00:00:00Good evening and welcome to your Glastonbury 2025 your Friday evening show. I'm Joe Wiley
00:00:20and he is Jack Saunders. Hello and welcome to Worthy Farm Glastonbury. It is good to be back
00:00:26Joe. It's wonderful. It has been such a tremendous day as well. Lots of you might be watching on
00:00:31BBC iPlayer. So many different performances. It's been a really enjoyable day. Lewis Capaldi
00:00:36and for me when he said I've come back to finish what I couldn't before. I mean not a dry eye in
00:00:41the field. Everyone's singing along as they did before when he had all his troubles. Wet Leg were
00:00:46amazing. I mean this is an amazing forum when people come and play here. They've got all the
00:00:50eyes on them and all the artists are just nailing it so much. And not forgetting Lord as well who
00:00:54really opened everything up today over on Woodsy's. That was a very special moment. Loads to come up.
00:01:00Busta Rhymes, self-esteem and of course that headline set from the 1975 a little later on. First
00:01:04maybe let's head over to Stockport's finest. Let's watch a bit of Blossoms.
00:01:09Are we ready for a good time, Woodsy's? Are we ready for a good time?
00:01:26start to smile honestly a good night's rest. With eight hours' sleep, meetings, veg, don't

00:02:16Got to be perfectly
00:02:19Got to be perfectly
00:02:22Got to be perfectly
00:02:25To be true and directed
00:02:28As a heart and shoot suspect
00:02:31That's in a system I detect
00:02:34My lyricism I detect
00:02:37Wait, three more things to say
00:02:40You've got to
00:02:41Love from your mistakes
00:02:43Over time you will show
00:02:45No one needs a mistake
00:02:48I come to myself
00:02:50So that's not easy
00:02:53Be to yourself
00:02:56Just keep breathing
00:02:58And that's got to be perfectly
00:03:02Got to be perfectly
00:03:06Got to be perfectly
00:03:08We've got to be perfectly
00:03:10At me

00:03:50I've come to my senses
00:03:52Life's not easy
00:03:55The peace you can say
00:03:58I'm just to be the light
00:04:01Got to be a company

00:04:21Got to be a company
00:04:23The perfect me
00:04:30Ah yes, so good
00:04:32Blossoms at Woodsy's a little bit earlier on today
00:04:34Did you see the cardboard box that they brought out on stage, Jo?
00:04:37Yeah, tell us what was in the cardboard box.
00:04:39It was CMAT. She was in the cardboard box, who, by the way, also did an incredible performance opening up the Pyramid stage earlier on today.
00:04:46That is well worth a look on iPlayer when you get the chance to do so over the weekend.
00:04:50Yeah, and there is so much for you to enjoy as well. We're going to bring you self-esteem a little bit later on.
00:04:53And we're all building up, of course, to the 1975, which is going to be tremendous.
00:04:57I spent an awful lot of money in the production, which we're going to have a look at a little bit later, see exactly how it went.
00:05:02But for now, we have an acoustic coming up for you. So this is an artist who's already performed earlier on today.
00:05:07She's been she's just amazing, as we're going to hear right now.
00:05:10So this is the wonderful Olivia Dean here at Glastonbury 2025.
00:05:32And here we are back again, fighting what's in front of me. There's so much to our back again.
00:05:42If I come to Italy, we could be nice to each other, nice to each other, wrong for each other, right for each other.
00:05:54And ride to each other, and ride to each other.
00:06:01I don't know where the switches are, where you keep the coloring.
00:06:08We could be nice to each other, and ride to each other, and ride to each other, and ride to each other.
00:06:29And ride to each other, and ride to each other, and ride to each other.
00:06:39And ride to each other.
00:06:52I'll be in the shower and wait for you to call it all
00:07:10cause I don't want a boyfriend
00:07:14but we could be nice to each other
00:07:17nice to each other, wrong for each other, right for each other
00:07:23nice to each other, rise to each other
00:07:26cause you know I've done all the classic stuff
00:07:33and it never works, you know it
00:07:37so can we say we'll never say the classic stuff
00:07:42just show it, ooh the sunlight talking all night
00:07:48just enough to grow it now
00:07:53know it now, now, now, now
00:08:00it could be nice
00:08:08it could be so nice
00:08:12oh, it could be nice to
00:08:16oh, to each other
00:08:20mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm
00:08:50Olivia Dean everybody. Hi guys. Thank you. That was wonderful. Thank you. Congratulations on successfully secreting your way into Glastonbury. I secreted, yes. How did you do that? Tell us. I just sort of turned up and said surprise. You didn't have like a costume on or anything like that? No, no. I did have a little wig last night. Oh yeah. You were here last night? Yeah. Okay. Did you kind of adopt a character or anything?
00:09:18Yeah, but I can't tell you her name, otherwise it ruins the disguise. Oh, you're going to do it again? Yeah, but you might see her later. Oh, there's more to come from her. So you did a surprise earlier on, Strumerville, right? Yes. Okay. And that's somewhere that you're really fond of? Yeah, I've been able to play there for the last couple of years and I just think it's an amazing stage here. It's so warm and like amazing up in the trees and yeah, it was magic. And when you strip back your music, that feels like kind of the starting point of where you begin with it anyway. Yeah, like I love playing the songs acoustically.
00:09:48And these guys are so great and it's just fun for us. Yeah. Yeah, absolutely. So there'll be more performances over the course of the weekend from Olivia Dean? For me? Yeah. Nah. No? Oh, you're just going to go out in disguise and have fun tonight? No, I'm off the clock now. Yeah. Oh, you're all done. I thought you were going to surprise. I'm going to go see Nar Rogers and Sheik. Oh, good. Yeah, you'll see me there. Okay, good. We were watching En Vogue earlier on. Oh, my God. And you were channeling En Vogue, right?
00:10:18Have you caught wind or the whispers, the secrets at all? I've caught a couple rumours, but I don't think they're true. What are you hearing? I'm hearing about Robbie Williams. Yeah, I heard a bit about Robbie Williams. Who do we think Robbie's going to turn up with? Because everyone's saying, oh, he's going to be on with Lewis Capaldi. That didn't happen. No. Self-esteem, possibly? I heard it. I've heard it. Oh, that's what you've heard. Oh, really? I've heard the rumours. Oh, really? I don't want to spread. I don't want to spread, but yeah. Oh, okay. Right. Fine. Okay. Well, that's...
00:10:48Yeah, I hope I can see him at the bar or something. Yeah, maybe he does. So you've got your new album, The Art of Loving, coming? I do, yes, in September. How exciting. It's really exciting. What's kind of gone into this for you? What's the core of it? The album, I guess, more of the same than the last one, but this one's really looking at love. And of course, a lot of songs look at love, but I think it's like my understanding of it and how I feel like we could all maybe love each other a bit differently. So less about romantic love and more about... No, romantic love for sure.
