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you
47:39A lot of nights, a rock with a diesel face
47:42One night, a doctor with a PhD
47:44And when he comes home, he's relaxing me
47:47He always got a gift for me every time I see him
47:50A lot of night, no sex plans couldn't be
47:53He never read a corny line once in the end
47:55So I give up, they'll never forget
47:58He keeps me on calm, now he's just like a temp
48:01He's not a fake wannabe, who's really just a wham
48:03He dresses like a daffodon, but even in jeans
48:06He's a god and a rich, the man of my dreams
48:09Hey now, he never said he loved me
48:12Always was he good and touched me in the rice love
48:14See all the guys that I've had, they try to play all the Mac bits
48:17But every time they do, I say, watch out
48:19That's not him
48:20Hey, right there, he's got the rice coat shirt
48:23Maybe rub it down and maybe
48:24Spool-a-light lotion, the original highway to heaven
48:27From seven to seven, he's got me a woman like seven to seven
48:31And he dresses me, he's always choosing
48:33I'm never losing, he knows that's my name
48:35He's not choosing
48:36Always has having conversations on the mind
48:39Which means a lot to me, cause I can't hard to fly
48:42What a man, what a man, what a man, what a mighty good man
48:45He's a show of love, good man
48:47What a man, what a man, what a man, what a mighty good man
48:51Yes, he is now
48:52What a man, what a man, what a man, what a mighty good man
48:56Yeah, yeah
48:58What a man, what a man, what a man, what a mighty good man
49:01What a mighty good man
49:04All right now, man
49:05He's a modern model, a good man, y'all.
49:10I know about that.
49:12I'm just saying.
49:15Let me see a true mama lady's hands.
49:21You feel like they have a good man.
49:23Come on, ladies, give up.
49:25If you got a good man, girl, when your hands are safe.
49:30If you got a good man, let me see a thing.
49:35What a man, what a man.
49:37And if you got a good man, just clap your hands.
49:40Come on.
49:41What a man, what a man.
49:46What a man, what a man, what a man, what a mighty good man.
49:50One more time.
49:51What a man, what a man, what a man, what a mighty good man.
49:55Yes, please.
50:00Not a good man in the spot.
50:03Love it.
50:14Come on, Flaster Bear.
50:20Y'all better watch out with your girl.
50:22Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh.
50:25I like my clothing, high-heeled shoe.
50:29That doesn't mean that I'm a prostitute, no, no.
50:34I like my clothing, high-heeled shoe.
50:37I like my clothing, high-heeled shoe.
50:38Oh, oh, oh, yeah.
50:39That doesn't mean that I'm a clothing, low-heeled shoe.
50:42No, no, no.
50:43Oh, my, forgive me for heaven's pre-head.
50:47No, it doesn't mean that there's a blood in my hair, yeah, yeah, yeah.
50:52Might save another race for color.
50:56It doesn't mean I don't like my strong black-heeled shoe.
51:01Who shows it?
51:06And why, oh, why must it be this way?
51:12Why?
51:12Oh, before you can remember, you've got to learn how to see that, I said.
51:19Free your mind, and the rest will follow, because blind, don't be so shallow.
51:28Free your mind, and the rest will follow, because blind, don't be so shallow.
51:38So I was just down, I'd buy things with cash,
51:42better if it doesn't mean that all my credit's bad, no, no.
51:47Oh, I didn't feel bad, and waste my time, because you're in the body.
51:54The price is too high for me.
51:56I cannot go without being wasted, during my fight, or I made up my mind.
52:05Oh, I didn't feel bad, and it's too high for me.
52:08Why even my time, why even my time?
52:10You can't change your mind, you can't change my color.
52:19Why, oh, why, must it be this way?
52:24Oh, why, before you can remember, you've got to learn how to see that, I said.
52:33Free your mind, and the rest will bother, because blind, don't be so shallow.
52:42Free your mind, and the rest will bother, because blind, don't be so shallow.
52:50Free your mind, and the rest will bother, because blind, don't be so shallow.
53:17Free your mind, and the rest will bother, because blind, don't be so shallow.
53:47Oh, yeah, yeah.
53:59Oh, oh, yeah.
54:08Ooh1
54:14Ohh
54:16Wooo
54:18Wah×™×—
54:20What's it gonna be
54:24Cause I'm in kid
54:28Before the dream
54:34Hope you're tired and don't let go
54:36Don't let go
54:39Have a right to lose control
54:42Don't let go
54:45I often tell myself that we could be more than just friends
54:54I know you think that if we moved too soon it would all end
55:00I live in misery when you're not around
55:05And I won't be satisfied until we're taking those vows
55:11There'll be some love making, heart breaking, soul shaking
55:16Love making, heart breaking, soul shaking
55:22What's it gonna be?
55:25I can't pretend
55:28Don't you wanna be
55:32Don't let go
55:36Don't let go
55:38Don't let go
55:40Have a right to lose control
55:43Don't let go
55:46I often thank the stars, the stars above, for watching you
55:55They know my heart and speak to yours like lonely lovers do
56:01If I could wear your clothes
56:05I'd pretend I wasn't you
56:07You can't lose control
56:11There'll be some love making, heart breaking, soul shaking
56:17There'll be some love making, heart breaking, soul shaking
56:23Don't you wanna be
56:26I can't pretend
56:29Don't you wanna be
56:32Don't you wanna be
56:33Oh, yes, yes, yeah
56:37Hold me close
56:38Don't let go
56:40You have a right
56:42Don't let go
56:46Don't let go
56:48From the beginning of the line
56:54It's got me so confused
56:56You gotta make a sacrifice
57:00Somebody's gotta choose
57:02We can make it if we try
57:06For the sake of you and love
57:08Together we can make you
57:12We can make it right
57:16What's it gonna be?
57:18Cause I'm gonna be
57:20Out of your life
57:22Out of your life
57:24Don't you wanna be
57:26We're in the world of friends
57:28You have a right
57:30Don't let go
57:32You have a right
57:34You have a right
57:36You have a right
57:38You have a right
57:40I said you have a right
57:42To lose control
