00:00We have talked so much, Jerry, about Brad as an actor and what he brings to it,

00:04but tell me a little bit about Brad as a producer and what he's like, you know, in that role.

00:10Well, he spent so much time with us crafting the script and the story and helping the production,

00:16putting the people together with the actors.

00:18I mean, he's got such a keen eye for talent, and everybody we cast went through his purview,

00:23and so he's so value-added as somebody who brings more excellence to what we do.

00:29Can we talk a little bit?

00:30Because we heard that you and Tom may be coming back together to do Days of Thunder again.

00:36What is there something that you guys discussed about that you have to, like, do in this movie going forward?

00:43In the next one, you mean?

00:44Yes, in the next one, yes.

00:46Well, there's always new technologies.

00:47There's always new ways to do things and to see things, and Tom is such a great individual,

00:53comes up with phenomenal ideas, so we'll have something really exciting for an audience once we pull it together.

00:59Is there something in you that always sparks when you're making, whether it's Pirates or Top Gun or this,

01:04when you're making these movies but you know they have to have heart,

01:08what is it that sparks in you that says, okay, this is what we've got to put here

01:12to, like, open this up to an even wider audience and make sure that we're bringing in the people who also need a story?

01:19Well, it's always about the emotion.

01:22It's always about the journey we take you on, the highs and the lows and the humor and the romance.

01:27We want it in our lives.

01:28We want that.

01:29That's what F-front 1 gives you.

01:31It gives you teamwork and excellence and second chances and all the things that we want.

01:37And you want to go through that experience and feel better when you come out of it.

01:40Is there ever a part of you that wanted to get behind the wheel and drive?

01:44Not when I see how gifted these guys are.