00:11:18But I think... As in, are you in love or are you out of love? Is it the pain of love? Yeah, it's just all of it. It's all sorts of love.
00:11:26The agony and the pain of love, probably. Yeah. Let's not forget your Pyramid stage set last year as well. We saw CMAP kind of open up the Pyramid stage today. Yeah, it looked unreal. You did the same slot. It's a good slot to do that, isn't it? What's your memories of that? I mean, you can't complain. I feel like you catch everybody just like at the beginning of the festival. Everyone's so up for it.
00:11:44Like, that really is like such a moment that I feel is one of just the best of my life. So...
00:11:50What a lovely memory. And what are you manifesting now? What's the next thing that you want to do?
00:11:54I'd like to headline. Headline Pyramid stage. Why not? Good. Why not? You don't shoot, you don't score.
00:11:59Next year. No. Year after. Well, it's not on next year. So the year after that would be good. Plenty of time to build. Yeah. Put in a good word for me.
00:12:05We will. We will. We will. And it's so lovely to see you. Congratulations. Thanks, guys.
00:12:09Thanks, guys. Thank you so much. Thanks. We're going to bring you now some Wonder Horse who were playing earlier on today.
00:12:15Thanks, guys.
00:12:39Thanks, guys.
00:13:09Thanks, guys.
00:13:39Thanks, guys.
00:13:50Thank you so much.
00:14:03Don't let go
00:14:06Come on
00:14:08Don't let go
00:14:09Don't let go
00:14:13The road
00:14:14If you're rolling easy
00:14:15Go stick
00:14:16You gotta do what you can
00:14:19To get along
00:14:20They lift us screaming in the rain
00:14:23They toss us with the garbage
00:14:26To the justice of the dark all night
00:14:29No, don't let go
00:14:43Don't let go
00:14:46No, don't let go
00:14:50Don't let go of the road
00:14:54Don't let go of the road
00:14:59Don't let go
00:15:01Never
00:15:02Never
00:15:11That band there are one of the most exciting bands we have in the UK
00:15:21They're amazing, right?
00:15:22The horse are unbelievable
00:15:24And showcased it right there with the performance of their latest single
00:15:26Rope on the park a little bit earlier on
00:15:29Yeah, so good to be able to show people what they're like as well
00:15:31Because you really feel the force and the energy of their music
00:15:34Something else that is really good to be able to bring you right now
00:15:37Is Letters Live
00:15:38So some people might be familiar with them
00:15:39It's essentially people reading amazing letters
00:15:42So throughout history there have been some incredible letters written
00:15:45And they get together
00:15:47And they've performed at other festivals in the past
00:15:49And you have wonderful orators
00:15:51So people who really have a love of language
00:15:53Actors, amazing people like Olivia Colman
00:15:55And they tell these stories
00:15:57They read out the letters
00:15:57So we were there
00:15:59They were at the Greenpeace field today
00:16:00And we filmed it
00:16:01And so we just want to show you an array of the amazing actors
00:16:03And the incredible letters that get written
00:16:05This is just wonderful
00:16:06And this is something I really, really love
00:16:08I'm a big fan of Letters Live
00:16:09And so we're going to bring that to you right now
00:16:11So we're at the Greenpeace stage at Glastonbury
00:16:23To do a performance of Letters Live
00:16:25Good morning, Glastonbury
00:16:27Yeah
00:16:28It's a beautiful art form
00:16:31It's just have these little time capsules into other lives
00:16:33Other means of communication
00:16:34We're so used to 140 characters
00:16:37This is just, there's more time for nuance in a letter
00:16:40I think it is just terrible and disgusting
00:16:44How everyone continues to treat Lance Armstrong
00:16:47Especially after what he achieved
00:16:49By winning seven Tour de France races
00:16:51While competing on drugs
00:16:52The last time I was on drugs
00:16:56I couldn't even find my bike
00:16:57Yours, Bea Perry
00:17:00My mum and dad were very good at instilling in me
00:17:04The importance of a letter, thank you letter
00:17:06So after like a, actually I say this
00:17:09I realised that I haven't written my aunt a thank you letter for Christmas
00:17:11It's now July
00:17:13I read two letters today
00:17:16One from Robbie Burns
00:17:17To a, a woman that he had embarrassed himself in front of at a party
00:17:23Here I am, laid on a bed of pitiless furs
00:17:27With my aching head reclined on a pillow of ever-piercing thorn
00:17:31While an infernal tormentor
00:17:33Wrinkled and old and cruel
00:17:35His name I think is Recollection
00:17:38And it's a letter of contrition
00:17:41As if he is requesting her forgiveness from the fires of hell
00:17:46Dear Miss Shoot, thinking about your requests for suggestions on great four-wheel-drive trips
00:17:53The ideal off-road journey
00:17:55I'll tell you
00:17:57Underwater
00:17:58As of this very day
00:18:03I can assure you that I
00:18:06And many of my friends
00:18:07Will never, ever
00:18:09Contribute in any way whatsoever
00:18:12To your sickeningly corporate selling tactics
00:18:15I read a letter
00:18:16From one soldier to another
00:18:17And one of the soldiers didn't survive
00:18:19And it's just a beautiful love letter
00:18:23Dear Dave
00:18:24This is in memory of an anniversary
00:18:27The anniversary of October 27th, 1943
00:18:31When I first heard you singing in North Africa
00:18:34What's so beautiful about it is that
00:18:36You don't think of soldiers falling in love necessarily
00:18:38But of course that would have happened
00:18:39Fond goodbyes on a secluded beach
00:18:42Beneath the star-studded velvet of an African night
00:18:45And the tears that would not be stopped
00:18:48As I stood atop the seawall
00:18:50And watched her convoy disappear over the horizon
00:18:53There were some beautiful, beautiful heartfelt letters
00:18:57Andrews, Bella's last letter was so touching
00:18:59You know, the climbing tree
00:19:01Thank you for not dying yet
00:19:03Even though you live next to two apple trees
00:19:05That I'm not even sure are alive
00:19:08Let's just call them the apple-producing zombie tree
00:19:10To conclude, I would like to say
00:19:13Don't die
00:19:15Carry on living bold and strong
00:19:17For as long as you possibly can
00:19:19Yours sincerely, your climber
