00:00the first thing you want to do is prep your natural nails so right now I'm just pushing

00:45just trimmed off the cuticles and now I'm going to add this nourishing oil so this is like part of
00:50the dip powder system they include this nourishing oil part of and it's part of the kit it is great
00:56it smells so nice and it's so wonderful so I'm filing down my nails I nourish them I'm just
01:02getting them really short because you want them to be very short underneath I'm using some acetone
01:07just to wipe off the excess oils once they have set into my skin and I'm just going to buff out my
01:13natural nail now I'm taking the jelly tips in the coffin size and they're short so sorry the coffin
01:22shape and they're short so inside I actually listed down my numbers for each of my fingers so I measured
01:29it out and so the number ones would be my thumbs or whatever it I wrote everything's measured down so
01:36I know and then I'm going to take this filing and file down the inside of each nail so I'm going to do
01:43this step for each single nail it's good to have like a scratched surface I'm going to go in with
01:50number one of the jelly step system which is the prep this basically dehydrates the nail so it removes
01:59like excess residue I believe and just hydrate dehydrates it dries it out so it's good to apply
02:05your jelly tip so just go ahead and once I want to apologize just right now for the filming some some
02:12of it is like cut off like you can't really see what I'm doing so I'll try to get a better angle next
02:16time step two is the primer this is going to be a primer for your nails
02:20um so yeah so it's easy and everything is everything comes with instructions as well if
02:27you're unsure and I had to watch a few youtube videos to understand this system because it was
02:33a little confusing but honestly it's easy once you get the hang of it step number three is really
02:38crucial it's the builder so this is a very thick substance it's basically your glue
02:43so you're going to want to put it not close to your not close to like your cuticle a little bit
02:50away from away from it you want to give it some space do that for your whole entire hand on all
02:56the nails like a nice thick layer and then cure it for 60 seconds and this is what it looks like
03:02so as you can see there's like a jelly layer so that's basically perfect so now you're going to take
03:07the same jelly step number three the builder and you're going to apply it to where you buffed out
03:13the jelly tip nails so and you want to be generous but not overly generous with this part you definitely
03:20want a lot because as you can see you got to get rid of all the air bubbles once you once you place
03:25it on your finger so be generous but don't put too much or else it's going to literally burn your skin
03:32under the uv lamp so here i am i'll i'm going to show you guys a better angle of it but if you can
03:39slowly see i'm pushing out air bubbles and then i'm pushing it into the opening of the led light and
03:46it's curing so cure you can they say you can hold it for 10 seconds and let go so i usually just do
03:52that body already already cured a sheet so this is what it looks like now so that's it cured it's so
04:02easy i just did my index finger i'm just showing you guys what it looks like and i'm gonna give you
04:06guys an up close shot so here i go again applying the jelly gel the builder step three which is the
04:14builder on the nail flipping it around very carefully put it turning on my lamp now i'm gonna push it
04:24into my nail and as you can see i'm pressing it down so that all of that gel gets um placed nicely so
04:32there's no air bubbles you you don't want to have air bubbles you guys or else your nail is gonna lift
04:38and it's not gonna last like a week or two so quite obsessed with that this is what my whole entire
04:46hand looks like i think i did a really good job you can even just paint over these if you want to
04:51i'm this um this video i'm gonna be using the dip powder system but you can just use any type of gel
04:58color they're literally perfect and good to go at this stage so just i just filed them down a bit
05:03because it's good to just get them the shape you want and then i buff them out
05:08now i'm gonna go into this dip powder called tickled pink it's a beautiful peachy pink color
05:17so they suggest that you like roll the pigment around inside it's usually good to do that so that
05:25it can separate and that's what the color is then for my ring finger i'm using this color 90s baby
05:32which is a beautiful shimmery glittery purplish pink color which i am personally living breathing dying
05:43for there goes the beautiful glitter so this is the system so you got the bond which is number one
05:50number two which is the base which is basically the glue and number three is the seal protect which
05:56you definitely need to apply liberally and the fourth is obviously the top coat they bring
