00:00Well it was another historic moment at the Australian War Memorial but also for a very

00:25storied aircraft but what did I make of it? I was just so touched when the

00:31children who were here to watch it spontaneously applauded as G4George

00:35rounded the roundabout and came home. I was just very very touched by that level

00:40of emotion empathy and understanding. So what now happens is she will be going to

00:46Anzac Hall where the RAAF and my wonderful curators of large objects will

00:52reassemble her so within a fortnight she'll be completely back together

00:56again so she'll be joined by the other pieces the wings the four engines the

01:00tail section and she'll be lovingly carefully put back together where she

01:04will soon by early next year feature in the reimagined Bomber Command display.