00:19:22We're lucky to be alive in an era where
00:19:25Catelyn is a voice
00:19:26I mean, she just has it all
00:19:28And of course she wrote it
00:19:29You know, a hungover stay to her two daughters
00:19:31As a mother who had just about made it through glass
00:19:34To be having overindulged in, I know, the drink gin
00:19:37Dear Evie and Dora
00:19:38Hello, it's mummy
00:19:41I'm dead
00:19:43And to hear that letter being read by her
00:19:45You know, as it was intended
00:19:47It's just fantastic
00:19:48Remember that nine times out of ten
00:19:51You probably aren't having a full-scale nervous breakdown
00:19:54You just need a cup of tea and a biscuit
00:19:58So get a big biscuit tin
00:20:01It's pain and joy
00:20:03And a parent guiding a child
00:20:05A pastor getting pissed off
00:20:08That, you know, they were sent a bottle of whiskey
00:20:10It's every different colour and shade of people
00:20:12And humans
00:20:14And if Glastonbury, a festival like this
00:20:17Isn't a place to celebrate all different parts of humanity
00:20:20I don't know where it is
00:20:21Honestly, genius Letters Live
00:20:29And this is their first time at Glastonbury Festival
00:20:30And it's a real pleasure
00:20:32And a privilege to be able to bring them to you as well
00:20:34And we will be able to bring you a lot of the letters
00:20:36Being read out
00:20:37And we'll let you know exactly when that's going to be happening
00:20:39They'll be going on the iPlayer
00:20:40So we film the whole thing
00:20:41And you can experience it
00:20:42Because some of them are really moving
00:20:43Some of them are absolutely hilarious
00:20:45A lot of them are really rude as well
00:20:46And they're obviously read by amazing actors
00:20:48So when the time comes
00:20:49We'll tell you when they're available
00:20:50For you to go and watch them
00:20:51You might be able to hear in the background
00:20:53Yes
00:20:53Very excitingly
00:20:54Self-esteem is now on stage
00:20:56Doing the Complicated Woman theatre show
00:20:58That she did as well
00:20:59So the whole album
00:21:00I'm really, really excited for this
00:21:01If you do get a sudden burst of rock DJ, by the way
00:21:03I think
00:21:04That'll be Olivia Dean's
00:21:06Prediction
00:21:07That she's spread
00:21:08That Robbie Williams
00:21:09Prediction, yes
00:21:10That he might be coming out with self-esteem
00:21:11That'll be the giveaway
00:21:12That'll be why
00:21:13That'll be the giveaway, exactly
00:21:14So you've got Biffy Clyro
00:21:16Hanging out with us very, very shortly
00:21:17And you, wherever you are watching from right now
00:21:20And so to get us warm, Jo
00:21:21Shall we head over to the Pyramid stage
00:21:22And watch a little bit of their set?
00:21:23I would love to
00:21:23They're on the way
00:21:24We'll be speaking to them
00:21:25After you enjoy this
00:21:26I can't divorce you
00:21:49You put me through hell
00:21:52What the spirits want
00:21:56What the spirits get all well
00:21:59Who can you trust?
00:22:04How can you tell?
00:22:07When you could eat it
00:22:09But not taste it
00:22:11And receive it
00:22:12But nothing comes
00:22:14With a little love
00:22:17If you want it
00:22:19We could conquer it all
00:22:21With a little love
00:22:23If you're honest
00:22:25We could defeat them all
00:22:28My decomposure
00:22:31You decompose
00:22:35I guess I'm a genius
00:22:38To this modern world you chose
00:22:41You say utopia
00:22:44Is better than hell
00:22:48When you could touch it
00:22:51But not feel it
00:22:53You could hear the silence
00:22:55With a little love
00:22:59If you want it
00:23:01We could conquer it all
00:23:03With a little love
00:23:05If you're honest
00:23:07We could defeat them all
00:23:10Could somebody help me
00:23:13Can't do this on my own
00:23:16This time I cheer
00:23:18It all pelt to pieces
00:23:19To my heart
00:23:21You declare it
00:23:22I'm meaningless
00:23:22Could someone embrace me?
00:23:27Can this all be done?
00:23:29But I ask
00:23:30Can you swear that you mean it?
00:23:33Give me the glass
00:23:34That never really said
00:23:35With a little love
00:23:39We can conquer all
00:23:43I can forgive what you said
00:23:46Forgive what you've done
00:23:49With a little love
00:23:52That's for everyone
00:23:55I wish I could forgive and forget
00:23:59The moment is gone
00:24:01With a little love
00:24:03If you want it
00:24:06We can conquer it all
00:24:08With a little love
00:24:10If you're honest
00:24:12We could defeat them all
00:24:15With a little love
00:24:16With a little love
00:24:20With a little love
00:24:23If you're honest
00:24:25We could defeat them all
00:24:28With a little love
00:24:33We could defeat them all
00:24:35We could defeat them all
00:24:36We could defeat them all
00:24:37We could defeat them all
00:24:38We could defeat them all
00:24:39We could defeat them all
00:24:40We could defeat them all
00:24:41We could defeat them all
00:24:42We could defeat them all
00:24:43We could defeat them all
00:24:44We could defeat them all
00:24:45We could defeat them all
00:24:46We could defeat them all
00:24:47We could defeat them all
00:24:48We could defeat them all
00:24:49We could defeat them all
00:24:50We could defeat them all
00:24:51We could defeat them all
00:24:52We could defeat them all
00:24:53We could defeat them all
00:24:54We could defeat them all
00:24:55We could defeat them all
00:24:56We could defeat them all
00:24:57We could defeat them all
00:24:58We could defeat them all
00:24:59We could defeat them all
00:25:00We could defeat them all
00:25:01We could defeat them all
00:25:02We could defeat them all
00:29:03We're going to ask a lot of you tonight.
00:29:08We want some singing, some dancing, some bouncing, some clapping, some shagging.
00:29:14I'm sure you'll be right back.
00:32:14You gave me magical.
00:33:14Oh, you angels of blessing.
00:33:16Oh, you angels of blessing, baby.
00:33:16Thank you so much.
00:33:16You guys are amazing.
00:33:27This is going to be right back.
00:33:29You're going to be right back.
00:33:30You're going to be right back.
00:33:31You're going to be right back.
00:33:32You're going to be right back.
00:33:33You're going to be right back.
00:33:34You're going to be right back.
00:33:35You're going to be right back.
00:33:38You're going to be right back.
00:33:39You're going to be right back.
00:33:40You're going to be right back.