06:03they sorry they include um an instruction pamphlet for you so that's really really good
06:10and so here i'm pure pouring so it comes with the clear dip powder so i'm pouring this into the
06:16recycling system and you guys will see why i do this and this is very good the recycling system
06:21basically catches the ones the excess powder that falls over which is which is basically great
06:26and this is all included if you buy like a dip powder set all of these items are included and i
06:33just did it because i knew you know it would be a better price for all these items so i use the first
06:39step i think which was prime or bond and then i'm using this one i believe it's bond this is the glue
06:44part so i'm not going all the way to the cuticle i'm just going a little bit away from it
06:49and i'm doing a nice even coat of it so this is essential you want to first dip it into the clear
06:56dipping powder so this is not any sort of color this is just giving you a base this is basically like
07:02your primer coat if you can think of it that way you can use a brush to dust off i just use like a
07:07random makeup brush that's clean then do another layer of the base glue and this layer you're going
07:15to go to your cuticle basically so apply a nice layer again on top of that and dip into your color
07:24of choice and don't worry if it's not even or if you don't think it's pigmented enough we're doing
07:32this a second time so these are instructions are all listed out but you want to do it i believe it's
07:37like two times you dip into the color of your choice so another layer of the glue i believe it's
07:43the bond or base i'm not sure number two dip again
07:48and the fallout i just bang my finger on the side just to like get rid of the fallout and then i do
07:55another coat of the base and then i take my recycling system and i struggle a little bit here
08:03to show you guys it from a good angle but basically you just want to sprinkle the clear
08:09powder on this nail what this does is that once you file it down you won't be chipping away at like
08:14the color you'll be chipping away at the the clear powder basically which is good because you definitely
08:20have to file these down dip powders you have to definitely file it down now you want to be very
08:25liberal with this this is a seal protect this is what seals it if you don't do this step your nail
08:32color will not be sealed and it'll still be wet it'll never dry so this almost lets it dry instantly
08:39so apply a lot a lot a lot of lot of it
08:42and there you go i'm gonna show you guys it a few more times so dip into the clear powder
08:51dip into apply the base dip again to your um color apply more base and then dip again
09:00then obviously apply more base and put some clear powder on top
09:07tap tap tap tap tap tap tapping wrist on glitter waist on thinner so then you do more base well you
09:19begin with the base i'll be i like to just show you guys the step over and over again just so you guys
09:25can know dip into the clear powder
09:29apply more base
09:33because i'm all about that base but i base no trouble
09:38dip into your color of choice here i'm using tickled pink
09:42apply more base
09:45it's very easy you guys like honestly when i first did it i was very like lost
09:51but it like you got to just keep practicing it and it's so nice oh my gosh and now i'm dipping
09:57into 90s baby it's such a pretty glitter so stunning so beautiful
10:02i'm carefully trying not to mess it up then apply the base on top of it again and now let's dip this
10:13this is so satisfying to watch

10:21yeah it's very easy and i love doing it i love that i can do it all from the comfort of my home
10:27i'm just using this e-file right now just to get rid of the edges
10:30make everything smooth and even
10:32i didn't i will admit like and i took this i made this video like a month ago so and i never edited it
10:40but my technique has definitely improved like i'm very careful or better now i guess
10:45so the last step is the top coat so the top coat
10:48honestly smells like a glue so you got to be careful you got to apply it quick
10:53and it says to apply two coats over this
10:57so this is going to be i think this is my second final coat of the top coat
11:03and this is very specific to the system so you
11:07you definitely want to check their website out and see their sets
11:11because the sets comes with everything you don't have to worry about it
11:15because you need this you can't use any other top coat
11:19i guess you could but this top coat is like specifically for dip powders
11:24and look at that it's just like i love the way top coats just finish off the look
11:29and the last and final step most important nourish oil
11:34because your cuticles are going to be so ashy and so dry and so irritated
11:39sometimes they might bleed so you need to be very careful with that
11:43and definitely apply oil to nourish them hoes
11:47because you really need it trust trust me girl
