The bodies of a man and woman have been discovered in a granny flat in Sydney's Northern Beaches. The deaths are being investigated as an alleged murder-suicide, police sources have told the ABC.

00:12Now upon entering a granny flat at the back of the property police found two

00:23Now that initial call of concern was made by someone who was familiar with the occupants
00:30and had actually made that call because they were concerned about the welfare of their pets.

00:42they've described finding them with lacerations. They say that no one had had contact with either
00:48of the two occupants since Saturday. Now earlier police spoke to the media they say

01:45the property and had only been there for about six months at the time but police have yet to formally
01:50identify the two.
