00:00We need to hit every race in this parlay, but we can use multiple horses in each race

00:31This horse has run on the tepida surface down there on the synthetic and you have to go back to this time last year

00:37And those are really nice races strong buyer speed figures good effort the ability to track the pace

00:42I think that's so important when we talk about the synthetic particularly going long

00:46You rarely want to be on the lead. You also don't want to be a deep closer

00:49You really like to sit that tracking trip going two turns on the synthetic

00:52That's the sort of trip. This horse is gonna sit also dropping down a little bit in class was running in a claiming 20

00:58Last time out now dropping down to a claiming 10. I just think you have Johnny Velasquez up on the mount for Kelly Breen

01:04I like this one good value. I think as well five to one

01:07Yes, we've talked about the race as many times together a lot of my notes had you're dropping in class

01:12You're getting back to the synthetic surface and there's not that much early speed in this race

01:17He could sit a pretty good trip

01:18Just cut like a little bit off the pace sit in two or three lengths behind

01:21The nine mailman money is the one that we both like the most

01:25We're also going to include the six Onesto who is proven at Gulfstream Park. Who's a horse who will come running?

01:31You just feel like it's a good spot for this one

01:33So we'll be too deep in here using the six and nine trying to get out of race number seven

01:38That's the first leg of the pick five sequence

01:41So hopefully we get through there and we turn the page to race number eight. This one Maddie is a Florida bred

01:48Maiden special weight race. So these are newly turned three-year-old maidens. They'll be traveling six and a half furlongs here

01:54I think towards the outside of the field you probably get the real strength

01:58You have a couple horses in the seven Oleg and the eight just relax

02:02They're dropping out of races where they faced a very nice horse named rated by merit

02:07Who's been one of the fastest horses in their age group so far?

02:10They don't have to deal with him. So for them those two they get a little bit of class relief

02:15They're probably like the two horses to beat in here based on the company they faced

02:20Absolutely, you see rated by merit in the running lines and you have to automatically elevate those horses for people who don't know rated

02:26By merit has run four races and has never run slower than a 92 buyer speed figure

02:31I mean, this is a horse that is a serious Kentucky Derby future

02:33So you see a you know

02:35The large margin of defeat don't really take that into consideration because the quality of competition that they were running against

02:41I really like just relax as my top selection

02:44This one trained by Jose D'Angelo very sharp trainer with Irada Ortiz jr

02:48Up on the mount one of the top jockeys in the country and in the world

02:51So really like this one and I but this also feels like a race where you could go maybe a couple deep

02:56Yeah, we'll use a few others

02:58The four flood zone is another horse who comes out of a good debut where he was second

03:03I don't know how strong the race was

03:05But I think he was a horse coming out of that race who could definitely step forward then to the outside

03:09I'm seeing the nine. He's a beast. I'm seeing mr. Beast commercials all over the place

03:15But when you're looking at a first-time starter, you had a damn who won twice

03:19You had a horse who's a half to a horse named noble drama who is a ten-time winner in a multiple stakes winner against Florida

03:26Breads five of the six siblings one

03:28So the pedigrees there the barn is two for their last eight with first-time starters

03:34And if you go even bigger of the last five years, they've won about 12%

03:38So this checks a lot of boxes for things I'm looking for with first-time starters there

03:43So we'll end up going four seven eight and nine using four horses to try to get out of race number eight

03:49We turn the page to the ninth race

03:51It's a mile on the turf in here and another race Matt where we had the same top two

03:55So I didn't even have to go a little bit farther when we were building our ticket

03:58We had the two Mount Oreb and the ten talk a little bit about Mount Oreb who the form is just really good overall

04:05It feels like a nice fit in this race

04:07Yeah, very much

04:08I mean

04:09this is a horse that it just you know was very consistent at the

04:12Maiden special weight level and it felt like this horse just finally kind of started stretching out and

04:18Really ran a great race last time out came in up fourth

04:22But the second and third place finishers both came back to win next time out coming out of a race at Churchill Downs again

04:28It tracks. I rat Ortiz jr

04:29All he's doing is winning

04:3129% of his mounts during this meet seven and two in the morning line for a horse that really appears to be very versatile

04:36Between either the synthetic or the turf and has really never run a bad race

04:41So I thought that one made a lot of sense

04:42And then the ten also makes a lot of sense

04:45So you can talk about Navy SEAL maybe a little bit if you'd like

04:47Yeah

04:48You look at the races that Navy SEAL is coming out of he's raced four times since coming to the u.s

04:53After he ran in the UAE Derby against forever young

04:56Yeah

04:57Just saw win a big race the other day and forever young was in the Derby and in the Breeders Cup Classic and he's gonna

05:02Be pointing to the Breeders Cup Classic next year

05:04But you see a horse named flat and be who won five in a row

05:07You see Carson's run who's a multiple grade one winner in the running lines

05:11even in the last race at Churchill Downs where Navy SEAL finished fourth the fifth place finisher came out of that race and won a

05:18First level allowance race at Santa Anita last week. So Navy SEAL exits some strong races

05:23We're gonna use the two and the ten to try to make it through race number nine

05:27Race number ten is the mucho macho, man

05:30We spoke about that one a few moments ago just to recap the picks for everyone. We're gonna use the one guns loaded

05:36We're gonna use the three

05:38McKellen and the five cool intentions the two horses we think can sit off the pace a little bit and then we've got a fun

05:44Long shot in the eight naughty rascal who could offer us some really nice value

05:48So one three five and eight will turn the page to the ginger brew which will round out this pick five sequence

05:55That's gonna be race number 11 there

05:57I thought this was a tough race Matt where you mean a lot of horses you could use in these three-year-old fillies and I

06:03Think you included one of the horses that I like to the to love Travere a who's a fair price

06:09But talk about like your major contenders in here. Who are your top picks? We end up going or 810

06:15So we're we're four deep in here

06:17Yeah, my topics was Civetta the number eight for Brendan Walsh just a barn that I really like

06:22This is a good dolphin owned and bred horse

06:25Obviously that reputation speaks for itself coming off of a win in a stakes company last time out with our rat Ortiz jr

06:31Up should be able to sit a tracking trip ought to like there

06:34Yeah, so we put them all together. We can take a look at the pick five ticket. It's a hundred and twenty eight dollar ticket

06:40We don't have any singles, but there are two races where we shorten up a little bit

06:44we'll use two horses in the seven with just the six in the nine and then two horses in the ninth with just the two

06:50In the ten and there are a couple races where we don't have short price favorites in there

06:55So if we hit this ticket, it is going to pay very very well. We have a hundred and twenty eight dollar play