00:33:42Take a bite of the mountain range
00:33:48Thought my teeth would break the mountain dead
00:33:51Let's go, I wanna go
00:33:55All the way to the horizon
00:33:57Take a drink out of the ocean
00:34:00Can't water there before the train
00:34:03Let's dive one a diamond
00:34:07To the palm of the ocean
00:34:09Take a ride, take a ride
00:34:12I wouldn't go there without you
00:34:14Take a ride, we'll take a ride
00:34:18We've been without you
00:34:20I am a merchant
00:34:23I am a sea
00:34:26You can't take that away from me
00:34:30I am a merchant
00:34:32I am a sea
00:34:36You can't take that away from me
00:34:40But you're a terrible boy
00:34:43You don't think you don't like
00:34:46You can't understand
00:34:49But I won't leave
00:34:53Till we're finished here
00:34:56You can't do it
00:34:57I am a merchant
00:34:58I am a merchant
00:34:58We are already
00:34:59We are already
00:35:00We are
00:35:00We are
00:35:04Going on to the ground
00:35:05We'll be fine
00:35:07But I'll stay with me
00:35:08And we're still
00:35:09You can't stop
00:35:10I am a merchant
00:35:10I am a merchant
00:35:11I am a merchant
00:35:12Let's enter my life
00:35:13in my life
00:35:14Took a ride, took a ride
00:35:18Go there without you
00:35:20Take a ride, oh take a ride
00:35:24Live here without you
00:35:26I am a virgin
00:35:29I am the sea
00:35:32You can't take that away from me
00:35:36I am a virgin
00:35:38I am the sea
00:35:41You tear it apart
00:35:46With all the things you don't like
00:35:48You can't understand
00:35:51I am waiting
00:35:55Till we're finished here
00:35:57And then you'll find out
00:36:00We're in love
00:36:11Nothing lasts forever
00:36:19Except you and me
00:36:23You are my virgin
00:36:25You are my sea
00:36:28Nothing lasts forever
00:36:31Between you and me
00:36:35You are my virgin
00:36:37You are my sea
00:36:40Everybody
00:36:40I am a virgin
00:36:44I am the sea
00:36:47You can't take that away from me
00:36:51I am a virgin
00:36:53I am the sea
00:36:55I am a virgin
00:36:57I am the sea
00:37:00You are no exception
00:37:19There are no reruns
00:37:22Justify your reasons
00:37:25Now it is my turn
00:37:28Wait on the wall
00:37:40Now they're gonna feel
00:37:54When there's no one to support
00:37:56How are you gonna feel
00:38:00When you're standing there alone
00:38:02You are no exception
00:38:07You are no reruns
00:38:10Justify your reason
00:38:12How this works my time
00:38:15Switch on paranoia
00:38:19Drop your every will
00:38:22I am the sea
00:38:23You are no exception
00:38:27This is the point
00:38:29We have the choice
00:38:31To survive the wet side
00:38:34We've achieved so much more
00:38:38Than you possibly thought we could
00:38:39With all the receiving
00:38:42You can achieve anything
00:38:44Just remember no iron team
00:38:46This will be brilliant
00:38:48We are the wolves
00:38:50Of winter
00:38:52We live in a kingdom of blood
00:38:58We live in a kingdom of blood
00:39:00We live in a kingdom of blood
00:39:02We live in a kingdom of blood
00:39:06We live in a kingdom of blood
00:39:08We are the oldest
00:39:08We're the oldest
00:39:09We have the choice
00:39:10If you are the worst
00:39:12We are the oldest
00:39:12We are the oldest
00:39:14We are the oldest
00:39:16The oldest
00:39:17We are the oldest
00:39:17We have the best
00:39:18We are the oldest
00:39:18This is the tree
00:39:20Take me and mother
00:39:21Take me and I will start you as a shaman
00:39:27Pulling just to start
00:39:31Sing all the hallelujah
00:39:33Watch yourself and sing
00:39:37I will see you alone
00:39:39You'll see me in the future
00:39:41This is the point
00:39:44We have a choice
00:39:46To share my new winter
00:39:48We have achieved so much more
00:39:52Than you cause me back in bed
00:39:54I can't receive it
00:39:57You can achieve anything
00:39:58Just you live in the right
00:40:00And you will feel it
00:40:03We are the ones from the west side
00:40:07We live in a cave of fire
00:40:18We are the mothers of all time
00:40:46Biffy Clyro and fresh off set, I mean literally fresh off set.
00:41:16I don't think I've seen a band more excited than these three here.
00:41:20I don't think fresh is the word.
00:41:21No, okay, you know, distinctly not fresh at all.
00:41:24I'll take that swear, that's fine.
00:41:26How was that for you?
00:41:28Incredible.
00:41:29Glasto is the gift that keeps on giving, but today was phenomenal.
00:41:32We're still totally wired.
00:41:34Have you had a drink?
00:41:34Did you have a drink?
00:41:36Sorry?
00:41:36It's hard to know how it was, how you feel when you've, it was amazing.
00:41:40But you are like shell-shocked, you know.
00:41:42Have you been able to think about what made it amazing?
00:41:44You've done a lot of those type of shows, but what specifically made this one amazing?
00:41:49To be honest, you're at the mercy of the crowd and, you know, on a Friday at Glasto, it's great.
00:41:53Everyone's got tons of energy, you know, and the weather's great.
00:41:55So everyone's in a great mood.
00:41:57So that always makes things slightly easier.
00:41:59We also demand quite a lot of the crowd.
00:42:01So we told them to start with, what, singing, dancing, motion, jumping.
00:42:05And they did.
00:42:06And the little email went out beforehand.
00:42:08Yeah, exactly.
00:42:09You got it.
00:42:10God, what was it like looking out at that audience?
00:42:12How did it feel?
00:42:13Come tell us.
00:42:14It's breathtaking.
00:42:15Like Simon said, we've had the pleasure to play here a few times before, but tonight there was something special in the air.
00:42:21The flags were flying high.
00:42:22The wind was a lovely amount, a lovely breeze.
00:42:25And people were going absolutely crazy.
00:42:27So that will go down in history for sure.
00:42:29Oh, how wonderful.
00:42:29Each time we do it, you think you're never going to feel better after.
00:42:33This is like maybe our seventh or eighth time doing Glastonbury.
00:42:36And it's become our favourite immediately.
00:42:38Immediately our favourite show.
00:42:39So this is the best so far.
00:42:41Yeah, yeah.
00:42:41Do you want more?
00:42:42Do you want to come back?
00:42:43Would you hang on?
00:42:43We always want more.
00:42:44We always want more.
00:42:46No, we're here whenever Glastonbury wants us.
00:42:49We're here.
00:42:49I'm sure playing the new one live probably felt very good.
00:42:52But Simon, we touched on this when we chatted on the radio recently,
00:42:54when we debuted the record.
00:42:55But it's been a long time actually since you guys have actually just got to be out on stages
00:43:00and support a record live where Biffy Clyro should be.
00:43:03So the new one probably felt good, but the bangers probably felt good as well, right?
00:43:07Yes.
00:43:08It was one of those today where we thought about playing a bunch more new stuff
00:43:11because we've got a record coming out in September.
00:43:13But you see what I did there.
00:43:14Yeah, very good.
00:43:15Yeah, never lose it.
00:43:16Simon, what's it called?
00:43:18It's called Futique.
00:43:19It's called what?
00:43:20Futique.
00:43:20Futique.
00:43:21Futique, like future antique.
00:43:22Oh, okay.
00:43:23It's a banger.
00:43:24Where did you get that from?
00:43:26I can't even remember.
