High voltage drama unfolded in Bareilly near the CDO bungalow when a woman publicly beat her husband with slippers in the middle of the road, accusing him of living with a second wife.
The incident, which took place in the Kotwali police station area, quickly drew a crowd, with onlookers recording videos of the dramatic confrontation. According to reports, the furious first wife confronted her husband over his alleged second marriage and thrashed him in full public view.
Police reached the spot after receiving information, dispersed the crowd, and brought both parties to the station for questioning. Officials have said that the matter is being investigated and appropriate action will be taken.
