00:00And look, I've already seen Florida in these playoffs go down 2-0 on the road and come back.
00:06So I'm not going to be overly concerned if I'm a Florida backer or a Florida fan if they did lose this game too tonight.
00:13But I'll tell you this, Dave, I thought it was essential that Edmonton won the first game at home,
00:19especially after being down 3-0 last year.
00:21I thought it was a huge win for them in game one on Wednesday night.
00:24Yeah, without a doubt. Just for their confidence, let alone the odds.
00:31Like, I mean, you know, from an odds maker perspective, it was minus 120, 125 for the series price.
00:38And now them winning, odds makers kind of tell you the story a little bit.
00:44You know, the odds don't always give you the winner, but they tell you, you know, where it's going.
00:48So now it's over 2-1. So we have a series.
00:51Now the game 2 odds tonight, still the same, right?
00:55It's minus 125. It's coming down a little bit here in Vegas.
00:59Minus 115. I think the zigzags theory that you always hear about the NBA, which is a whole other story, might come into play.
01:07There might be some people looking to back Florida tonight.
01:11I still think Florida can win the series despite losing game one at home.
01:15That's what you're supposed to do, unlike the Oklahoma City Thunder.
01:19When you're a big favorite at home, you're supposed to win.
01:22If you're a pick-em favorite at home and you win, okay, that's what you're supposed to do.
01:27The total's interesting to me, Mikey. The total.
01:31Six and a half. Again, odds makers not fearing the total.
01:35What do you think about the total?
01:37Well, and before I even get there, I will tell you, over here on the East Coast, Dave,
01:41I thought it was interesting that at this moment that we're talking,
01:44and we're obviously still several hours before puck drop, I got the Oilers down to minus 114 here on the East Coast right now.
01:52So that's starting to come down.
01:54A lot of Florida pouring in, as they say.
01:57Here's my thoughts on the total.
01:59I liked the under the other night.
02:01Obviously, it didn't hit.
02:02Thankfully, we like to keep ourselves engaged in-game,
02:05and I was able to also do under 7.5, under 8.5 because of how much scoring there was early in the game.
02:12So my pre-game 6.5, despite it getting torpedoed, I had those in-game unders as well backed up
02:18because I really felt, Dave, and you saw it as the game switched,
02:22and you said Edmonton tilted the ice.
02:25I thought that there would be a little bit more, it would be a little more stabilization in the game.
02:29I didn't think it was going to be like it was the first period all night,
02:32this up and down, back and forth.
02:33If someone's going to lock some things down at some point,
02:36and you did get that through the last 25, 30 minutes of the game.
02:41And I do believe, Dave, that that carries over into tonight.
02:45I think that now that these teams, they had that little start back and forth,
02:49little, you know, kind of fast and loose pace,
02:52I think the way they played third period overtime is how you might see tonight.
02:57I like the under again tonight, believe it or not.
02:59I'm going under the 6.5.
03:00I think that's the play.
03:06I leaned under, and I did what you did with the end game because I like when it jumps up
03:10and you have, you're thinking under 6.5, and you get a bigger number.
03:15So that worked out.
03:17I don't know, Mike.
03:17The way the goals happened so fast for Florida, like they got that lead.
03:26I don't want to say they sat on it, but they can score quickly.
03:31So we could get another over tonight.
03:33I'm with you, though.
03:34So I'm leaning under right now.
03:36I really don't know who's going to win the series.
03:38I've been going back and forth.
03:40I'm just watching and going, yeah, I think it's Florida.
03:45I still do, but I'm not, like, all in with it, you know?
03:50I really think it's going six or seven.
03:53This has got to go six or seven games, does it not?
03:56I really don't know who's going to win the series.