00:43:28Is it an actual word?
00:43:29Have you made it up?
00:43:30It's a compound word.
00:43:30I think I made it up about six years ago.
00:43:32And I've been waiting for the right project to name it.
00:43:34And this album just felt like the right thing.
00:43:36But we thought about playing a few more new songs.
00:43:38But, you know, when you play at Glass,
00:43:39you want to give everyone the best time possible.
00:43:42And it's nice to have tunes that people know.
00:43:44So we just did it.
00:43:45And it was amazing.
00:43:46What did you do when you stepped off stage, all of you?
00:43:48Believe it or not, we got straight in our buggies.
00:43:50Oh, yeah, of course.
00:43:51And came here with a quick shot of tequila.
00:43:52How many of you did your rice or anything?
00:43:54Oh, no, we always have a cuddle.
00:43:55We always have a wee cuddling.
00:43:56A wee fondle.
00:43:58That's really important.
00:43:59We engage before and we engage after the show.
00:44:01It's so important.
00:44:02It's kind of like a decompression.
00:44:03Yeah.
00:44:04It's an important part.
00:44:04So there was no drink involved?
00:44:05You haven't had a quick shot of anything?
00:44:07Yeah, but a wee tequila.
00:44:09I love a tequila.
00:44:10Have you guys had a wee shot of anything?
00:44:11No, but we'd have one with you.
00:44:15I could smell it on your breath.
00:44:18Don't believe everything you hear.
00:44:19You're the worst guest ever.
00:44:21You're the best.
00:44:22No, we didn't realize we were going to off-road.
00:44:24We were coming up on a buggy, but what an amazing view it is.
00:44:26What was the journey like?
00:44:28What was it like?
00:44:29It's like going through a jungle.
00:44:31It's great.
00:44:31You see everyone.
00:44:32Like, we came across the whole site, and you guys do have the best view in the whole place,
00:44:35but we came through the whole site.
00:44:37We saw people going to stages, coming from stages, people that don't care about music.
00:44:41People that love me.
00:44:42And there's just so many little vibes going on in communities, as we all know.
00:44:46A real mix of people, wasn't it?
00:44:48So we sat for 30 seconds up there before we came down and just breezed it all in.
00:44:52Looked at the penimid stage miles away, and it was overwhelming.
00:44:55So before we check out Black Chandelier, what are you going to do tonight?
00:44:59Going to stick around?
00:45:00Well, I've got a plan.
00:45:01I'm going to do a pilgrimage to the Stone Circle.
00:45:04Yeah.
00:45:05Hopefully play some drums.
00:45:06Who knows?
00:45:06And then catch the 75 and party with them a little bit, I guess.
00:45:10Come on.
00:45:11Ben will be that guy playing the bongos.
00:45:14Ben, we've got to go.
00:45:16Sunday.
00:45:18It's 5 a.m.
00:45:20At the beauty of Glassbury, as you can go anywhere, you don't need to have a plan.
00:45:22You just pick a direction and walk, and that's what we're going to do.
00:45:25And that's what you're going to be doing later on tonight.
00:45:26Do you want to watch yourselves?
00:45:28No.
00:45:29You were saying you hate it.
00:45:30I hate it.
00:45:31I can't stand it.
00:45:32I love the moment of it, but I hate judging it.
00:45:35I know people at home will want to, though.
00:45:36Yeah, close your eyes.
00:45:37We're going to show everybody else here now.
00:45:39So this is, of course, Biffy Clyro, and this is Black Chandelier.
00:45:41Thank you so much.
00:45:42Thank you, guys.
00:45:43Nice to see you.
00:45:43I see you laugh, but I know I'm a failure in your eyes.
00:46:07I know it's deaf, but I guess that I know we're deep inside.
00:46:19It feels like we're ready to cry these days, you and I.
00:46:27When it's just the two of us, only the two of us, I could die.
00:46:33You left my heart like an abandoned car.
00:46:40Old and worn, I knew you should all.
00:46:44But I used to be free.
00:46:50We're going to separate our shells tonight.
00:46:54We're always trying to get the holding night.
00:46:58But there's a black chandelier
00:47:01Which has to be shadows and lies
00:47:05Trip, trip, trip, trip
00:47:11I'll sit in silence for the rest of my life
00:47:15If you'd like
00:47:16Three-sear winds with
00:47:22In touch till you clubs made a wire
00:47:25Feel it by the tray and the skin
00:47:31We begin to relax
00:47:34When it's just that you was
00:47:38A cute little cup of cyanide
00:47:42You left my heart like an abandoned car
00:47:49Rolled in one, I know you should all
00:47:53But I used to be free
00:47:56We're gonna separate ourselves tonight
00:48:02We're always gonna scare from holding knives
00:48:07But there's a black chandelier
00:48:10Which has to be shadows and lies
00:48:14We're gonna separate ourselves tonight
00:48:19We're always gonna scare from holding knives
00:48:24For there's a black chandelier
00:48:27Shit
00:48:33With this glass of beer
00:48:49You left my heart like an abandoned car
00:49:54That was Black Chandelier.
00:49:55Don't forget, the iPlayer is your friend this weekend.
00:49:57If you want to catch up on that performance, you most certainly can.
00:49:59It will be up there for you.
00:50:00Yeah, and I'm sure that was an exclusive.
00:50:02I don't think we knew that the album was called Futique and it was coming out exactly when it's coming out.
00:50:06So, yeah, pretty good.
00:50:07Yeah.
00:50:07Right, so obviously we're building up towards the headline, the first headliner tonight on the Pyramid stage,
00:50:12and that is the 1975.
00:50:13All roads are leading there.
00:50:15Let's just have a little look at their journey and find out more about the 1975.
00:50:18Just get excited.
00:50:19Tonight, under the lights of Worthy Farms' Pyramid stage, the 1975's step into their moment.
00:50:34Three Glastonbury appearances and 12 years since their debut album, their rise to headliner has been simply meteoric.
00:50:51Once we put out the face-down EP, it was as if somebody had just kind of said yes, like flipped a switch, and that was it.
00:51:02We were off.
00:51:06It all began in 2002 when four mates from Wilmslow began jamming in garages and playing covers.
00:51:13It was the start of a journey that, so far, has spanned five albums and lasted 22 years.
00:51:21It was with the release of their self-titled debut album that the 1975 had their breakthrough moment, landing straight at number one.
00:51:36It wasn't a one-off.
00:51:37Every album since has followed suit.
00:51:41Hysteria arrived as the band went on the road.
00:51:44It was a frenzy, fueled by lyrics that spoke directly to the fans.
00:51:51So I think by the time we became a band that decided to put out a record, that kind of lyrical honesty, that attitude of honesty, well, out, kind of really defined us.
00:52:04But it's mainly a kind of a diary.
00:52:10The band's second album, I Like It When You Sleep, broke two years of monochrome minimalism.
