Avro Lancaster PA474 returns to the RAF Battle of Britain Memorial Flight

On Saturday 11 th September 2021, Avro Lancaster PA474 landed back at RAF Coningsby after ten months away undergoing a routine ‘Minor Plus’ maintenance programme with the Aircraft Restoration Company at Duxford.
One of only two Lancaster bombers still flying today, PA474 can now rejoin the rest of the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight (BBMF) fleet for the remainder of the season.
