03:47This plant is endemic to the East and South Rims of Mauna Loa on the Island of Hawaii.

04:56The adult Iiwi bird is mostly dark red,

05:03and a long, curved, salmon-colored beak that is useful for drinking nectar.
05:08The contrast of the red and black feathers with the surrounding green foliage
05:12making the Iiwi one of Hawaii's most easily visible native birds.
05:17The Anianiao bird is a species of Hawaiian sunbird
05:24which is endemic to the highland forests of the island of Kauai.
05:28Anianiao is a yellow bird with bright feathers and is about 10 cm long.
05:34It is the smallest Hawaiian sunbird in the Hawaiian Islands.
05:38Anianiao has a slightly curved beak and weighs about 10 grams.
05:42The plumage of female birds is more uniform and a duller yellow-green color
05:48than the bright yellow color of the male bird.
05:51The Kawai Elepayo bird is a king bird found on Kawai Island.
05:57The number reached 40 thousand around 1970,
06:03but it decreased by half in 1990.
06:08Adult birds have gray heads and backs.
06:12With white supercilia, rust-red chest,
06:16and the bottom is white.
06:19Young birds are rust-colored above and white below.

06:29It is a species of finch that belongs to the Fringillidae family.
06:33It is a species endemic to the Hawaiian Islands.
06:36The habitat of the species includes Montanetropis or Subtropics.

06:45Then the Palila is an endangered species of Hawaiian sparrow-billed sunbird.
06:54It has a golden yellow head and chest,
06:58with a light belly, gray back, and greenish wings and tail.
07:04This bird has a close ecological relationship with the mamani tree,
07:07and is becoming endangered due to logging and accompanying dry forests.
07:17Next, the Akiapolaau bird is a Hawaiian honeyeater species that is endemic to the island of Hawaii.
07:24Its natural habitat includes dry mountain moist forests.
07:28and the only bird species on the island that occupies the woodpecker niche.
07:32This bird reaches 14 cm in length and has a curved beak that is unusual for its species.
07:41The Akiapolaau is a plump bird with a whitish rump and tail,
07:46black legs, yellow chest, orange head, facial mask, and black beak and black-grey wings.
07:54Hawaiian koot is also known as alai keokeo in Hawaiian.
07:59is a bird in the rail family, ralidae, that is endemic to Hawaii.
08:05With a body length of around 33 to 40 cm and a weight of around 700 grams.
08:12The feathers are black with a prominent white front shield.
08:16Its natural habitat is freshwater lakes, freshwater swamps, coastal salt lagoons.
08:22This bird was federally listed in October 1970 as an endangered species.