00:52:28A new visual era was born, with electric neon and songs that bent genres and broke rules.
00:52:34Charting at number one in the US, a return to Glastonbury's other stage followed.
00:52:39Their third and fourth album were released next.
00:52:59Both experimental in their nature, they span genres, draw from a range of darker themes, and feature collaborations from artists, activists alike.
00:53:07One of the most beloved bands of their generation, these four albums have chronicled the chaos of living in the 21st century.
00:53:21And in 2022, new music came again in the form of a fifth number one album, being funny in a foreign language.
00:53:28Provocateurs and poets of their generation, the 1975, still at their very best, write another chapter right here tonight, as they headline Glastonbury's Pyramid Stage.
00:53:52So, a debut headline performance for the 1975 tonight.
00:54:06And with you, me and Joe, we'll all be hanging out watching it.
00:54:09It's going to be really, really special.
00:54:10And behind us, we're just saying that the cloud is sort of dark and looming and perhaps referencing that early 1975 monochrome feeling that they had in the albums.
00:54:19It's certainly going to be a performance of hits tonight.
00:54:23I was with the band recently and they were saying that no expense has been spared when it comes to the production of tonight's show.
00:54:28They are going all out to wow you this evening.
00:54:31It is going to be unmissable.
00:54:32Can you imagine how they're feeling right now?
00:54:34I mean, it's huge.
00:54:35Just kind of imagine them backstage waiting to walk out into that stage.
00:54:39I actually walked past George, the drummer, earlier on.
00:54:40Oh, how was he?
00:54:41He was so nervous to the point where he said, I'm actually just walking past you to vomit in the toilet because I'm really, really nervous.
00:54:48In the background also, you can hear Self Esteem, who's doing one hell of a set.
00:54:51Have we had Robbie yet?
00:54:52No Robbie yet.
00:54:53We've had no millennium.
00:54:54We've had no rock DJ.
00:54:56But she doesn't need Robbie Williams, to be honest.
00:54:58It's just she's got an amazing band and it's just standing very good, which you will be able to watch.
00:55:02On BBC iPlayer.
00:55:03But coming up next, just ahead of Lorcan on the other stage earlier on this evening, having a whale of a time, was a man that had in the live lounge many, many, many moons ago.
00:55:12He didn't even stand up to do his performance.
00:55:14He just kind of laid there really laconically.
00:55:16I'm talking about Busta Rhymes.
00:55:17Ladies, let's go.
00:55:33Soldiers, let's go.
00:55:35Hey, yo, let me talk to you real quick.
00:55:37Talk to him, talk to him.
00:55:38Hey.

00:55:54Don't you wish your girlfriend was a great party.

01:04:03Busta Rhymes is the kind of guy that sounds like when you wake up in the morning after a very, very heavy night out
01:04:09He's just got the perfect level of baritone and gravel hasn't he?
01:04:13When I wake up, that's exactly
01:04:15I don't know who was having more fun about it
01:04:16Him on stage or the crowd
01:04:18That was like a mega mix of all his songs
01:04:20Really, really wonderful
01:04:21And also, I saw him arrive
01:04:24I swear he was in a Bentley
01:04:25A Bentley was backstage
01:04:26That sounds feasible
01:04:27I think Busta travels in a Bentley
01:04:29Just before Busta took to the other stage
01:04:31His act, who were playing before, was Gracie Abrams
01:04:34Anybody who has a 16-year-old daughter in their lives
01:04:36Probably knows Gracie Abrams
01:04:37I certainly do
01:04:38And this was her making her festival
01:04:40Not only just the Glastonbury debut
01:04:42But her festival debut in the UK
01:04:43Gracie Abrams
01:04:44I'm going to meet you, Mom
01:04:59In a very dumb face all the time
01:05:02Living in a glass house on my side
01:05:04Oh, in a big blue eyes
01:05:08Yeah, just to hurry, make me cry
01:05:11Smiling through it all, yeah, that's my life
01:05:13I think you're better than me
01:05:15Now I'm sure
01:05:17Now I'm positive
01:05:20I sure don't want her
01:05:23Ooh, baby, because she's so cool
01:05:29Kickin' back on your couch
01:05:31We can't ask you, because
01:05:32Ooh, the way you think I've been there too
01:05:37Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh
01:05:39Where she's gonna get you all the haunt
01:05:44Tookin' down her hair a little
01:05:45Oh, my God
01:05:46I did that once
01:05:48Or twice
01:05:50Once
01:05:50I know, I know, I know it's wrong
01:05:52But I think I like her
01:05:54She's so fun
01:05:55When I think I hate her
01:05:56I'm not glad
01:05:57Of all
01:05:58I'm sorry
01:05:58She's busy
01:05:59Side, side
01:06:01Poor
01:06:01Not my business, but I had to warn ya
01:06:08Ooh, baby, she's so cool
01:06:14Kicking back on your couch, looking at us
01:06:16Ooh, wait, I think I've been there too
01:06:22Ooh, God, you're thinking she's so cool
01:06:31But I know what I know, we just love you
01:06:35Ooh, that's so true
01:06:40Made it out alive, but I think I lost it
01:06:45Sent it out of spark, sitting in my car
01:06:47Remember how it died, we started walking
01:06:49That's my life, that's my life
01:06:51I'm gonna fight, taking my hair
01:06:53It takes you to the vibe, it takes you to the feeling
01:06:56Just spend the night, catch me on your ceiling
01:06:58That's your price, that's your price
01:07:00Ooh, ooh, baby, she's so cool
01:07:06Kicking back on your couch, looking at us
01:07:09And across the, ooh, wait, I think I've been there too
01:07:15Ooh, ooh, you've got me thinking she's so cool
01:07:24That I know what I know, but I know what I know
01:07:26You're just enough
01:07:27And you, ooh, ooh, ooh, that's so true
01:07:33Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, she's so cool
01:07:42Kicking back on your couch again
01:07:44I know that I'm across the room
01:07:46Ooh, ooh, that's so true
01:07:50There you go, just playing before Busta Rhymes, that was Gracie Abrams on the other stage,
01:08:06an enormous crowd. And talking of really enthusiastic crowds, behind us right now,
01:08:11you can hear a lot of people making a lot of noise for Self-Esteem, who's just coming to the end of her set.
01:08:17Yeah, it's been a real special one. Whilst you guys have been watching all the sets,
01:08:20we've been kind of catching things behind us, and we thought we'd show you a little bit now.
01:08:24Self-Esteem here on the park.
01:08:25Just tremendous, tremendous.
01:08:32This is called If Not Now, It's Soon.
01:08:37Everything you are, everything you see, everyone I used to, who you pretend to be.
01:08:44What if you're not scared, what if you're just here, and all of it just turn out like you're standing just so clear, clear, now.
