00:25So I asked him, based on the comments he was making,
00:28because he was all about like, oh, he wouldn't go to team functions
00:31and I couldn't get him to do an interview.
00:33I was like, hey, Pappy, is this guy like, are you saying he's a bad teammate?

00:39He wasn't willing to conform to what the Red Sox needed.
00:44And when you're the highest paid player and your company
00:48or your team needs something, I think it's up to that person
00:53that they have to do what's best for the team.

09:26And also said this will allow them to help keep Wilmer more fresh.
09:32And in fact, give him some nights off to mix in with his starts in the field.
09:37So, in other words, instead of DH-ing every night, how about if it's like first base three times a week or four times a week?
09:45And then, on the other nights, we can have you off entirely, but we also have you as a weapon, as a pinch hitter in the late innings.
09:52Because Casey Schmidt will continue to be the starting third baseman until Matt Chapman returns.
10:00So, there I think we now have all of the answers with regard to how this is all going to lay out for the Giants with the addition of Devers.
