00:00Hi you guys, I want to talk to you about something that's been very obvious. I have lost 80 pounds
00:04And I want to talk about the implications of my weight loss and what it means for me as a plus-size creator
00:10Who has always advocated for body positivity? Like what does it mean miss girl? Are we hypocrites now?
00:16So let's dig into it. First of all, I decided to go on a fitness journey and weight loss just happened naturally
00:22Like I didn't weigh myself for months on end. I just focused on eating good feeling good and regulating my emotions
00:30By working out and miss girl has it helped. I used to be a hot mess now
00:34I'm like a little bit of a hot mess not too much mentally a hot mess, but you guys got it the exercise definitely helped
00:41So what does that mean for me now as a someone who has advocated for loving your body at any size?
00:47I still believe that through and through but I also believe in body autonomy choosing what you want to do with your body
00:53What you want to wear anything that is a freedom of choice that is revolving around your body
01:00Should be advocated for so if you want to go on a fitness journey if you want weight loss surgery
01:05If you want to take medications if you want to take a weight loss drugs like it's literally your choice and no one else's
01:11But overall like I just think you should be able to do whatever you want with your body
01:16And no matter what people will have something to say about it either way
01:20So it's about being happy in your own body
01:23And I think it's also important to advocate for inclusive fashion no matter what you no matter how much weight you lose
01:30No matter if you don't even need to shop at plus-size stores anymore. It's so good to promote inclusive fashion because girl
01:38Let's be real. I'm gonna be curvy forever
01:39I don't think I'm ever gonna be skinny and that's definitely not my goal to be skinny. I just want to be happy
01:44I just want to feel good and eat my base
01:47I want to eat protein miss girl
01:49I want to have high protein meals and that's basically what I've been doing is having high protein cooking every single meal for myself
01:55And just making the right decisions and I swear to you guys I feel so good and this is not me preaching at anyone to lose weight
02:02Or to do anything, but if you don't feel good you can do something about it
02:06If you feel like your health is declining or you don't have enough strength or you feel lethargic during the day
02:13Which was my big issue. My biggest issue is feeling tired all the time
02:16um, you know like you can do something about it and you don't need to be judged or shamed for wanting to improve your lifestyle and yeah
02:25so anyways, um, yeah, I just want to say be honest be true and be very much true to yourself at the end of the day
02:33Because it's you and it's your body and if you want to change something
02:37It's your decision to do so just like it's your decision to wear whatever you want at any size. It's the same