01:08:56One day, not too far, it all comes around. You wonder who it was who made the choices in that town.
01:09:08See, that was all still you, you're the son of all these parts, and we can work together to be comers in your heart.
01:09:15If not now, it's soon, and whatever is right for you, we'll guide you through.
01:09:33Take it back to the beginning, while you're skinned it on that flick, yeah.
01:09:42Take it back to the beginning, while you're skinned it on that flick, yeah.
01:09:49Take it back to the beginning, while you're skinned it on that flick, yeah.
01:09:55Something will happen, because it's got to.
01:09:59But it's not just perseverance we need.
01:10:06It's patience
01:10:07With all of life's complexities, how can one way become what we do and believe to be right, to be true?
01:10:20Hold on, cause if not now, it's you.
01:10:27And whatever is right for you, will guide you through.
01:10:36Take it back to the beginning, before you skinned me all that thing.
01:10:43Oh, when you just wanted to sing, you didn't know what that would bring.
01:10:51Cause if not now, it's soon.
01:10:57Whatever is right for you, will guide you through.
01:11:12This song is called Cheers to me.
01:11:18So I'll spell it for you slowly.
01:11:24Are you ever really lonely?
01:11:27Ask yourself what that word truly means.
01:11:32There's a life comes every morning.
01:11:38When the clouds are there to spoil it.
01:11:41Ask yourself what's really happening.
01:11:46Okay.
01:11:49You're a sucker for a skinny motherfucker.
01:11:52I love them high while they text in another.
01:11:56And I'm fine but babe, it's still true.
01:11:59The worst idea I had was you.
01:12:03How many chains can I cry on in a lifetime?
01:12:07I'll swim deep down, keep an eye on the shore.
01:12:09I'll work hard but babe, it's still true.
01:12:13The worst idea I had was you.
01:12:15The worst idea I had was you.
01:12:17The worst idea I had.
01:12:19The worst idea I had.
01:12:20The worst idea I had.
01:12:21It was you.
01:12:22So you lay down with your palms up.
01:12:23Turn your head from reasonable doubt.
01:12:25My dear I had was you
01:12:28So you lay down with your palms up
01:12:34Turn your head from reasonable doubt
01:12:38Fly and shoot your self-works every time
01:12:43Do you really want a lover?
01:12:48Or a reason not to bother
01:12:52With the dreams and goals you once had for your love
01:12:57When you're a sucker for a skinny motherfucker
01:13:03I love him hard while I text him another
01:13:07And I'm fine but babe it's still true
01:13:10The worst I'd be right was you
01:13:14How many trains can I cry on in a lifetime?
01:13:18I assume the tips don't keep an eye on the shoreline
01:13:22I worked hard but babe it's still true
01:13:25The worst idea I had was you
01:13:27The worst idea I had
01:13:31The worst idea I had
01:13:34Was you the worst idea I had
01:13:38Was you
01:13:40Now let's toast each and every fucker
01:13:45Like make me this way
01:13:48Cheers to you
01:13:50Oh mostly
01:13:53Cheers to me
01:13:55Yeah let's toast each and every fucker
01:14:00Like make me this way
01:14:02Cheers to you
01:14:04Oh mostly
01:14:06Cheers to me
01:14:09Woo!
01:14:11I love the heart, all the texts in and under
01:14:18And I thought, but babe, it's still true
01:14:22The worst I ever had was you
01:14:25How many dreams can I cry in a lifetime?
01:14:29I can see if I keep an eye on the shoreline
01:14:33I worked hard, but babe, it's still true
01:14:36The worst I ever had was you
01:14:41Yeah
01:14:44Yeah, yeah, yeah
01:14:50Ah
01:14:54Oh yeah
01:14:58Yeah, yeah, yeah
01:15:04Ah
01:15:11Thank you
01:15:14Thank you
01:15:18Thank you
01:15:20Thank you
01:15:23I never could have told you
01:15:29Anything I long for
01:15:31While I was in the water
01:15:34Swimming against tides with torture
01:15:37Take it in our sky
01:15:39Lock it off
01:15:40Take it on the chin
01:15:41Just ride
01:15:42Don't be too loud or too quiet
01:15:45But I got all this fire
01:15:48I see it clear
01:15:50With every passing of each year
01:15:53I deserve to be here
01:15:58And every time I fall
01:16:01I crawl back like an animal
01:16:03My focus is powerful
01:16:05My focus is powerful
01:16:11We never had it better
01:16:13My head and heart together
01:16:16Before the pushing and the pulling
01:16:18The shape shifting
01:16:20I'm doing
01:16:21I'm doing
01:16:22To give them what they want
01:16:24Whether it's what I want or not
01:16:27You see it wasn't up to me
01:16:30But now it could be
01:16:32And now I see it clear
01:16:35With every passing of each year
01:16:38I deserve to be here
01:16:41Oh, and every time I fall
01:16:46I crawl back like an animal
01:16:49My focus is powerful
01:16:55And now
01:16:58I know you're feeling ready for your bow
01:17:03But the world is in your hands
01:17:05You took it down
01:17:07So what are you gonna do with it now?
01:17:14Keep singing, singing, singing out
01:17:17And now I see it clear
01:17:20With every passing of each year
01:17:23I deserve to be here
01:17:28Oh, and every time I fall
01:17:31I crawl back like an animal
01:17:34My focus is powerful
01:17:36My focus is powerful
01:17:38But now
01:17:42I know you're feeling ready for your bow
01:17:48But the world is in your hands
01:17:50You took it down
01:17:52So what are you gonna do with it now?
01:17:56Keep singing, singing, singing out
01:17:58Keep singing, singing, singing
01:18:02I'm, I'm, I see it clear
01:18:06With every passing of each year
01:18:09I deserve to be here
01:18:12And every time I fall
01:18:17I crawl back like an animal
01:18:20My focus is powerful
01:18:28Thank you
01:18:35Thank you
01:18:42Very nice to come back again
01:18:49Alright
01:18:55The song is called I Do This All The Time
01:19:02Look up
01:19:05Lean back
01:19:07Be strong
01:19:10You didn't think you'd live this long
01:19:13Be as one
01:19:15Hold on
01:19:18Steady stand
01:19:20For as long as you think you can
01:19:25Old habits die for a couple of weeks
01:19:29And then I start doing them again
01:19:31The sun is making me feel like I'm missing out on something
01:19:35But if I went to your barbecue
01:19:37I'd be uncomfortable and not be sure what to say anyway
01:19:42It's like when I go to your birthday drinks to congratulate you
01:19:45Be in the age I already thought you were
01:19:47Or not
01:19:48I don't know
01:19:49It's a miracle I remember it all
01:19:53When I'm buried in the ground
01:19:56I won't be able to make your birthday drinks
01:19:58I won't be able to make your birthday drinks
01:19:59But I will still feel guilty
01:20:01You see when the air warms up like this
01:20:04It brings every single memory of you back
01:20:06And it makes me so sick I can't breathe
01:20:12Except I'm still breathing, aren't I?
