00:00Taking a look at radar, thankfully, western North Carolina, eastern Tennessee has been clear the last few hours.
00:06Instead, we're mainly seeing thunderstorms down into Florida, and some of these have been on the strong to severe side.
00:11So keep in mind, of course, anytime that there is a thunderstorm and there's lightning, you need to get inside.
00:16But just know that there could be some stronger wind gusts coming with some of these as well.
00:20Tomorrow, we continue with this pattern of, you know, your daily kind of summer thunderstorms popping up in the afternoon and the evening.
00:26Still very spotty, but that area of high pressure to the north, that is going to start to really be the story as we see a heat wave take over.
00:35We'll take a look at the rain first, though, give you an idea of exactly what to expect.
00:38By about 2 o'clock, a lot of portions of the southeast dealing with some of those spotty thunderstorms.
00:43They stick around until through the evening.
00:45Sunday morning is clear.
00:46A little bit earlier into the day Sunday, we start to see those pop up around 1130 or so.
00:51And then, I mean, overnight Monday, there they are clearing out once again.
00:56Now, temperature wise, Florida, you're right about where you should be this time of year ballpark.
01:01But it's places like Raleigh, Nashville, Atlanta.
01:03That's where we're seeing temperatures warmer than our historical averages, starting to see that heat wave kind of start to settle in.
01:09It's as we go, especially Sunday and then into the work week, that's when we really start to see those temperatures rise even more for some of us, Raleigh, 98 degrees.
01:18We're getting close to triple digits there.
01:20And it's going to stick with us really for a couple of days.
