00:00Let's start with race 10. It's the grade two wise Dan. We were just talking a little bit about Fort Washington.
00:06It's a horse who should offer some nice value. You like this horse. You're going to put him on top and kind of try to build some stuff around him.
00:12Yeah, I actually gave him out. If you watch the Twin Spires jury earlier today is my best bet of the weekend anywhere.
00:18So it's a good thing we're talking about this race because it's a very strong opinion of mine.
00:22Yeah, I mean, at his price, you have to have a win bet on him. I mean, a five to one or better.
00:26You can't let a horse like this win and you're not cashing because you get nosed out for third and a try or you don't have the horse second.
00:34So you have to have a strong win bet on a strong opinion. That's what I have here.
00:38And then my exacta key box. I'm trying to beat Brilliant Birdie in the second spot just because I do think that some of the others are pretty comparable to him.
00:46And they're going to offer much more value on the bottom part of the exacta.
00:50I imagine an 8-7 exacta is probably going to return like something like $30, whereas an 8-6 exacta is probably something like $100.
00:59So, yeah, I'm putting him in an exacta key box using the 2-3 and 6.
01:04And what that means is he has to be first or second, he being Fort Washington.
01:09And one of those other three also have to be first or second, regardless of the order of finish.
01:13So I'm keying off of my best opinion, trying to maximize that value in that second spot.
01:19So for me, 6s and 8s would be absolutely fine, DZ.
01:23I'm going to try to make my opinion that those are the two price horses I like in this race.
01:28I'm going to put both of them in the win spot for a double.
01:31So if either one of those horses wins, it gets me to mind frame in the next race, who we'll talk a little bit about.
01:37I'll play one or two tickets where I'm leaning on mind frame.
01:40And then I'll also have another one where the other horse that I like in that race wins.
01:44We can also hit that thing.
01:45So for me, 6 or 8 would be great.
01:48It would be a really nice race.
01:49Fort Washington win would get Darren his win money.
01:52Maybe Darren could hit his exacta and get my double alive and move us along to the Stephen Foster DZ in this race.
01:59You like first mission as the horse.
02:02You want to build some things around.
02:03So talk to us about how you play your tickets here.
02:05Yeah, just from the standpoint of the trip and how it's going to work out, where he's drawn down to the inside,
02:11the progress that he's made both on the buyer scale and the rag is in scale.
02:14And at 4-1 on the morning line, he's the player.
02:16Look, I don't want to be critical of morning lines because I've made them for a long time at the Meadowlands.
02:21Mystic Dan's not going to be 3-1 in here.
02:23No.
02:24And mind frame is going to be shorter than him.
02:26Those two in particular will flip-flop a little bit.
02:28And I think first mission is going to be shorter than him.
02:32And I think Mystic Dan and Hitshow are going to be upwards of 6-7-1 in here, to be honest with you.
02:38And I think the majority of the play is going to come in on mind frame, on first mission, and on Sierra Leone.
02:44So with that in mind, I kind of put mind frame to the bottom of my trifecta.
02:49I put a win bet on first mission.
02:51I'm hoping he's no worse than third choice in here.
02:53I think 7-2 is fair enough value, and we might get that there.
02:57And then I put the horses that I like, you know, next level in the trifecta, using Skippy Longstocking and Mystic Dan,
03:03just to try to get a little bit more spice up in that middle part of the try, and then put a big spread underneath.
03:09Because when you play try, just about anybody could be third, usually, in these races.
03:12So that's my approach.
03:13We need first mission to run big.
03:14And you can see, for either of these races, like, if the 8 Fort Washington wins that race,
03:19Darren's going to try to capitalize on that strong opinion.
03:21If first mission wins this race, Darren's going to try to capitalize on that opinion.
03:25I mean, a win from first mission at around 4-1 with Skippy Longstocking or Mystic Dan running in the second spot,
03:33that's a really nice-looking trifecta that Darren would be able to complete right there,
03:36and he'd have that thing five times.
03:38A couple of different plays from Darren.
03:40How about from me?
03:41Let's go to my wagers for the Stephen Foster.
03:43So, talked about Mindframe.
03:45Maybe we're alive in the double with the two Mindframe.
03:47I like him, so I'll play one strong opinion with him on top of first mission and Sierra Leone,
03:54and then all in the third spot of that trifecta.
03:56Then I'll play the other one, which is kind of like my saver, Darren,
03:59because I do really think first mission has a big shot as well, just like you do.
04:03I want to make sure if he wins, I can get something out of that,
04:06especially if Sierra Leone or Mindframe run second,
04:09and then I have a lot of the logical contenders underneath in the third spot for that trifecta.