01:20:16So walk up
01:20:19Lean back
01:20:21Be strong
01:20:24You didn't think you'd live this long
01:20:27Be as one
01:20:29Hold on
01:20:32Steady stand
01:20:34For as long as you think you can
01:20:38Be very careful out there
01:20:40Stop trying to have so many friends
01:20:43Don't be intimidated by all the babies they have
01:20:46Don't be embarrassed that all you've had is fun
01:20:49Prioritise pleasure
01:20:52Don't send those long paragraph texts
01:20:55Stop it, don't
01:20:57Getting married isn't the biggest day of your life
01:21:01All the days that you get to have are big
01:21:04Be wary of the favours that men do for you
01:21:12I do this all the time
01:21:15I do this all the time
01:21:19So look up
01:21:21Lean back
01:21:23Be strong
01:21:25You didn't think you'd live this long
01:21:29Be as one
01:21:31Hold on
01:21:33Steady stand
01:21:35For as long as you think you can
01:21:41All you need to do darling
01:21:42Is fit in that little dress of yours
01:21:45If you weren't doing this
01:21:46You'd be working in McDonald's
01:21:48So try and cheer up
01:21:49I'm not sure
01:21:50You're moving around too much
01:21:52You need to stand still
01:21:53Be more like Marae
01:21:55Shhh
01:21:56Stop showing off
01:21:58You're a good girl
01:22:00You're a good tall girl
01:22:02You're a good sturdy girl
01:22:05Ready girl
01:22:13One day
01:22:15I would love to tell you
01:22:17How the best night of your life
01:22:19Was the absolute worst of mine
01:22:22Look up
01:22:24Lean back
01:22:26Be strong
01:22:29You didn't think you'd live this long
01:22:32Be as one
01:22:34Hold on
01:22:37Steady stand
01:22:39For as long as you think you can
01:22:43Now and again you make complete sense
01:22:46But most of the time I'm just sat here
01:22:48Feeling stupid for trying
01:22:50My hunger times my impatience
01:22:52Equals the problem
01:22:54You're beautiful
01:22:55And I want the best for you
01:22:57But I also hope you fail without me
01:23:00It was really fucking miserable trying to love you
01:23:04I love you
01:23:05I love you
01:23:06I love you
01:23:07I love you
01:23:09I love you
01:23:11Oh yeah
01:23:12I love you
01:23:13I love you
01:23:14Beautiful
01:23:15I'm so triste
01:23:16Nothing
01:23:17In a minute
01:23:18Prince
01:23:19Cause that was so thick
01:23:20Huge
01:23:21Thought
01:23:22You are such a
01:23:30I'll sing again, I will
01:23:35I'll take care
01:23:38I'll read again
01:23:41I'll sing again, I will
01:23:45We lay there in the darkness, numerously
01:23:48And I wasn't checking my phone for a moment
01:23:51And I felt...
01:24:00Thank you so much
01:24:02This is our last song
01:24:04I will never not be moved by that song
01:24:07The words in that are so powerful
01:24:09My sister heard you look out at the audience
01:24:11And then all those women on stage
01:24:13And the words resonate so much with so many different people
01:24:16That was self-esteem
01:24:17And also doing tracks from A Complicated Woman
01:24:19Which is an amazing theatrical show
01:24:20We were just saying she played Sally Bowles in Cabaret
01:24:23And she was phenomenal in that
01:24:24So she's bringing the theatrics to all her performances at the moment
01:24:27Absolutely
01:24:28Look, we're not far away from the 1975 being on your telly
01:24:31Or wherever you're watching from tonight
01:24:33First though, maybe let's switch things up and head to the other stage
01:24:37Wet Leg was stepping out on the other stage today
01:24:39They've got a brand new record on the way
01:24:41And they're feeling even more venomous and fired up
01:24:44Than perhaps we've ever seen them before
01:24:46Stepping out of that huge moment of their debut album
01:24:49And getting to go again with the second one
01:24:51And they are brilliant
01:24:53You're going to see Catch These Fists right here from Wet Leg
01:24:58Wait, I'm so happy
01:24:59Can we catch a middle Sunday fall?
01:25:01Can we catch yourself on the floor?
01:25:03Can you catch a little simple? Can you catch yourself in the fall? You should be careful
01:25:24if you catch my drift, cause what I really want to know is can you catch these fists?
01:25:29Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah man down
01:25:37Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
01:25:44I think all the team really will do is look like
01:25:48I'm trying to let you know about just seeing what's black
01:25:55We're on our way to the club
01:26:06Stupid is, stupid does
01:26:09Limousine, wrapping up
01:26:12Can't stop me
01:26:14Giddy up
01:26:16Man down
01:26:24Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
01:26:29Level up!
01:26:31I know all to do is leave your life
01:26:35I don't need to hold up just waiting for it
01:26:48Don't get pussy, get the boot
01:26:51I saw him sipping on dark fruit
01:26:52This always happens late at night
01:26:54Some guy grows up, she's almost tied
01:26:56I just threw up in my mouth
01:26:58But he just tried to ask me out
01:26:59Don't approach me
01:27:01I just wanna dance with my friends
01:27:02Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
01:27:08Man down
01:27:10Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
01:27:15Level up!
01:27:16I know all to do is leave your life
01:27:21I don't want your love, I just wanna fight
01:27:28I know all to do is leave your life
01:27:35I don't want your love, I just wanna fight
01:27:42I don't want your love, I just wanna fight
01:27:42Man down
01:27:44I didn't warn you
01:28:01Electric, full of venom
01:28:03Totally fired up on the other stage
01:28:06In the sun earlier on today
01:28:08That is wet leg
01:28:10They were tremendous, weren't they?
01:28:12They were saying, I interviewed them the other day
01:28:13And I'm sure you did too
01:28:14But Rhianne was saying how nervous she was
01:28:16Because that is a massive stage to be filling
01:28:18But oh my gosh, they smashed it
01:28:19They really did
01:28:20Huge crowd as well that they were playing to
01:28:22Yeah, absolutely
01:28:23Look, we're not far away from the 1975
01:28:25Over on BBC One
01:28:27But perhaps the 1975 aren't quite your thing
01:28:30That's okay
01:28:31Because on iPlayer
01:28:32You're able to check out
01:28:34Some of the other brilliant headliners tonight
01:28:36Loyal Karner, Maribu State
01:28:37Are a couple to watch out for
01:28:39Also, you could choose from Fortet
01:28:40And only in the Johnsons as well
01:28:42So there is so much to choose from
01:28:43But if you are very, very excited
01:28:45About the 1975
01:28:47We were headlining tonight
01:28:48On the Pyramid stage
